Located in La Pointe, this charming condo for $298 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. This gorgeous location has so much to offer... It is time to decompress and relax with the stunning views of the lake and of the Apostle Islands , while enjoying the convenience of being in downtown La Pointe. Sunset Perch is a welcome retreat from busy living. It is just a short walk from the Madeline Island Ferry. There is plenty to enjoy outdoors - the Madeline Island beaches, hiking, golf, playground, parks, and tennis are all nearby. We invite you to sip coffee on the deck in the morning, or catch the gorgeous sunset with a cool beverage, after a long day of fun! Take a bike or moped ride out to Big Bay State Park for a hike, kayaking or enjoy a dip in the lake. Warm and inviting, this well-appointed condo is perfect for family vacations, for long weekends and special occasion getaways. Featuring a fully equipped kitchen, living room, dining area, two full bedrooms and one full bath. Plenty of windows make the condo bright and airy. Sliding glass doors lead out to a large deck overlooking the lake, where you can sunbathe, dive into a good book, and enjoy a cocktail. The downtown location is convenient to all the shopping , pubs, and especially for enjoying the many great dining options, all steps away. Parking is available if you decide to bring your car, but a car is not necessary. We apologize but we are not able to accommodate pets. This is also a non smoking property.

We truly loved our stay at this cozy condo. Everything about it was perfect. Clean, conveniently located, spacious, comfortable with beautiful views. You can tell the owners put a lot of thought into the furnishings to make it a really nice getaway spot.

The condo was as I expected, convenient location. 2 blocks from the ferry dock. I had to go to Bayfield to meet my daughter, granddaughter and great granddaughter . We had a great time on Madeline Island and would go there again. 20 stairs was a bit rough but was good exercise.

We were attending a quilt seminar and needed a relaxing private place to spend the week. Colleen is quick to respond to any questions and the condo is set up perfectly!

The home is centrally located within easy walking of the town’s amenities. It’s about a 4 minute drive to the Madeline Island School of Arts, if that’s your primary destination. Great views of the harbor and people scurrying around the town from the deck.

It's right in the heart of the action but because you're on the second floor it's far enough away from it all to enjoy the beautiful views of Lake Superior. We find the large deck to be our favorite place to hang out to people watch and sip a cocktail. It's steps away from the lake, several bars and restaurants and even the grocery store (though please note, groceries are limited somewhat based on time of year and how busy the weekends are). An amazing condo with amazing owners.

Location is great. Host is very attentive. The place is nice and clean. It would have been nice if there was coffee for the coffee machines. We were surprised that most places were closed after Labor day. In all we are happy with the place.

It doesn't get any better than this place. We loved being in the heart of town and such easy access to the mopeds and ferry. Had a blast on the 5 hour boat ride - highly recommend it. Our accommodation were perfect - clean, pretty and well kept. Hope to come again!

This was a wonderful place to stay on Madeline Island in a great location! It was very clean and the host, Colleen, replied quickly to my questions and provided helpful recommendations for our time on the island. Two things to note: Tom’s Burned Down Cafe is a block away and played music late into the night. Also, one of the bedroom doors wouldn’t stay shut without the help of a rock. I don’t believe either of these things would have mattered if we had the windows closed, but we wanted the fresh lakeshore air. Still a 5-star rental!

If you like being close to the restaurants, the bars, the art galleries, and the water this condo is for you! The condo was clean and it had everything we needed for our extra long weekend away. The hosts were excellent and answered all of our questions. Definitely five stars.

Great communication from Colleen. We visited in the off season so the island was quiet but she communicated everything about the ferry and open stores and shops which her close by. Great host!!😊

It was close smug to the ferry to not need a vehicle. We did bring ours and drove around the island. We happened to hit a weekend where there was a town festival going on. It was close enough to walk to anything in the mainstreet we wanted to do. The view from the porch was beautiful. Watching the sunset over the bay was a great way to end the day!!

This was a perfect to place to hang out for a few days. The view of the water, walking distance to most things and being so close to the locals gave us a true feel of the island. Delightful!

Excellent place to stay
The property was just as pictured with a large balcony directly overlooking Lake Superior! It was the perfect place to stay for apple fest and would highly encourage others to stay there!

The condo was roomy and comfortable. The balcony had excellent views of the lake and sunsets. The coffee shop downstairs was great for morning coffee and to go sandwiches. The condo is situated right in downtown lapointe near the few open restaurants and bars the week after Apple Fest in Bayfield.
The only drawback is the convenient location of the condo also generates lots of noise in the early morning hours from nearby trucking and Marina operations.

The condo was very clean, comfortable and in a great location with views of Lake Superior. Nice place, easy location on Madeline Island. Well-equipped kitchen, family areas, etc. Island can be a bit sleepy - but easy to get back and forth to Bayfield on the ferry 1 block away.
