Newly remodeled but upkeep not good.
No closet, the light and fan in bath were connected. Very noisy at night. TV limited. Had to ask for remote replacement twice.
The bed frame was squeaky.
Only 2 pillows. Had to ask for more.

The place is a typical motel just off a highway, next to other motels and fast food and sit down restaurants. It was convenient to get to and next to a gas station. The are is quiet. The room was larger than expected with a big TV, a microwave oven, a refrigerator and a desk.
It appears a bit run down. The pool is near the entrance and it was drained of water. The TV remote worked inconsistently. In the morning, it took about 10 minutes for the water to flow warm in the shower.

Price, location
Close to late night places to eat and not far from the border.
Cons: non welcoming front desk lady. Squeaky bed, people having sex next door, load AC,
She didnt say hello, she just angry rudely pointly to the side window. I gave my name for the reservation and she asked something. I said 3 times I can't hear her behind the glass. I finally just handed the obvious ID and credit card. She never smiled or even told me my room number or where it was located. I just drove for 14hrs and driving another 14hrs the next day. Its not the way I like to be treated as a guest.
I won't stay there again and just rather stay in Mexicali where it's cheaper and far better hotels.
