Brentwood Suites Nashville, an Ascend Collection Hotel

Convenient location travelling by car with easy free parking right in the property. Easy access to main highways but not too close to bother you with traffic noise. Very friendly staff including the manager on duty the day we checked in. We arrived around 13:30 and our room was not available due to internet/system problems but the front desk attendant was able to check us in around 14:30, she was very nice about it. Official check in is 16:00 but we had requested early check in during our reservation with no promises they could comply. The room was very comfortable with a king bed and small sitting area with sofa. Very clean room and bathroom. Toiletries were somewhat limited but no big deal. I am sure we could have requested more soap and shampoo if we really needed it. Our only complaint was the WiFi was not working inside our room, which did not affect us since our phones worked fine with data. I assume they were having internet issues during our stay. I never asked since it did not affect me, we were there for vacation and not work. The breakfast was acceptable, not great but sufficient choices. We were there two mornings and they served the same items both days. We have had better and worse during other hotel stays all over the USA and overseas. The hotel is about a 15 minutes drive to downtown Nashville during non-rush hours. For us it was very good value for this trip since we had a car and paid much less than staying in the Nashville downtown hotels and not having to deal with parking and extra fees that are being charged in those hotels. Brentwood seems like a very nice and clean community and the hotel area is quiet and with good appearance.

Breakfast choices were the same two consecutive days. No big deal. The WiFi did not work for me inside our room. No problem since I was not there doing any PC work that would have needed better access to the internet. Our cell phones with unlimited data worked just fine.

Easy location to everything we did. Broadway. Franklin. Radnor Lake.

Noisy property. Could hear everyone in the halls. Elevator was slow and only one by the front doors.
