About this campground/ rv resort rental
Your health and safety comes first to us! We are using products approved by the CDC to eradicate any lingering germs, bacteria, and viruses. We are taking extra precautions by ensuring all commonly touched surfaces are wiped down completely. The linens, towels, bed sheets, etc. are washed per manufacturers guidelines. We are also stocking our bungalow with essential disinfectants and supplies to help you follow the CDC’s guidelines. We look forward to welcoming you to our property and hosting your stay.
The Beach Trail Bungalow is equipped with everything you will need to stay for a weekend or even for a month at a time. It has clean, late model appliances including a glass top range and a portable dishwasher, microwave, and all of the cooking utensils, cookware, dishes and glassware that you will need to fully enjoy your meals. you will want to barbeque outdoors on the gas grill and share your meals on the covered porch watching the sunsets and the wildlife that is all around. The cozy, comfortable couch is perfect for relaxing indoors and enjoying the T.V. and stereo or just reading a good book. The quality front loading laundry set is there for your convenience and the bathroom offers a bathtub and shower combination. The queen size bed and the twin bed will accommodate three people very comfortably with high thread count, hand ironed linens.
You will share our private beach trail with our other guests at Hunters' Gate Homes. It is a gated, five minute hike with some large steps which are not easily navigated by small children or inexperienced hikers. Once down to the bottom you will be rewarded with a beautiful beach where the fresh creek water forms a lagoon that spills out into the salt water Strait of Juan de Fuca. You can walk and beach comb to the Dungeness Spit or head in a westerly direction toward Port Angeles.
The quaint little neighborhood store, Agnew Grocery & Feed, is only a five minute drive away, offering fresh local produce and a large selection of wine and other refreshments besides the basic grocery items. Sunny Farms Country Store is only ten minutes away where you'll find a larger variety of items including a deli and a fresh fish and meat market.
There are four restaurants all within a ten minute drive which are all highly recommended. If you want to venture further away, both Sequim and Port Angeles each only a twenty minute drive offer many more choices for shopping and dining.
The start of the road up to Hurricane Ridge and the Olympic National Park is a short twenty minute drive. You can plan longer day trips to the Pacific Ocean and the Hoh Rainforest and return after your adventure to our quiet, restful, tranquil treasure, the Beach Trail Bungalow.

Wonderfully tranquil location, ready access to numerous trails to lookouts overseeing the Strait, everything needed for utmost comfort inside, have stayed here several times before and will do so again.

I had a great time. The property is very quiet and you can hear the water sounds. Its got retro vibes and felt like going to visit your granny for summer vacation. I loved it.

Location was great. Beach trail very nice. Always had deer in the yard.
Cons: Microwave kept tripping until we bypassed the power strip. Toilet clogged first morning. Had to call property management to get that fixed. Couldn't get the portable dishwasher attached to sink. Had to wash towels before use bc the ones stored under the sink smelled like they were put away wet and the ones on display were very rough. The twin bed is very hard. The furniture is really old and the whole place smelled musty. Like an older home that isn't open much.
All in all the stay was OK. Felt safe in the neighborhood. The place could use some updating.
