Beautiful spot, lovely room and view, decent value Nice to have a microwave and fridge. I didn't remember the microwave being noted in the listing - I recommend adding that if it isn't already there! Very close to lovely beaches. Clean, comfortable, and luxuriously spacious.
Major construction at the gas station next store. Not active during the weekend, but still a surprising feature. Generator/building noises from next door businesses obscured the ocean sounds, even when traffic was light. Bummed to have to close the windows at night due to noise. Very bright outdoor lights; blackout shades somewhat helped. No responses to 2 msgs sent via Booking.com. Absolutely no flexibility for late checkout - after a nice stay, I was sad to feel more like a commodity than a guest.

Great historical building, beautifully renovated, staff were very helpful and room was huge with all details covered.
Based upon the price bracket I believe that the positives well outweighed any negatives.

Beautiful hotel. Rooms were large and comfortable.
The staff accused us of smoking in the room and threatened to call the police. In the lobby there was a scent of marijuana. The clerk assumed it was coming from our room. Although we don't smoke they persisted it was us.
We felt harrassed and unsafe. We checked out and went to another hotel. We were not refunded for early checkout.
