About this bed and breakfast
North shore Maui ocean view B and B is a vacation rental with three bedrooms for rent individually on Maui's north shore. Each room has a private bathroom, ac, tv, and Wifi. Room 3 is the only room on the top floor of the house. The rest of the house, the entrance, fully equipped kitchen, living room and spacious ocean view lanai are all shared spaces with the other guests and the owners. Located near the road to Hana we are ideally situated for exploring this side of Maui. We are on agricultural land and grow bananas and citrus. For breakfast we provide bagels, eggs, yogurt, waffles, oatmeal, banana, coffee and tea. Breakfast is self serve and is available anytime. We live on the property and are available at all times for questions and assistance. We are available for one night minimum stays and do not charge a cleaning fee. We work hard to keep insects and geckos at bay but they do occasionally find a way inside. We are a permitted rental. I don’t think we could have picked a better place to stay, we didn’t want to leave! It’s more beautiful than the pictures, such a comfortable bed, stunning views, and such a great location for the road to Hana!

We arrived late in the evening, but that was fine because of the excellent communication and clear directions from the owner. Room was clean, comfortable, bathroom had necessary supplies and breakfast was so convenient and delicious. Beautiful view, private and safe setting, so easy and stress-free after a long day of travel!

The room was large, nicely decorated and exactly as described. It was well-apportioned, clean and had everything needed for an overnight stay. The host very communicative and I would highly recommend this place. We used it as a jumping off point for Haleakala sunrise and the breakfast was greatly appreciated. I would definitely stay here in again.

The room was large and everything was very clean. The grab and go breakfast was a perfect light meal. I would recommend the host add screens to the windows in the bathroom and seal the gap in the window by the AC; bugs and mosquitos were able to get in.

The B&B and its garden are wonderfully kept. Everything the the house is of high quality and very clean. The view towards the ocean from the patio is amazing. Highly recommended!

Very clean, beautiful setting, handy to east and central Maui.
We enjoyed our morning coffee and evening Bailey’s sitting on the private small deck. Nice to have access to food all the time.

We enjoyed our time at the North Shore Bed and Breakfast. Our room was quiet and had great airflow. We kept all the windows and sliding glass doors open which made for comfortable sleeping. We appreciated the space and privacy of the b&b. Howard was incredibly responsive and very prompt which put us at ease getting in late at night. We also appreciated breakfast which helped kick off our morning especially since we were adjusting to a 3 hour time difference. It was super convenient too since it’s not far from the airport, and on the way to Hana but still close to Paia and Kahului. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Booked one night here after the road to Hana tour. Check in was smooth and easy. Stayed in room three. Room was clean and comfortable and had AC. Went right to bed as we arrived late in the evening. Bagels and waffles for breakfast and ate on the lanai, enjoying the view. Overall had a great stay and would stay here again.

Beautiful property - everything was as described. We appreciated the guidebooks - very helpful. Also nice that it is located on the road to Hana. We would definitely recommend this property to anyone visiting Maui.

North side of Maui, swaying palm trees of all varieties. Well groomed grounds and wonderful ocean view. Get room 3 if you can. We spent a week here.
Home is everything one might want in a Hawaiian residence. We could have simply stayed on the property, sat on the front porch, and had a great time. Spend a day at the house if you have the time.
Breakfast fixings all there for a good start each day.
Host Howard very responsive.
The south side of the island is a short hop for beaches and snorkeling.
Right at the start of Road to Hana and near Haiku - Wialuku coffee co. we highly recommend.

This place had it all. Quiet, beautiful scenery, view of the ocean just a short drive from restaurants, the provide food for you to make what you want for breakfast.. shared kitchen, comfy bed, wonderful porch. I’d rent the whole place- all 3 rooms for a family , but if it’s a couple or single, it’s just a wonderful place, clean, beautiful lush property. Couldn’t have loved the stay more. Just wish we had booked it for longer! Next trip!!

We adored this home/room! We spent two nights here while exploring this side of the island and could easily shave enjoyed longer. It is beautiful and clean, right off the highway but remote as well. The access to RTH was fabulous. The A/C cooled it off at night wonderfully. It is clean, comfortable bed, big bathroom, gorgeous area. Had it been a king bed we'd have stayed longer. There is even a closet to leave a few items and come back for them later, which we surely appreciated. The breakfast was not fancy, but helpful, as food is scarce in the area, especially early morning and later in the day. Would recommend this home 100%!

We frequent Maui. We visit 2-3 times per year. We own our own rental condo in Kihei. This was a lovely, clean, private, and peaceful retreat at the beginnning of the road to Hana. We had an extra day, so took the opportunity to stay somewhere new. The property is beautiful-full of palms and fruit trees. Cute common areas with some ocean views off the balconies. I would highly recommend this B&B

If you're looking for a place literally on the Road to Hana, this was perfect. Beautiful property and view (can see water, feels tropical), great shared spaces but also felt incredibly private. Amazing shower in our room. Adequate breakfast. Would stay again if looking in this area

The property is nicer than it appeared on the listing. If you like comfort and privacy in a great location, this is a great spot. We found we preferred to get food from local restaurants and food trucks and take it ‘home’ to enjoy in the comfort of our deck. The hosts were excellent and very caring. We will certainly return.

Checking in went smoothly and a beautiful spacious room with ocean view was waiting for us. We really enjoyed our stay and also loved the home grown fruit.

It was not easy to find but once we found it it was a very nice place. We stayed for 11 nights. There was no place to wash our clothes we had to drive for a while. The host and wife was very nice. There was not much to do around there so we felt we drove a lot. But over all it is a nice place.

An amazing property in an amazing location! Host was kind and had great communication. Breakfast self serve from fridge. Located super close to Paia town so perfect place to stay to explore smaller towns and start the road to Hana one day while you’re here.

This was such a wonderful place to stay. The was amazing and the room was very spacious. We especially liked the walk in shower. The grounds around the home were so colorful and it was great to see rainbows. We would stay here again.

Beautiful property with a lush green garden, you can even see the ocean. No restaurants or shops in walking distance but therefore quiet surroundings. Breakfast (granola, fruits, bagles, cream cheese...) is provided 24/7 (self-serving).
You got your own bedroom and bathroom but share the kitchen and living room with other guests, so you can share your experience and ask about things to do. Good starting point for the road to Hana or to go for the Haleakala summit.
