Nestled in Coeur dAlene, this lovely condo for $120 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. This studio apartment is located in one of the nicest neighborhoods in the Couer d' Alene area. It is one block from Sanders Beach, very close to Tubbs Hill Natural Area, about l0 blocks to the center of downtown and one block from the Ironman Triathlon course. The studio apartment is situated above the garage of our private residence. It has an outside stairway private entrance. There is private outside parking directly next to the studio. Everything in the studio is spotlessly clean, cozy and very livable. Wifi is included. The double size Murphy bed is made with a Sealy Posturepedic mattress for comfort and down blankets for the winter..If you do not know what a Murphy bed is please go to the 'Photos' portion of the website and you will see how a Murphy bed just comes down out of the wooden structure to lay on the floor with a mattress and box springs within the Murphy Bed!! My stay in Couer d'Alene was so wonderful. The apartment was centrally located in a great neighborhood only one block from the lake and an easy walk to hike Tubbs. The owners were friendly and kind and the apartment was immaculate and comfortable. I highly recommend a stay here and will look to reserve it when I come back in town to visit my family.

We found the guest space above the garage to be clean and in a great location. The Murphy bed was quite comfortable & the twin sleeper chair worked well for my 18 yr old. We were missing sheets for the twin, but hopefully those will be added for future guests. Overall good spot for one or two people.

I would strongly recommend this property. It was very clean, all accommodations were provided, check in was easy, and communication from the hosts was very helpful. The room was cozy, welcoming and quaint, a little alcove in the middle of a lush tree filled neighborhood, the neighborhood was beautiful and safe, and the VRBO was only one block from a large, scenic lake and a beach area, as well as being a short drive from a natural park and trails with easy access to restaurants and other natural attractions.. I stayed here while running the Coeur d'Alene Half Marathon, and the start was a short drive from this place. As a solo female traveler, I felt safe and comfortable in this location, and would strongly recommend this gem to anyone!

Fantastic Location!
The studio apartment was in a fantastic location. It was clean, well organized and looked exactly as pictured. Cute neighborhood, walking distance to many places. The layout of the apartment worked well and was plenty big enough for the two of us. The kitchen has everything you need. Check in went smoothly (I received emails and texts from Zach) and he responded quickly to my questions. It was my first time in CDA and this cozy apartment helped to make my visit extra special! i highly recommend staying here!!

This was my first visit to Coeur d'Alene and I couldn't be more pleased with my stay! This place is just one block from the lake and cute little Sanders Beach. There are beach chairs available for you to bring down to the beach. I highly recommend the short 1 minute walk to check it out.
The place is also super convenient to town. We rented bikes for the 5 days of our stay and could easier bike to town! We biked to lunch and dinner (loved Crafted, Honey Eatery, and Whispers - the bar at the Resort). It was an easy bike ride to the Tubb's Hill hike which I highly recommend!! Another day we biked to Riverstone area and enjoyed brunch at Le Peep and dinner at Bardenay. That's a longer ride, but worth it!
But enough about the area - the stay was perfect. The place is a studio apartment above the garage of the owner's home. There is a private entry stairway and a parking spot in the driveway. My partner is 6'4 and had a hard time getting in and out of it because it rests low to the ground. The kitchen is completely set up with everything you need - dishes, glasses, cookware, silverware, coffee maker, etc! The bathroom shower is a little tight, but all in all, everything you need is there! I would definitely stay here again!

Perfect little gem for two
We stayed here for 6 nights while I waited to participate in the Coeur d'Alene Ironman. Location was great, right along the run course, made it quite easy for my husband to go and have a nap during the day and then wait for and watch me during the run section of the race. Easy walk to downtown, with all the restaurants and shops. Darilyn and Paul were fantastic hosts, and incredibly helpful. The studio had everything you could want, it was very well maintained and looked after. We could not have asked for a better place to stay. Would definitely stay there again.

Best kept secret in Coeur d' Alene!
My wife and I are very picky where we stay. We want the best deal for the best price. Tubbs Hill Studio was just that. Location is everything. The lake is a block away with a very cool trail into town that winds around the mountain; with lake in view the whole time. The studio is quiet and cozy and situated in the nicest, safest neighborhood in Coeur d' Alene. It's a perfect place for two! The owners are really awesome people.

Perfect get-away
I am a sucker for clean/ upscale/inviting /well maintained/ CHARMING studio stays. The space is lovely and all the appointments; bath towels,bed linens, kitchen wares and coffee maker, made me realize how much upgrading I need to do at my own house! I felt as though I was staying at a resort. The gardens surrounding the home of Darilyn and Paul were ablaze with color and fragrance. Fun to sit outside in the am and have coffee surrounded by all that beauty. Easy walk to the beach and wonderfully quiet and lovely neighborhood. Darilyn is a good communicator, and easy to work with. All paper work and $$'s easily managed. I hope to return---my stay there was delightful. Thanks so much Darilyn and Paul!

Could not get much better!!
Very clean, well maintained studio! Kitchen comes stocked with every tool one would need to cook, even some spices. All you need is the food. A great way to stay in Coeur d'Alene. Walking, bike riding...everything within easy reach. So nice to come "home" to a quiet well appointed place. Definitely would recommend anyone going Coeur d'Alene to stay here.

Much nicer than a hotel!
This studio apartment is in a great location in a very nice neighborhood. The property is 1 block from a public beach, less than a mile walk to the downtown area, and a few blocks from the Tubbs Hill Trailhead. The rental had everything we needed for our stay and was very clean and cozy. The owners were very easy to work with. We hope to come back and stay again!

Comfortable studio in beautiful neighborhood
This is a nicely done and very clean studio apartment over a garage in a lovely neighborhood. The property is just a block from Sanders beach. We enjoyed walking in the neighborhood, beautiful historic homes right along Coeur d'Alene Lake, friendly people out walking, swimming, paddling, etc. The apartment itself is very comfortable, including the Murphy bed. Owners are great to work with. North Idaho is beautiful and offers wonderful recreation opportunities. We also enjoyed walking the waterfront, beach and park area over by the Resort.

Cozy, Clean, and Perfect Location
This little studio is just perfect for two. Ok, so there's not a lot of space here, but much more than a hotel room, plus you get a well equipt, nearly full-sized kitchen. The pictures make the place look dated, but don't be fooled the green carpet is actually really nice and everything looks brand new. The home sits in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood with mature trees and wonderful gardens, and only a couple of minutes walk to the public beach. We stayed here in August and the weather was perfectly hot, but the nice quiet AC unit kept the studio comfortable. We will definitely be back!

A great place to stay for two people
We really enjoyed our stay in this cute little studio, very clean , lots of storage. Everything you need, shopping nearby can walk downtown. Close to many activities. We are avid golfers with many courses close by. Well worth a trip to Wallace and cycle the Hiawatha Trail. The owners are very pleasant, and knowledgeable about the area. We have be coming to this area for years, wish we had found this place earlier instead of staying in a hotel. We have visited twice this Summer and will definately be going back next year.

Execellent place. Everything was so clean. Kitchen had all the necessary items for cooking and eating. My wife and I had a great time.
The beach just a block away. I had a good time jogging around Tubbs Hill, great trails with nice views of the lake. Downtown is so close.
I liked that the parking was right next to the stairs to our room.

Great stay!
My wife and I stayed here for Ironman Coeur D'Alene 2012. The owners are very friendly. The home is in a lovely neighborhood... close to a beach and lakefront hiking. The studio has a full kitchen and plenty of storage space. The studio is 1/2 a block from a pretty section of the run course. We enjoyed our stay and hope to return.

Tubbs Hill Studio Review
The listing explanation was accurate and the photos clearly reflected the studios description. The studio and grounds were clean and the location was perfect for riding bikes into downtown, walking along the beach and going for a jog on the centennial trail close by. The owner responded to our questions in a timely manner and I would recommend this property to a couple staying in town for a few nights or for an entire week. The Murphy bed was comfortable too. We enjoyed our stay.
