Nestled in Key West, this charming condo for $729 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. MAR Y Sol is a Beautiful 3 Bedroom Two and a half Bath ocean-front condominium at 1800 Atlantic. Enjoy the balmy breezes from your 60 foot private wrap around balcony with a fabulous view of the Atlantic ocean. Mar Y Sol has renovated kitchen and bathrooms. Mar y Sol is in high demand so during we take rentals from a Saturday to Saturday only during high season which is basically December through April. If gaps appear we will take shorter stays and fill the gaps The historic district is less than 1.5 miles away. You are literally 1 minutes walk from our amazing pool and bubbling Jacuzzi, we even had a sauna onsite. For the Tennis enthusiast we have the only clay court on the island of key west. Stay with us and you will be back. Minimum length of stay will vary throughout the year.

We stayed here for four magical days! The property itself and the condo were just as described if not more beautiful. I wish whoever cleans these rooms and grounds could come do my house, it was immaculate with every amenity thought of. Contact with the staff was immediate and thorough. I would love to stay here again!

We rented apartment A101 at 1800 Atlantic Avenue in key West. We enjoyed our stay very much. The apartment was large and has a lovely view. The negatives are dishwasher which needs repair, the low water pressure in both bathrooms, the lack of enough drinking glasses and the living room couches which are ripping and should be replaced. We liked the pool and hot tub and the apartment was clean and tidy.

Phenomenal stay in a large beautiful condo with amazing views!

We stayed here in mid July 2023. This was during a brutal heat wave in Florida. The property was very nice, however, the ceiling fan in the master bdr was shaking and we were concerned it might fall. Also, the floor fans which were in the closet were broken. We contacted property management the first morning and they were out the same morning to replace both the ceiling fan and floor fans. Very responsive! Thanks for a great stay for our family!

Close to ocean but a lot of seaweed and smell. Didn’t use. Nice pool area. View of pool and ocean. Difficult check in process. It would be a long walk for elderly folks unless you can park in garage. Only one car can park in garage. Dated furniture and decor. Floors were dirty. Comfortable beds. Large condo for families. Can only leave 2 loads of laundry or they charge. Had to do laundry. Dryer does not dry quickly. I recommend cleaning staff take all towels and sheets to wash with bleach. Don’t rely on guests getting them clean and sanitized.

This property is located in the first level. View is amazing but we couldn’t sit outside without being eaten alive by what locals call “no see ems” Tiny black bugs that leave itchy bumps (ours lasted almost 3 weeks!) It was miserable. Also, if you open the curtains to look at the view the rooms gets hot very fast. AC controlled by property management so can’t try to cool off inside. So with no view and not able to sit outside made this trip not so great. I recommend keep looking before you book this one.

Great views and great (quiet) location with easy access to Uber/Lyft drivers. Huge porch overlooking the pool area on the side and the ocean to the rear made this an ideal location to relax and enjoy the views.Beds were comfortable and kitchen was well-stocked. Living room furniture could use a bit of an upgrade, but who wants to spend much time in there anyway.

Loved the 3B/3B condo right on the ocean. It is impossible to stay any closer to the water unless you are on a houseboat. The condos are a bit older, but pretty well kept, and built like a fortress. Our condo was perfect for our group of 6, with 3 sizeable bedrooms and a full size kitchen and large living area. TV's worked great. Also a very nice large wraparound patio, but there may be issues with small bugs (no-see-ems) that are ankle biters. Also, the sun comes pouring in from the east of course, so the condo is pretty bright and warm in the morning. Loved the large pool and hot tub, which were very well kept. There are several tennis courts that are in really good shape. Also, the condo is a 5-minute walk from Smather's Beach, which was REALLY nice and not too crowded. Be sure to note that this condo is on the West side; we tried the East at checkin and couldn't find it. And the condo, being on the water, is a long interior walk from the elevator. The owner and property mgr were fine to deal with so no issues there. Highly recommend this condo!

Ideal
We loved our stay in Key West and would definitely rent this condo again. The condo was well appointed with beautiful views from the bedrooms and the lanai. We were very near Duval Street and all the restaurants, sightseeing, and activity spots, but far enough away that we were not bothered by crowds or noise when we got home. We loved the pool, hot tub, library and work out facilities on site. It was an ideal vacation home.

Nice place, but missing a lot of essentials.
The amenities and location are nice. Plenty of room for everyone, lots of towels provided, beautiful pool, large balcony, wonderful view and grounds. Issue with dryer was resolved quickly. Designated garage parking space was very convenient to the elevator.
Check in was confusing as the building has 2 sides/wings. We had to figure out that our place was on the eastern side/wing.
Here are the some things that could have been better:
The basic essentials were missing. We booked for 1 week and were provided with 1 trash bag that was too small for the trash can, 1 tide pod for laundry and no shampoo. It made it difficult after traveling from California and N Carolina. The 1 tide pod was very disappointing especially with the checkout instructions … we were instructed to wash all linens and leave only 2 loads for the cleaners. There was mold on the master bathroom pocket door; beds were sagging and uncomfortable; no hangers were provided. And lastly, the kitchen needs more utensils (only 2 steak knives), pots and pans were worn so food kept sticking to them. Also, there was no where to hang damp beach and bath towels for drying (we used the backs of chairs)
On our one day of rest, the facility had to do repairs to the column right below our balcony. We were not informed prior. The noise from the jack hammer vibrated every single room of the building. We called the property management, but the repairs still continued throughout the rest of the day.
Lastly, the SMELL, oh the smell. We noticed that the side of the island that the property is located has a lot of the brown seaweed (Sargassum). The smell from the rotting seaweed was unbearable at times. We did have 1 day of relief when the wind blew out to sea.
On the drive home, we all shared our feedback amongst one another and decided to give the place a 2 star rating overall. I’d say, it was definitely not worth the amount we paid.

Very nice unit, plenty of space for everyone, easy access to pool area. Parking space is right beside the entrance which makes it easy for carrying in luggage/groceries etc. Easy walk to Smathers Beach. Great little corner Cuban sandwich and coffee shop just down the street. Will agree with other posts regarding the smell in June. It is pretty intolerable, so did not get to enjoy the porch. Property is under some maintenance, but did not interrupt our stay.

Great location. Grounds were kept up nice with a nice pool. Linens and pillows need a definite upgrade. Keeping the air at 75 is a little warm at night also. I am pointing things out that need improvement, but overall the place is just what we wanted as far as ocean view and location. Great porch.

We were trying to play some music while BBQing at 5 in the evening and were told to turn it off. Really!! It wasn't loud and It was just classic rock music nothing volger. Security was to strict, but didn't say anything to the kids yelling by the pool till 11 PM. I would highly recommend for those people who just want to do nothing and go to bed at 9. Otherwise I would recommend a more younger resort. Had a great time otherwise.

Our family rented this condo for our vacation in July 2015. We were all disappointed with the overall condition of the condo. Although it had a great location and view, it's condition and cleanliness cast a shadow over our entire vacation. The white linoleum floor, although white, had so much dirt in its grooves that it constantly made the bottoms of our feet black. I couldn't believe the floor was doing this until I watched my clean feet turn black after walking around inside. We were all shocked by this. The floor needs to be replaced. It just makes you feel dirty to walk around. The linens (towels, sheets) are dingy, stained, and mismatched. The comforters need to be washed, they just smelled dirty. We just felt like the linens were severely used and then thrown into a rental condo. Although the kitchen was well-stocked, the dish cabinets look like a thrift store shelf. There was an overall shabby feeling with the walls needing paint, doors scratched up, nasty, rusty toilet brushes and plungers left beside toilets that need a good cleaning, especially behind and around toilets. Sponges by the kitchen sink were so old, we bought new ones. There were too many shockingly unfixed and uncleaned areas for this condo to feel like a "vacation home." Pool, location, and view were great. I wish the interior of the condo had been in better condition.

The balcony, which wraps all the way around the condo, is unbelievable. Perfect for a group of people to all be able to enjoy the view at once. I can't say great things about the management company who operates this condo, though. Very rude at check-in and when we called after check-in for a few follow-up calls. Also lots of ants on the patio and even inside the kitchen. An exterminators was in the process of taking care of it, so I'm not sure if this is a regular issue or not. If you can handle the less-than-friendly management and the possibility of ants around, we recommend this location for sure.

It was ok. We weren't very happy with the construction right outside our room, I understand it but it stirred up a lot of bugs. The room was ok, air doesn't cool the bedrooms very well. We were VERY unhappy with one of the security guards at the pool. We were there every day with our radio playing, not loudly, and not one tenant or security guard ever had a problem until our last day. The guard, I believe his name was Curt, gave us a really hard time. Told us to turn it off, at which time all the people around us complained and said to turn it back on. He said to turn it on quietly, so we did, and he reached down and took the ipod off the player, at which time he and one of the guys with us, to whom the ipod belonged, had words. He then sat at the side of the pool and stared at us the entire time. There are no rules listed anywhere about no music or radios, and it was not loud. We finally left because it was so uncomfortable and we couldn't have any fun. We come to Key West every year, usually for about 2 weeks and next time we come we will not be staying here.

When we were there, there was a 20' wide collection of kelp, debris and sea slugs to wade through to get in water. Just worth asking about if you care for the beach access.
