Located just steps away from the beach, it's a perfect retreat for those seeking both relaxation and excitement. Plus, it's dog-friendly, ensuring that every member of the family can enjoy the getaway. The first floor welcomes you with two private bedrooms and a shared bath with large shower. The first bedroom features two queen beds and shares access with the newly added bunk room featuring 3 bunk beds (twin over twin). All furniture in the house is brand new and top of the line. Comfortable furnishings, large flat screen tv’s, fast internet and it’s only the first floor. As you ascend to the main floor, past the fully tiled accent wall, perfect for photo’s is the main living space. On the right, facing Gannet Street, is the fully remodeled kitchen equipped with top-of-the-line appliances, cabinets and countertops. Adjacent to the kitchen and dining area is a charming Carolina room, perfect for relaxing with a book or checking on some emails. To the left, the main living area greets you with new high-end furnishings, an 85-inch smart TV and doors out to the back deck. From the living room, take a few steps down to the pool area for a swim. Enjoy the sun while on the pool deck or fire up the grill and enjoy lunch at the patio table by the pool. You can also enjoy the game from the comfort of the pool with the pool side TV. Rinse off from the beach and come right up to pool deck for a great time outside. Back inside the main floor are the remaining three bedrooms, including a primary bedroom with a king-sized bed and ensuite bathroom for added comfort. The primary suite is on the right side of the home and has a large shower and double sinks just inside the bedroom. There is also a door to the back deck off the bedroom. The left side of the home has the other king bedroom and shares a bath with the adjacent queen bedroom. The shared bathroom features luxury tile in the large shower and double sinks as well. This place was perfect for our group! Fantastic location (steps from the beach but hidden amongst the amazing ancient trees). The house is nice but has a homey feel; it’s very comfortable with small children. And even though it’s surrounded by other larger properties it feels very secluded (especially the pool area). 2 Thumbs up on this one!

The house is perfect for more than one family and for kids. It’s nice but not “ don’t touch this or that “ nice. In other words, very family friendly. The rooms are separated in a way that allows for plenty of privacy when needed. The kids loved night swimming and loved the lights in the pool . We loved that we could walk from beach to house with ease - wasn’t uncommon for the kids to run back on their own for some forgotten item . This is by far my favorite location on the island. Could the house use some cosmetic upgrades ? Yes. Did it affect our stay ? Not a bit ! Great service from rental company ( THANKS Quinn!). We will be back !

We so enjoyed our stay at 18 Gannet! It was both spacious and cozy! The pool was so nice, with its little waterfall, and we enjoyed reading in what we called the “observation deck”, the room up the spiral stairs.

House is quite suitable for a family that needs four bedrooms. The pool was clean, but cold because it is primarily in the shade. The air conditioner in the lower bedroom needs to be updated as it is noisy. Even with the AC off, though, the room was cool during a hot week.

The house suited our family of 9 well with room to spare. The 4 bedrooms easily accommodated the 3 couples and 3 children in our group. We went to the beach and swam in the pool every day and Caligny Square was a short walk or bike ride. Great location.

Overall the home was great! Unfortunately a few rooms carried pesky creatures! Family members woke to bites ranging from 2-6 bites 3-4 nights. Our guess was spider bites being two small punctures in skin surrounded by red raised sore. After a few days of rubbing cortisone on said areas they began to diminish.

Terrific house and 50 yards to the beach. We cooked or got take-out every night to avoid crowds and the kitchen had everything we needed. The beach wasn't crowded either. Had an excellent family vacation.

Killer location right near Coligny and the Beach. I had no real complaints about the property other than the ice maker in the fridge didn't work. Property manager had a new bag of ice in the freezer when we checked in, so it wasn't a big deal. That ice probably tasted better than tap water ice anyway! I'd definitely stay there again!

Everything was great! The only disappointment that we had was that the ad from VRBO said that 4 free bike rentals were included with this house. They were not. We got a discounted rate on the bike rentals through Beachside Getaway but they were $100 and because of the ad we had thought they were free.

Over all a very good experience. House is very close and convenient to the beach and to the shopping area in Hilton head. Home had four very usable bedrooms and extra space for inflatable mattresses if needed. Was a little short on some of the kitchen appliances and there was not a good location to store the food that we brought with us. The pantry was locked. Otherwise everything was great and we would stay there again without hesitation. Rental agency very responsive and courteous during our stay. Would give this five stars
