About this house rental
Located in Del Mar, this attractive house for $800 per night is a great option for your next break. This private home is located in the charming Del Mar Beach Colony area. Steps to the white sand beaches, with staffed lifeguard towers and well kept restroom facilities. Situated on a quiet cul-de-sac with friendly neighbors this beautiful, private home is perfect for families or small groups. U-VERSE TV & WIFI, Apple TV, and wireless indoor/outdoor surround sound stereo -all included! Our home also has AIR CONDITIONING which is a nice luxury in Del Mar. The fenced in backyard is truly the place to entertain - a hot tub to soak and relax in, a built in BBQ and outdoor fridge, wireless sound system to listen to all your favorite music as you dine outside and plenty of room for kids to play and for you to entertain without feeling cramped. It is an easy walk to the beach, or down the street to the unique shops and restaurants in Del Mar. Great surf beaks within walking distance! The home has 3 bedrooms - Master has a king bed with tempurpedic mattress, Guest Room has a queen bed with new posturepedic pillowtop mattress, Kids Bunk room has 4 new twin pillowtop mattresses, and the Family Room has a Potterybarn Sleeper Sofa which makes into a full size bed - Sleeping 10 comfortably. The home was recently remodeled and features: -2 full Baths and outdoor shower -Parking for '4' in the Newly Widened and Paved Driveway -Built in Bar b que with Outdoor Refrigerator -Hot tub -Air conditioning -Laundry Room with full size washer and dryer -remodeled kitchen -private backyard We keep it fully stocked with everything you could need for a day at the beach (towels, boogie boards, cooler, lounge chairs, buckets and toys) as well as a super cool cart to transport it all hassle free. After your fun day at the beach, shower off the sand in the outdoor shower and put your surf board in our rack! Just like our home, Del Mar has something for everyone. Famous for its beaches, fairgrounds and the Del Mar Thoroughbred Club 'Where the turf meets the surf', there are many other reasons that make Del Mar so special. Torrey Pines State Park is 5 miles down the road and is a beautiful place to hike all year. Its centrally located to many of San Diego's favorite 'must sees' -Scripps Aquarium, Legoland, Sea World & SD Zoo are all short drives (20-30 min) and Disneyland is a 2hr drive. Great surf, sunshine, picturesque coastline, white sand beaches, tennis, fine dining, horse racing, and world class golf -Del Mar will keep all your friends/family fully entertained.

This home is cozy and a bit older but it is a very low traffic street and very close to the best beach entrance! We had a great time over Christmas and the host is very responsive and accessible if needed.

Nice little beach house, walking distance to beach, driving distance to shops/restaurants and located on a quiet cul-de-sac. Perfect location. Just an FYI (because I didn't realize prior to) the property is very close to train tracks. It wasn't super disturbing but just good to know if it might impact your decision. I probably would stay again even with the train as it didn't run through the night and wasn't super loud. Property owners were very responsive and no issues. Solid A.

Wonderful stay and very responsive owner. The house is a short walk to the beach, less than 5 minutes. All amenities in the house, including a fully stocked kitchen.
The house has large bedrooms and plenty of linens and extra towels. On demand hot water heater.
The hot tub and backyard area is excellent, including an outdoor TV that we enjoyed.
Overall, the house is A+ and we will be back to visit again!

Our family traveled from all over the country to enjoy a reunion at eve beach. This was the best place for that to happen! The garage provided all the toys for the beach and a wagon to carry everything! The house was clean and had plenty of toys for the kids. The adults enjoyed arcade games and the hot tub. Definitely recommend this place.

We had a great week with our family in Del Mar and can’t wait to come back! The house was perfect for our family - so close to the beach, great kitchen, family room for our kids, lovely back yard and everyone loved the hot tub. The house had all of the amenities we needed and we loved all the beach supplies (the chairs, our kids used the boogie board and wet suit, sand toys and more). We will be back!

I’ve stayed here twice now and hope to keep coming back every year. This is a great house with comfortable beds and nice areas to hang out (two living rooms and a nice backyard with a hot tub). We had a group of 7 adults and we were all very comfortable.

Perfect location, well stocked, great outdoor living area, all the beach equipment you could need and 2 minute walk to the beach. Property manager responded very promptly with the couple of questions that I had. Highly recommend!

We have only great things to say about this home. The only thing we would have changed would have been to stay longer!
We were a group of 7 family members ranging from 7 to 65+ years, and the house was perfect for everyone.
The proximity to the beach was ideal - close enough to walk there on a whim, but the street ends nearly at the house so there is no through traffic keeping the area quiet. The route to the beach is flat and takes just minutes.
They have all the beach supply and backyard games you could think of - which kept our kids easily entertained. The outdoor shower was super handy, and the hot tub was a bonus after a swim in the ocean.
The house was comfortable and clean. We bought groceries and had the majority of our meals at the house. They had everything we could have needed or wanted.
The host was a pleasure to work with. She was kind, welcoming, and prompt with her responses.
We will definitely be back!

The property is a cute "cottage style" beach house that is very functional and comfortable. Each bedroom has sufficient closet space and comfortable beds. The A/C works very well. It has a nice backyard with table that seats 8 people. It is very well stocked with many beach items (chairs, umbrellas, toys, etc). Best part is an owner who is very responsive and interested in providing a great experience.

Great house for a fun, relaxing trip to California to enjoy the weather and the beach. 2 min. walk to the beach and 15 mins. to restaurants, shopping near by. House was clean and well appointed with everything you need for the family. Would definitely rent this spot again.

Cute, well stocked house by the ocean
This is my second time staying at this house, and it is such a great VRBO! I have stayed at several other VRBO's, and this is, by far, the best stocked house. The owner tries to anticipate your needs, and it is so nice that you don't have to go out and buy items that you won't finish using during your stay. She is very proactive and her communication is outstanding. The house is in a great location (2 block walk to the beach and 1/4 mile to downtown Del Mar). Our family had a great vacation!

Perfect Beach Cottage!
What a treat to stay in this fabulous beach cottage in Del Mar! The location is perfect - on a quiet side street, only 3 blocks from the beach. The garage is stocked with everything you need for a day at the beach, including a wagon to carry it all! We enjoyed the quaint village for wonderful restaurants and shopping - a short 15 minute walk or a less than 5 minute drive. Stephanie, the owner, was welcoming and always available for any questions. Thank you Stephanie for sharing your home! We have stayed in a lot of beach houses along the California coast and this was by far our favorite one! It really is a special place! We can’t wait to come back!

Love this place
This place was absolutely perfect from start to finish. Stephanie was awesome with communicating promptly and allowing flexibility. The location is great with an easy walk to the beach and up into town. The house is in a cul-de-sac near the rail but the train is very quiet and noise was never a problem. The house was excellent for kids of all ages with an enclosed backyard with clean turf. We'll definitely be going back!

Amazing place to stay
I stayed here with a small group of 6 adults - this place was perfect for us. The location was great, such a short stroll to the beach. The house had plenty of space for us to hang out. The backyard was spacious and private and we loved the hot tub.
The host was very responsive and helpful. I can’t recommend this place enough.

We had a great time at this lovely house. It is just as described in text and photos. Super cute and cozy with a killer location only a few minutes walk to the beach. Also walking distance to shops and restaurants. Stephanie was very helpful and easy to communicate with. We hope to be back!

We loved Stephanie’s place in Del Mar. The beach is so close that you can hear the waves and smell the salt air from the property! Everything was exactly as described. We enjoyed being just a short walk into town, too. Despite being next to the train tracks, it was surprisingly quiet and we slept well in the comfy bed.
