Formerly La Bonne Vie, SMOOTH SAILING has been meticulously furnished with a modern coastal feel, and the only beauty that competes with the interior is the spectacular views from your private oceanfront balcony. You'll be able to enjoy quiet afternoons with those balmy Key West breezes wafting through the floor-to-ceiling glass doors from the living room, and sunrise shadows from your bedroom balconies in the morning. This home is located in an upscale private community within walking or biking distance to all of your favorite Key West spots, including beaches, restaurants, shopping, and the beautiful waters surrounding the island. You'll be hard pressed to find a more stunning mix of upscale furnishings and water views than SMOOTH SAILING. THE LIVING AREA... The living room of SMOOTH SAILING is modern and bright, with plenty of light streaming in from the floor-to-ceiling glass doors. There's a large flat screen TV, for those times you aren't marveling at the breathtaking Key West sunsets from your private balcony. The living room sofa pulls out into a Queen sleeper to accommodate two extra guests. The kitchen has everything a good chef would need to prepare any meal. There's a dining table for six when you decide to heat leftovers and stay in. Your dining set on the balcony is the ultimate sunset dinner locale. THE POOL, THE BEACH & TENNIS... 1800 Atlantic offers Resort-style amenities, including an extra large Community Pool right downstairs. There are chaise lounges surrounding the pool for your comfort, and a cabana with restrooms for your convenience. Please note this is a shared pool with set rules, such as no music and no coolers. We ask that our guests be mindful of their neighbors and respect the rules. From the pool, there's a walking path that leads to the on-site beach. The on-site beach offers a relaxing setting, with chaise lounges and soft sand. There is no direct water access from this beach, but Smathers Beach, Key West's largest public beach, is located within walking distance right next door. There is also an oversized Jacuzzi and a picnic area with BBQs available for guest use. You'll also have access to the newly built fitness center and Key West's only clay tennis courts, both located on-site. THE ACCOMMODATIONS... ** Master Bedroom: a King bed, a large flat screen TV, direct access to the balcony, and an oversized shower. ** Second Bedroom: Two Twin beds OR One King bed, a flat screen TV, direct access to the balcony, and access to the full second bathroom. Groups who expect they may cause after hours noise will not be a good fit for this home and should be aware they may incur additional penalties when in residence for violations. There will be a $500 charge for after-hours dispatch of our staff in response to calls resulting from verified noise complaints for violations by our guests in residence.

Very clean condo with fabulous view. Christian made it easy to park and move in and even brought a pie the only thing that could have improved the experience was longer pool and hot tub hours. We were informed about the dawn to dusk rule before we rented so no surprise just would have liked more time.

My husband and kids and I stayed at this property this past December and we had an amazing time. The condo was exceptionally clean and had all of the necessities we needed, and then some. The check-in was smooth as well as the checkout. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

This was a great place to stay!! Very Clean and set up right!. The Views were fabulous, the beds were comfortable and the master shower was fantastic!!. There was also coffee and some of the basic spices which are always very helpful. Would definitely recommend and would stay again.

Condo was exactly as described. The pictures didn't do this place justice. We were extremely happy. If I was searching for a complaint I would say the pool rules need to be relaxed (sun up to dawn). The hours aren't long enough. People were sneaking out to the hot tub. I'm guessing this is because most of the owners are cranky old people. Though we had no bad encounters with owners or security. Place was really amazing.

The condo was immaculately clean and well appointed! The property management company was super helpful providing us with restaurant suggestions, and they even booked an excursion for our entire group when we were having trouble doing so ourselves. We will definitely return to Key West and look to stay at Smooth Sailing again!

We enjoyed our stay at Key West. When we entered the condo, it first didn’t seem that it was going to be what we hoped for. The outside is a bit dated and the hallway carpet is disgusting. However, once we saw our condo on the inside and the view from our balcony, we didn’t care or notice the ugly stained carpet in the hallway. The pool was fantastic, never crowded, and the view of the ocean was wonderful. The condo was modern decor with all the amenities you will need. The beds were amazing, the master shower was huge and the instant hot water heater was wonderful! Christian took care of us from Last Key Realty! He was helpful and gave us many suggestions for dining. They even offered to store our luggage after we checked out since our flight did not leave until evening. Overall this was a 6 star review, and we would love to go and stay at Smooth Sailing again!

The overall property was great. The pool was large and always well maintained. The unit was even larger than expected and had two pull out couches in the living room with comfortable mattresses! The only negative is that it is a few miles from most restaurants so if you don’t like longer walks (which we didn’t mind) you would want to have a vehicle or grab a Lyft. Even the Lyft was convenient. Since the unit is so close to the airport, we never had to wait more than 3 minutes to get picked up! We would definitely stay here again.

This condo was beautiful and extremely clean. The kitchen had everything you needed to be able to cook. We ended up renting bikes for our stay and left our car in the parking garage. Most of the restaurants were about 2 miles away—biking was a fun and easy way to get around without having to try to find a parking spot, would highly recommend! Only downfall was the beach that was the closest to us had a ton of seaweed currently, so we biked to one that was a little further away and had no issue there! We loved our stay and would absolutely recommend staying. Both beds were very comfortable. The host even left us a key lime pie in the fridge as a welcome gift.

My group of four (2 adults and 2 older teenagers) had a wonderful 5-day stay at this property. The unit has a beautiful ocean view, and is conveniently located within walking distance of swimmable beaches. The pool at the condo association is very well maintained and suitable for lap swimming as well as playing around. The layout of the unit is comfortable and it is well appointed with everything you need for cooking and doing laundry. The condo property houses a mix of owners and short-term renters, and everyone we encountered was very friendly. The management company, Last Key, is efficient and accurate with their communication. I highly recommend it!

The unit is lovely - well equipped and inviting. The view is beautiful, pool large and residents friendly. We had an issue with one of the bedrooms that Last Key responded to quickly and I expect is now resolved. The only reason for a 4/5 review. Otherwise would surely recommend for a visit. Easy to get to town and a lovely walk just outside down Smathers beach.

Smooth Sailing is a spacious and very well appointed renovated condominium apartment that definitely lived up to our expectations. It has a great balcony with unobstructed ocean views. We enjoyed our stay there and would highly recommend.

Generously provide some essentials but cooking and dishes are just the basics...no place-mats or table cloths, minimal dishtowels, minimal serving dishes. Some spices, plenty of vinegar but no oil...Just not well equipped for cooking/eating in is why we rated a 4 of 5. PM fixed an issue with toaster oven. Wine/beverage fridge did not work.

Although we are in our 50’s we still enjoy a little fun at the pool - this pool was like being at a nursing home. No music - ear buds only. I was enjoying watching two baby iguanas and a condo owner walked over and told me “sorry- I’m running them off” I get that they eat the foliage but it was just plain rude. Will not be staying here again although the condo was clean - just no fun to be had at this particular property.

Fun Times in Key West
Smooth Sailing is a great condo. The layout was perfect for my family. Beautiful view. Perfect view of fireworks from our balcony which was a fun surprise. 10 minute golf cart ride to anything in Key West. Parking was easy as well.
