1. Location - at the edge of Old Town, 2 min to the water promenade, 20 min walk to the old ferry, great location for traveling with kids (big fun playground 2 min and a park with a fun water fountain).
2. Breakfast - fabulous, great quality food, delicious.
3. Private parking available at a good price (5 E/day). Public parking also available.
4. Nice staff.
5. Electric heater in the bathroom great for drying swimming suits.
6. Room and hotel - new, clean, nice design.
1. Soundproofing not ideal, but it wasn't as bad as other reviews stated (trafic noise is significant, and our room was not road facing and we were there on weekdays).
2. The suite is not a real suite. There's no door between bedroom and livingroom, only a curtain.
3. Not ideal for a family with a small kid - the curtain door, bathroom separated by glass walls, very difficult to move around while the child is sleeping early, plus the constant traffic noise.
4. No restaurant on site, but there are options available nearby.

The room was nice and spotlessly clean
Let me start by saying that I completely understand why the hotel is highly rated however there are no communal areas except chairs on the half landings on the staircase and the reception is in the basement.
The restaurant for breakfast is also underground and we must have timed it badly as it was like feeding time at the zoo with people barging in front of us to grab as much food as they could leaving little behind. As we were moving towards the pastries, someone pushed past us and took three of the four remaining items for herself
It is a nice hotel but it has no soul
