Nestled in Kingsbury, this attractive house for $368 per night is a great choice for your next trip. Permit #DSTR0847P Occupancy Rules: *Min age to rent any property is 25. *Per county rules: Weddings are NOT allowed of any kind or size, on the property or at the house. You will be shut down immediately and will lose the security deposit and will be subject to more fines. *You are only allowed 8 people at any time at the house. This includes any dinners or gatherings you may have. *Please help us to keep our home a vacation rental. NOISE ORDINANCE 9pm to 8am DAILY and is very strict in this neighborhood. * Fireworks, wood fire pits, and charcoal BBQ's are illegal in the Lake Tahoe Basin. **Parking: 2 cars allowed at house at any time. There is no street parking per county and fire safety rules. Pursuant to DCC 20.622.040 (D) (6) Failure to park in the designated parking spaces and/or display the parking permit may result in a citation and fine of $500 to the responsible party or person of the vehicle. You must display the parking pass in both vehicles during your stay. They are in the rental house. *Please be prepared for winter driving conditions as we are above 7k feet in elevation, and we do get snow. Heavenly summit village condo located on the Nevada side of South Lake Tahoe. Featuring vaulted open beam cleanings, back deck complete with hot tub and forest views. Cull de sac location for added privacy. Minutes from the Heavenly ski lifts and only a few more to the casinos. This is a 3 level condo. You enter into the condo on the middle floor with kitchen, living room, dinning area, a full shared bathroom, and Bedroom one that has a queen. Below that level is the master bedroom with a king, full bathroom and the laundry area. On the top level is the 3rd bedroom with a queen, bunk bed that has a twin on top and full on bottom. ~ This home does NOT have AC. There is no BBQ per the local fire department fire safety requirements. You may NOT bring your own as they are not legal on this property.

End of Dec. we visited. Not much snow accumulated. We skated. It is fun. The Walk by the beautiful lake is good.Kitchen is dirty. Overall the house is pretty old. Floor and bath room are pretty new.

The house is about a 5 minute drive to the Stagecoach and Boulder Creek lodges. We were there during one of the epic 2023 winter storms, which closed all of the ski areas for a day. However, the four of us were comfortable in the condo. It is located in a hilly area so we were glad we had a car that could handle the snow. The hot tub was great, but if you had the heat, bubbles, and light on it would go off after about 20-30 min. You have to switch the breaker, which is in the bedroom closet off of the kitchen. One time we sat in the hot tub with no bubbles on and it was fine. The fireplace no longer worked and were told the fire inspector shut it down, probably because of all the snow. Not a deal breaker though. We couldn’t figure out the tv in the living room, but we didn’t need it. So it would be helpful to have instructions for the tv, hot tub, and fireplace. But these issues did not affect our ladies weekend, as we had a great time. Would stay again.

The perfect place to come home to after a day of skiing. Well equipped kitchen, plenty of beds, updated bathrooms, quiet and well-tucked away. Definitely recommend 4 wheel or all wheel drive as it is on a dead end and probably one of the last streets to be cleared of snow!

We stayed at the condo from 02/18-03/02. When we first walked in there were pots and pans lined in the living room like there was a leak from the ceiling, and towels in the dryer and some half folded on top of the dryer otherwise the place was clean. There was dust under the beds especially in the basement and some of the towels had brown stains on them.
We were disappointed with communication with the property manager. We wanted to use the fire place but after a few calls and texts (some texts and calls were not returned), the property manager stated it was turned off by the fire department for our safety.
We did not know where to throw trash and after a few calls, we were told where it was BUT still no dumpster, it was removed by ???… and not returned until our last day as we were leaving. We were told to put the trash in a “bear box” which we couldn’t find. We were forced to drive to a different housing community to throw the trash. The dumpster which we found all of a sudden disappeared 3 days before we left thereby leaving us with no other options.
I know no one controls the weather, but not once in the 10 days we were there did the host or property manager ask us if we needed help with shoveling the 6 feet of snow. Not a call or text to see how we were or if things were working. This is where the fire place would’ve come in handy. It was extremely cold in the basement (lower level), and the loft. Temp reading was always 58-60 degrees.
The closests had random mattresses and items and couldn’t hang any clothing.
Rusty baking pans and pots. Ruined a breakfast bake then bought disposable baking dishes.
The positive
The location was close to the Heavenly chair lift (approx 4 mins).
It’s a pain to get into town on a snowy day but otherwise it is approximately 8 mins into town on a good day.
No noise from others in the condo. Neighbors helped us with shovels.

The pros:
-Location was great. We could get to Heavely Mountain without the Gondola which made the skiing experience so much better. Driving to town was simple. Getting to the spot from the airport was fast and easy.
-Lots of space. 2 full bathrooms, two bedrooms with large beds and a loft with a full bed and bunk beds alloeed us to spread out. Family room was adequate for playing games and eating.
-Views were fantastic. You can see a mountain ridge off the balcony to the right and a dostant mountain peak to the left. Mountain pines are beautiful and you can hardly see houses around you.
-Appliances and dishes. Had a toaster, oven, microwave, pots, pans, dishwasher, plenty of silverware. Very easy to cook for yourself. Inwould recommend checking what is already in the cabinets before running to the store.
The Cons:
-Hot Tub. This was a big selling point for us as we were skiing and wanted to use the hot tub. The tub would run with jets for anywhere from 3-10 minutes, then would short out. By short out i mean trip the breaker in the house. After 15-30 minutes you could get the breaker to reset without tripping and start again. This was super frustrating as we really wanted to use the tub after skiing.
-Cleanliness and operable blinds. Overall it was pretty clean, but it was dusty. Many of the blinds were also broken. The balcony door is very difficult to slide open and closed. Freezer leaked.
Overall, we would stay again, minor improvements could make this a 5 star!

Friends and I had a great stay here for Christmas. The house was clean, had everything we needed and was in a great location near a ski rental shop and shuttle stop to both boulder and stagecoach lifts. Also close to several restaurants. Would recommend!

If you're visiting the Tahoe area for the resorts then look no further. My group didn't spend too much time on the property, but when we came back from our daily activities it has everything we needed. Clean showers, kitchen, and beds were great start but the hot tub is what made it. The kitchen hardware was acceptable, we didn't cook gourmet meals but it had was we needed for a basic breakfast and dinner. On to the cons, its a little far if you are planning on going out for night life or making multiple trips into town for supplies. The walls are thin, you can hear everything throughout the house. If you are spending a lot of time on property, some hardware items may feel aged. The water pressure has been turned down. All and all, this location is great for active enthusiasts.

The positives were – great location and close to Zephyr Cove beaches, comfortable beds, updated bathrooms, comfortable dining and living room area. The negatives were – outdated appliances (the fridge was not cold enough and leaked), and the hot tub did not turn off and the jets made loud noises at night, waking guests in the master bedroom. Also, no toiletries were provided – no body wash, shampoo/conditioner in the bathrooms, and there were insufficient paper towels and dishwater capsules. Overall, the condo is nice, but the small details outweighed the positives. We really wanted to like this vrbo rental.

Our family really enjoyed our stay at this property! It was very well furnished and equipped but our only concern was that it was quite dusty. It might be because it was recently remodeled but if you have allergies, we’d recommend bringing some allergy relief capsules! Very great overall though!

Nice location, good view a little distant from activities but over all pretty practical.
Over all good stay however We did have a little issue with the shower door that left unresolved. Property management didn’t take direct responsibility. I felt it was over looked during safety check.

We were grateful for the towels and kitchen supplies. My only complaints were the lack of water pressure in the shower and the lack of silverware and glasses available (there were only 3 spoons).

Worked great for our group!
Has everything you need for a long ski wknd. Comms with the management company was easy, check in and check out was smooth, all the necessities for meals etc, easy parking for 2 cars, and more space than you’d think from the pictures. For the price I’d say this is a fantastic option. Super close to rental places and the Nevada side of Heavenly (~5min to Stagecoach). I would absolutely stay here again.

Hot tub: best view of snow covered trees and private. It's a bit older so the jets could be stronger, but feels great after skiing
Amenities: here's where the 4 rating came in for us. We communicated in detail with the manager to make some small changes to make it an excellent stay.
Our recommendation: if you are a seasoned traveler to VRBOs and have established your 'must-haves', please bring them. Other properties in other areas supply more of the basics and lots of extras. This property has a more minimal approach.

House was as listed, cleaner than previous reviews listed and comfy. Some slight negatives to consider before booking:
1. There is no AC, if you’re booking in the summer it will get hot and muggy in the house even w windows open and fans running
2. House is at altitude - you’re staying up the mountain near heavenly at approx. 7500 ft of elevation. Couple of our party ended up having altitude sickness from staying there so be aware you may have similar issues.

Nice place, beautiful location, needs a few small repairs
My family and my SIL's family stayed for three nights. The place was nice, clean, and suited our family well for our vacation. We were able to have breakfast there every day and the kitchen was well equiped. The location is only about 10 minutes from the main town area, up the mountain. There were a few items need of repair--in the main bathroom the light was out and the shower didn't work (but the bath did). They did send someone right away to fix the light, so I appreciated their responsiveness; however, by the time we discovered the shower didn't work we didn't want to be bothered to arrange repair and just showered downstairs. The hot tub was great, very clean! We would stay again if we came back to Tahoe.

This is a 3 story condo, 1 bathroom on the main floor next to the kitchen and the 2nd bathroom downstairs in the master. Awkward layout for a group. House was definitely not clean, I found crumbs and debris on floors upon arrival. My sisters bed had a huge stain. No AC and the house gets so hot! 2 fans provided for 3 bedrooms, it was brutal. Carpets are pretty nasty also. Garbage has to be taken down to an area with dumpsters.
