Situated in Galiano Island, this charming house for $268 per night is a great option for your next trip. This lovely west facing ocean side home commands spectacular views of the ocean. Meander down a few steps to the warmest swimming beach on Salt Spring. Enjoy spectacular sunsets from the large deck. This home sits on a 1/2 acre surrounded by a mature apple orchard, providing total privacy. There are three bedrooms, two bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen, separate dining room, living room with wood burning fireplace and french doors that open onto a large deck, washer/dryer, all bedding and towels supplied. All located in the desirable neighbourhood of Vesuvius Bay. Salt Spring is the largest of the Gulf Islands and is an ideal vacation destination. From May to October, the town of Ganges hosts the famous Saturday outdoor market where you can buy arts and crafts, farm-fresh vegetables, island-made cheeses, and homemade treats. On Salt Spring you can also enjoy fishing, golfing, tennis, hiking, ocean kayaking, vineyards, a brewery, a cidery and a new recreation centre. The cottage is an 8 minute drive from Ganges, the heart of Salt Spring Island, where visitors can enjoy restaurants, pubs, and art galleries. This home had everything we needed for a wonderful family week together. Sunsets over the ocean, beach access, sitting on the sunny deck, and cooking meals in the best stocked kitchen we’ve ever seen in a rental. Fabulous five star cottage!

The photos do not do this property justice. My mom and I stayed here with mother/daughter friends of ours. We all absolutely loved it. The view and location is spectacular. The home is beautifully maintained and decorated. The kitchen is very well stocked. My only teeny request for improvement is better pillows in the second and third bedrooms (the master bedroom linens were excellent). We will be back!

I stayed in this lovely ocean front cottage for 4 nights and had a great time. We loved the location and enjoyed walking to the neighbourhood restaurant on our arrival evening. The kitchen was well stocked and made meal prep easy. The beds were very comfortable and we enjoyed the fireplace as well as tv and ping pong table. Would love to return!

We were a family group of 4 adults. The home was beautifully decorated and with the most amazing water views from the main floor. Very light and airy. Enjoyed the log burner for cozy evenings. Very comfortable beds and high quality linens and furnishings. Wonderful large deck outside was a highlight as we were fortune to have a sunny March weekend. .Few mins from Vesuvius ferry. Excellent amenities. Highly recommend!

The private beach is beautiful and we live in Hawaii so the fireplace was a huge hit! The view was amazing , quiet and beautiful, I love the solarium for meals the whole feel of the home is so comfortable. Lots of firewood. Covered parking easy access. The only suggestion I have is make the downstairs more cozy. Put an electric fireplace just fix the TV area up so it's a little more cozy. Other then that loved it, Salt Spring and all the gulf Islands. We will be back. We loved coming in the winter NO CROWDS.

We have been lucky enough to stay here several times and have enjoyed it each time! A beautiful house and a perfect place to spend a few days with family and friends. The kitchen is well-equipped, the decor is tasteful, and the tv and ping pong table downstairs are much appreciated.
