Leave all your troubles behind because here the only decision you have to make is do I want to sip my beverage at the bar top railing while watching dolphins and pelicans over the crystal blue ocean or walk down just 6 steps onto the beautiful white sand beach. Paradise Found!! Are you tired of being disappointed with rental properties? We sure are and this is why our goal is to exceed expectations. If you are looking for a home that is actually CLEAN, well appointed, with comfortable beds, and has the best views on the island, then you found it! Our guests agree because they keep coming back. 280+ 10 star reviews say it all. This is an allergy friendly 100% pet free home. Absolutely no pets and NO EXCEPTIONS will be made. While we love pets, this strict no pets policy is necessary to maintain the high level of cleanliness our guests expect and appreciate. Surf's Up is the quintessential beach cottage with SPECTACULAR oceanfront views, classic charm and tasteful beach décor throughout. It is the perfect spot to unwind and create memories with friends and family to last a lifetime. Once you stay here, you may be another one of our many guests who can't wait to return! Enjoy relaxing in the spacious living room with a wall of windows offering truly BREATHTAKING views of the ocean. If you happen to get tired of looking at the ocean, there is a 50 inch Roku LED television and Blue Ray DVD player. High speed wireless internet is provided as well. You will appreciate the well equipped kitchen which has everything you will need if you choose to cook here. When you see the views from the kitchen, dining table and bar top railing you may decide you won't want to eat anywhere else. The table seats six and there are three stools around the island. To add to your beach experience, even the dishes and silverware are beach themed. Linens and much more are provided. Bed linens, bath towels, quilts & blankets for the beds, pillows, kitchen linens, paper towels, toilet paper, facial tissues, napkins, garbage bags, hand soap, dish liquid, dishwasher detergent and laundry detergent will all be ready for you at the house. The sheets will be on the beds when you arrive so you can start relaxing right away! Just bring your clothes, beach towels and personal items. Our home features three beautiful bedrooms and two full bathrooms. The master bedroom with a King bed has a 32inch LED television and en-suite bathroom including a large tiled walk in shower with bench. Full sized stacked washer and dryer are located in a closet in the master bedroom. The second bedroom has a Queen bed and the third bedroom has two twin beds. The bathroom in the hall offers a tiled tub/shower. All of the bedrooms have a window with ocean views. Surf's Up is located 2.8 miles north of the Surf City bridge or 5.5 miles south of the Sneads Ferry bridge. Heading north, it is just past the Surf City line in North Topsail Beach. Enjoy all the sounds of the ocean from this quiet setting on a dead end street. We are constantly working to keep our home updated. The kitchen was renovated in January 2023. All new cabinets, granite countertops and glass backsplash. New HVAC was installed in April 2023. New flooring and interior doors were installed throughout the entire home in December 2023. We are able to provide this exceptional level of service and attention to detail because we live here on the island, just a few miles away. The maintenance, cleaning & rental of Surf's Up is our full time job. We are always available to answer questions, address any issues and help in any way. To maintain the home and assure that it is clean and comfortable for all to enjoy NO PETS ARE ALLOWED and there is NO SMOKING OR VAPING permitted inside.

We had a wonderful week at "Surf's Up". Everything was as described online. A fully stocked kitchen was very appreciated especially when you are having thanksgiving dinner. Decorated very nice and even had the same turtle cabinet knobs that I have at home. Very relaxing place, great porch where you just step out onto the sand. We would definitely come back!!

I almost hate to give such a great review because it will make it harder for me to get a week next year. This is our second time there and I wanted to go back to take my elderly mother who thought she'd never get to the beach again. Everything is always perfect. She loved it .

It's hard to put into words the magic that is Surf's Up for our small family. We return multiple times a year and have now lost count of our number of stays at this special place. Becky and her family take immaculate care of the home, and we always find it sparkling clean with new updates that keep it up to date but retain the charm of an old school cottage right on the beach. We have stayed at this property a multitude of times, and the owner steps up her game consistently. In my opinion, the devil is in the details...they have refreshed the bath towels with new ones, changed the simple things like dining room place mats, storage in the bathroom, new charcoal grill and even lighting. The host is consistently on top of things. A recent kitchen reno (2023) brought the place even further up to date! We thoroughly enjoyed our two weeks at the beach!

It was my 4 yo daughters first time at the beach and we couldn't have picked a more perfect place! Close to everything but felt so private. We were able to check in a little early and never had any issues. We would stay again!

We had the perfect week at Surf's Up! The view is absolutely incredible - the pictures don't do it justice. Our girls loved to be able to walk down the stairs from the deck and directly onto the beach. The house was comfortable and clean, and had everything we needed. Becky was a wonderful host - she checked in on us and was able to give recommendations for restaurants and other activities. We have already booked a return trip for next year and can't wait to come back!

A well appointed, well maintained beach home steps from the ocean. The kitchen had everything we needed! Well organized with all you need to prepare and enjoy cooking in! Comfortable open space between kitchen and living area with a wall of windows and sliding door offering wonderful views of the ocean! The entire home was extremely clean and beds and bedding were very comfortable! Outdoor deck with covered area was perfect for morning coffee and afternoon cocktails! Watched the sunrise and dolphins playing in the surf! Our second stay here and we can't wait to go back!

This home in Top Sail is the perfect small family beach bungalow. The home is right on the beach. When you arrive, you step up on to the decking of the home and the first thing you realize is the back decking is over the sand dunes of the beach and you step down from the deck on to the beach! Each cool spring morning of our stay we sat outside on the deck in the high-top chairs and watched the sunrise with a hot cup of coffee completely engulfed in the beauty of the beach. During the morning hours I worked from the deck (Wi-Fi was awesome and no issues at the house and my staff was so jealous as I hosted my staff meeting from the deck with the ocean as my backdrop) or we just enjoyed the beach view all day long from the deck or had our mid-day meals on the decks built in breakfast bar.
The home was clean and came with towels, bedding, some hand and dishwashing soaps, and dish cleaning supplies which was so nice have upon your arrival.
The kitchen had just been refinished beautifully. It was fully stocked which made making meals at the home easy. We enjoy eating at home, so this was an important feature of the house for us and really appreciated having a well-stocked kitchen.
The living space was wide open and looked out to the ocean. The entire back portion of the house was large open windows and sliding glass doors. You could spend the whole day inside but think that you were up on the beach. What great views. In the evening, the large dining table made for great dining and a game table for our evenings of board games and cards. There was a very nice sized TV in the living area and the couch and love seat were comfortable and sat 4 of us easily. We loved the wooded floors throughout the house. It was easy cleaning, and we loved the feel of the hardwood on our feet much better than carpet and the cold hard tiles of other homes we have stayed at.
In the three bedrooms the beds were comfortable and the right mix for our family. The bathrooms were clean and well maintained. Especially liked the large spacious shower in the king bedroom. The built-in bench in this shower made it easier for older parents to use this bathroom.
A well maintained and managed home. The owners were great and very communicative and checking in with us to be sure our stay was going well.
We look forward to staying here again.

Perfect location charming beach house, what else could you ask for? House is updated and tastefully decorated it is equipped with everything you need for your stay. The bed and pillows are heavenly adding to a great stay. The owner is super communicative making the check in seamless. It's right on the ocean with fantastic views across the beach to be able to enjoy the birds and dolphins that swim by. Super clean and comfortable home. Easy check in process and excellent communication with owner. Beach access directly from the home’s back deck. Great location and house for any time of the year. We were there during the middle of winter (January) and still had tons of fun exploring the beach before coming back into the warm heated house. Can’t wait to return during the summer months.

This home is by far one of our top 3 vacation stays. The place is absolutely immaculate and comes well-stocked with anything you might need during your stay - kitchen appliances, beach chairs, extra blankets, etc. The owner communicated well with us leading up to the stay and checked in upon our arrival to be sure everything was up to par. We loved sipping our coffee on the front deck while watching the dolphins leap in the water! We can't wait to come back next year!
