With an outdoor shower for post-beach refreshment, this coastal haven invites you to savor every moment of coastal living. 4 Bedrooms, 2 Bathrooms - First bedroom: two king beds - Second bedroom: king bed - Third bedroom: king bed - Fourth bedroom: queen bed - Two bathrooms in each hallway, both with shower/tub combo AMENITIES - Backyard dining area - BBQ grill - Front patio with seating - Fenced property - Fully-stocked kitchen with bar stool seating for 2 - Indoor dining area for 10 - Outdoor shower - Beach gear - Located on a cul-de-sac - Books and toys for the kids PARKING - Garage parking for 1 vehicle - Driveway parking for up to 3 vehicles - No street parking HOUSE RULES - Max occupancy: 10 - Quiet Hours: 9pm - 9am - NO PARTIES, GATHERINGS, OR EVENTS ALLOWED - Strictly enforced. - Pet friendly: $50 per pet, per night. We only accept dogs. Please inquire about other pets allowed with our Reservations Department. If you bring furry friends, we ask that you do not allow them outside during quiet hours, as neighbors are very sensitive. Please do not leave your pets unattended during your stay. - There shall be no video, still photography, or film production of any kind without the express written consent of the owner. PLEASE NOTE! - Exterior surveillance cameras recording video 24/7 - Please take note that this home is NOT baby and/or child-proofed. It is your responsibility to walk the home and/or property upon arrival, to make this space safe for your children. We assume no liability for harm/death to any baby or child staying or visiting this vacation rental. - Please note that early check-ins and late check-outs are available at our discretion. There are extra fees for either of these add-ons when available. - No AC in this home CANCELLATION POLICY - A thirty (30) day notice is required for cancellation. Cancellations that are made more than thirty (30) days prior to the arrival date will incur no penalty, aside from a $500 restocking fee. -Cancellations or changes that result in a shortened stay, that are made within 30 days of the arrival date, forfeit the full advance payment (not including deposit and cleaning fee). - Cancellation or early departure does not warrant any refund of rent. If you wish to shorten your existing reservation with VRBKIM, and your reservation is further than 30 days away, we do charge a $100 restocking fee to make this adjustment.

House was in an ideal location - short walk to the beach and had all the beach gear we needed. Beds were comfortable. Indoor living space was a little small, but there was plenty of room outdoors. Only thing that could be improved would be the water flow in the shower. We had a great time and will definitely stay here again.

A group of friends and I got to meet each other for the first time face to face for a convention in San Diego. Staying at Beach Dreams was just that - a dream. A short, pleasant walk to the beach where we saw whales and dolphins and rays, a short drive to the bonfire pits in Mission, a short commute downtown and best of all, a comfortable, spacious house with tons of room and pleasant hangout spaces. It was super easy to check in and out too. We had a great time and would definitely stay here again.

This property was great for 2 families with small children - plenty of bedrooms and large beds to accommodate all different sleep styles, as well as a large dining area. The property was located just a short walk from the beach, making it easy to visit multiple times a day. The kitchen was a little small, with no great place to store pantry grocery items; however, our kids loved all the toys they found hidden in closets. We also appreciated all the fans as they helped keep the property well ventilated during the heat wave. Would certainly stay here again!

We left our two doodles inside the house around 11:00am to go to the market. The property manager called us shortly after to inform us our dogs were outside barking & the neighbor was complaining & had taken video. We rushed home unsure of how our dogs could've gotten out. The dogs were inside the house asleep when we arrived back. The property manager refused to share the video over privacy concerns for the neighbor. She admitted the neighbor was, "an old lady who regularly complains." The PM did finally admit she misspoke when telling us the dogs were outside. Our dogs occasionally bark but not non stop & especially not when indoors. If you stay here with dogs expect to be filmed by a neighbor who isn't happy with renters next door.

Property is a good beach house, but not in the greatest shape. Limited supplies provided, cooking utensils and pans very dated, living area is very small even for 4 people. Nice gated yard and only 1 block from beach.

The place has a better feel that the photos illustrate. Close to the beach, clean, well supplied. We were super happy with our experience.
One night it was windy and neighbors wind chimes were super loud all night but other than that, we lived our stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Del Mar! The house is a quick walk to the beach and we made use of the wagon, chairs, boards and umbrella. It was super convenient having the crosswalk located at 25th to get across Camino Del Mar since it can be a busy street.

We suited for families. Yard was great. Lots of toys for the kids (and lego!!). Short walk to beach. Perfect! I would book again.

It was the most unfriendly place I've ever been. I call it neighbors from HELL! The house is nice. Beds were uncomfortable and very hot inside. It was supposed to be PET FRIENDLY, but not really. I invited my family for one day because it was my birthday, they brought their Chihuahua, (very small) for the day. We walked to the beach and left the dogs in the house and all I got was emails, texts that the dogs were barking in the daytime and got threatened to call the Code Enforcement. Good grief!!!!!! It was so hot inside the house during the day so the only relief was to hang out outside but we couldn't talk normally after 9 PM. Everybody was whispering. I paid a lot of money to rent it for 3 nights but we left the last night. So I only stayed two nights and two days. The neighbors also have dogs that was barking but I did not complain. I better get my deposit because we left the house more cleaner than when we moved in.

Love it! Second year to stay in this house!
This was our 2nd summer spending a long weekend at this home and we absolutely love it! The location is perfect: right across the street from the beach and an easy walk into town. 4 bedrooms fits our large-ish group, and everything we need for our stay is already in the house. This home has become sort of a "tradition" for us, so I anticipate we'll be back again next year! (One tip: bring extra toilet paper and a few trash bags. The owner does provide some, but with our group we went through both before our stay was over and had to make a quick run to the store.)

Beach Dreams in Del Mar was exactly as advertised. And, when we needed help with the internet, someone appeared right away to troubleshoot for us. Long weekend family visit.
We all loved stating at your home. There were 5 adults actually staying there over the weekend and my daughter and baby visted during the day. The house had everything that we needed, heater worked nicely during the evening during the rain, and a short walk to the beach. We did not use the beach toys, etc. but there looked like a good selection. My grandson loved the little plastic bike, car and scooter. Internet and TV worked great. Everyone who communicated with us were very friendly and helpful. Thank you. We would stay here again. Sheryl

Perfect Beach Family Cottage
Our party of 13 recently visited this perfect little beach home in Del Mar. The house is located on a cul de sac just a couple of blocks from the beach. It is equipped with everything you could need - a fully stocked kitchen, beach towels and all the beach toys/chairs/bikes etc you could need. Perfect place for a family or a casual girls trip. In easy walking distance to quaint restaurants and shopping. The beach was perfect and not crowded at all. The racetrack is nearby. The house is so cute and has tons of outdoor living space and comfy beds. I can't wait to visit again and stay longer next time. Thanks for making us feel at home in your beach home, Kimberly!

Love this home
My family and I had the most amazing time in this house. We immediately grabbed the 3 beds in the back room and loved all the open room to get ready together. The decor is so perfect especially so close to the beach. There were dishes and towels we didn't need anything but still felt at home. I would love to stay there again but next time waaay longer and this time use the surf board!

Great Beach Location
Our family (7 adults and 1 three year old) recently stayed at this Del Mar location for 9 day and had a great time. Absolutely no complaints whatsoever. The house and property accommodate a large group well with good space for gathering indoor and out and lots of privacy too. We walked the ~2 blocks to the Del Mar's beautiful beach every day, and the serious runners among us had great trails nearby. The dead-end street is very peaceful, but the location gives quick access to shopping, restaurants, and parks.

All under one roof.
This property was able to accommodate our school athletic team all under one roof. The property had enough beds for everyone to sleep comfortably. It also had the pots and pans to cook for everyone and the dishes and kitchen utensils to serve everyone. The property is literally a block to the beach as advertised. It makes for nice walk as everyone from the community seem to be very active in the morning taking their walks/runs. We also saw a doggie beach right down the street from the property as we were leaving. Kimberly the property owner is a very good about communicating to make sure your stay goes smooth. We will definitely look for this property again next year when we bring our team back down for a tournament.

We had a great weekend at the house on 25th street, the location is perfect and beach was beautiful. The neighborhood is quiet but friendly. The house has great parking, clean light and airy bedrooms, beach toys and nice outdoor spaces. We were able to walk the beach for dining and shopping in Del Mar and all that the area offers. We WILL be back!

Amazing!!
Wow! What a fabulous experience we had at this cool beach home. We pulled the house wagon to the beach daily with all the supplied gear for the beach. The kids especially loved the kids surf boards. It was also nice to have plenty of parking, we saw neighbors who lived close by that couldn't find any street parking, we were thankful to have the 5 spots at the house. The beds were all very comfortable with down comforters, although we didn't really need them since we visited this summer. We will absolutely be back! Thanks for the hospitality Kimberly!

Beautiful house in great location
We were there with a large group and this house accommodated us very well. The backyard area was perfect for hanging out in the evenings and the beach was only two, very short, blocks away. The use of the surfboards and beach cruisers was a huge plus. The kitchen was well equipped and there were lots of towels and linens to go around.

Great for large groups
This was the perfect house for our group of 10. Plenty of beds, a great outdoor patio space with picnic table and BBQ, and just 2 blocks from the beach! The home was exactly as pictured, and very clean when we arrived. The kitchen was stocked with all the dishware/utensils that we needed. Kimberly, the house manager, was very responsive to all questions and provided clear, detailed instructions for our stay prior to arrival. Would gladly stay here again next time we are down in the area.
