Reception staff were pleasant & very helpful, particularly prior to arrival. Bed was very comfortable. Our evening meal in the Fairways restaurant was very acceptable (but not outstanding). The bar area was a spacious & pleasant place to sit after a meal.
The website gives the impression of a much more upmarket hotel than it actually is. The walls of our room were paper thin - we could clearly hear people talking next door. The floorboards squeaked & the shower made a noise like a banshee! I was woken in the morning by people moving around in the room next door. The carpet on the staircase was loose on one step & could cause an accident if it gets much worse.

Very clean. Bar staff very friendly..
Beds old and sagging.
Rooms very noisy, walls paper thin and you can hear people in next door room opening blinds, opening doors.
Shower was so noisy that I honestly thought it was going to explode.
Bar food was cheap and greasy.
