The extra parking charge which I had not been aware of .A drinks facility (tea ,coffee) in the room would be good .

We enjoyed the walkable distance from the station and into the center of town. The staff was very helpful with luggage and the breakfast was great. We liked the interieur of the breakfast/bar area.

Small hotel, across from Alkmaar station.
perfect for solo travelers, as the rooms are small.
location is good. bed is comfy. has all you need in the room
noisy, can hear everything as the walls seem to be very thin.
people are smoking inside, as you can really smell sigaret.
