The central location is excellent right next to the main points of interest in Alkmaar and restaurants etc
We had breakfast both nights and an evening meal, both were very good
I stayed here 2 years ago and since then the rooms look they need some attention. Despite that the bed and bedding were fine and comfortable. The street noise at night can be distracting.

In the middle of the nice old quarter of Alkmaar. Very nice restaurant downstairs. Comfortable room, but with a bit of street noise from the narrow pedestrian street. Very friendly atmosphere and lots of character in these old houses.
A shower curtain would have been a welcome improvement, as the whole bathroom was wet and slippery after using the shower.

Room was much nicer than I had anticipated.
Breakfast was really good.
There was so much noise and partying going on all night right outside the hotel. It didn't quiet down until after 3 am.
