The newly constructed home, designed by architect Lars Langberg, blends stunning modern designs inspired by the classic Sonoma bungalow. High vaulted ceilings, designer lighting, and open floor plans create spacious and comfortable living-spaces. Eco-sustainable features — solar power, LED lights, zonal heating & cooling - add an exciting and timely dimension to the home. The living room with Danish Modern decor, and art by Marin artist Justyna Wilmore, has ample seating for groups to play games around the large table, or enjoy shows on the floating flat screen TV. A sparkling and spacious chef's kitchen offers a professional quality Bertazzoni range & speed oven, an island bar with plug-ins for laptops, and a large mid century modern dining table. A wall of windows open up the kitchen and dining area to the deck and views of the mediterranean garden and pergola. The main floor bedroom opens to decks overlooking the garden and Spa pool. The master bedroom and loft upstairs have large windows overlooking the lush trees by the creek and the large garden. You can BBQ and dine on the spacious deck, relax on the comfortable chairs and couches by the gas fire table. Enjoy the flush deck spa pool with a waterfall, mood lights and bar table with stools. While looking at the big night sky and you can listen to the flowing creek as you soak and enjoy a water jet massage. My family of 5 spent a wonderful 2 days at Luna Lodge. The house is gorgeous! The furnishings are all great quality. The beds were super comfortable and the kitchen is really well stocked. Absolutely loved the ambiance of the backyard. Even though it was raining on and off, just watching the rain while we were cozy inside was a treat.
Downtown Sonoma is just 10 minutes away and there are several good wineries close by for wine tasting
Will definitely come back again.

We stayed with friends as we were all here to celebrate a wedding. This house was the perfect retreat and made the weekend perfect. Both the property owner and manager went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of. The back yard especially is exquisite.

Absolutely loved our stay here! The house is beautiful and the backyard oasis was such a treat. Linda left very detailed instructions for everything and also reached out to ensure we were enjoying our stay which was such a nice touch. I wish we could have stayed longer!!!

Fantastic experience in a beautiful home
This was the perfect getaway for our group of six celebrating birthdays - and surprise! - an engagement. The house was absolutely beautiful, clean and the gorgeous view in the backyard that combines the modern house with rustic elements couldn't be beat. We were also minutes away from several wineries, which made tastings very accessible. We absolutely loved this house and would recommend it without hesitation. Many thanks to the hosts!

Wonderful home and great owners
Four of us spent 4 wonderful nights in Glen Ellen and would highly recommend this home.
The owners were great, the home is very updated and comfortable, and the back deck and yard back up to the Sonoma River with a hot tub and a fire pit. A couple great restaurants in easy walking distance ( < 1/2 mile ) were added bonus. Highly recommended !

Great place in Sonoma valley
We had a family vacation here and enjoyed the ambiance of the house and little village of Glen Ellen. Even though it poured down rain while we stayed the house was so accommodating we didn't mind. Yes, I'd definitely recommend this house.

Beautiful modern home in the heart of wine country
Access was very simple and we were impressed how new and clean the house was. Decorating is very tasteful and the house is well equipped. The location is convenient for Glen Ellen, Sonoma and even Napa. We would definitely go back to this home.

Spectacular house
Luna Lodge was absolutely perfect for a girls weekend. The house is truly better than the pictures. It felt like our own private oasis with the beautiful backyard and hot tub. Plenty of room for 7 of us. We made great meals in the well stocked kitchen, enjoyed the hot tub, cocktails and appetizers in the spacious living room. We loved being within walking distance to a couple great restaurants, the Jack London Saloon, wineries, and the market, which has everything you need for a foodie meal. We would stay here again in a heart beat and recommend it to anyone!

Hits the spot!
This was our first visit to Luna Lodge, but hopefully won't be our last. The property is even better in real life than it is in photos. Enjoy the lickedy-spilt stroll to food and wine in "downtown" Glen Ellen or just chillax and get your zen on in the well-tended back yard. Spacious, clean and user-friendly, Luna Lodge is a super spot for a couples' get-away or a family vacation. Our sincere thanks to our hosts and their caretakers.

Great property, perfect for dogs and family!
We had great time enjoying the property and the town of Glenn Ellen. Landscape and fenced yard were perfect for our dogs and they enjoyed the dog friendly town and wineries. Hope to have a reason to book the property again soon.
Two observations, there were ants in the downstair bathroom and bedroom, as well as upstairs bath. Second, there were no instructions for leaving property (what to do with bedding, towels, etc. start dishwasher, thermostat ect.). We did the best we could, but always like to know what property managers would prefer.

Fantastic house!
My family and I had a two night stay at this wonderful oasis in May 2016. The house is very tastefully decorated, clean and fully appointed. The backyard is a fantastic oasis with a Jacuzzi, creek and lovely seating areas throughout. It is on a quiet cul-de-sac that was ideal for walking my dog. I would recommend this house in a heartbeat. It gets an absolute 10 out of 10!

We had a fantastic stay. House tip top. Yard spacious and great to relax listening to the creek. 3 minutes walk to Main Street with restaurant, tasting rooms etc.

Great Getaway Place
We enjoyed that house for 2 nights. It was a great experience. Close to number of wineries, restaurants, walking trails at the same time private and quite. The place was very inviting and had everything you might need. The outdoor hot tub was a treat! The house is tastefully furnished and decorated. We will not hesitate to book this place again.

Convienent and Relaxing
Our family had a fantastic time at Luna Lodge. The house has plenty of room and all the amenities of home. The backyard is a little paradise in itself which unfortunately we were not able to enjoy due to returning late after enjoying the area (we'll definitely take advantage of this during our next stay) . The property is convenient to everything. The owners were great and left us some coupons for wine tasting and a nice treat for the evening. As mentioned in the other reviews, the grocery store is fantastic ( olive bar, prepared foods, cheese, and on and on). Everything you can imagine in such a nice friendly atmosphere. We grabbed a burger and some beers at the saloon which was like an old saloon minus the swinging doors. Very cool and great burger! The property is very convenient and within walking distance to a couple wine tastings and restaurants. Another great place nearby is Aventine. They brew their own beer and although we didn't eat there the Italian food looked fantastic. You can drive to Sonoma and taste wine at different wineries on the way. The area is beautiful and for us, "Two days was not enough". We will be back! Thanks for having us!
