Located in Fernandina Beach, this charming house for $595 per night is a great choice for your next trip. Enjoy stunning views, an oceanside deck, and direct beach access from this incredible Amelia Island home! Recently updated and incredibly beautiful, Bell's Retreat is the perfect place for the island getaway of your dreams. This free standing, independent home boasts a spacious, open concept living area with comfortable, recently updated furniture and a fully equipped kitchen, Enjoy the company of friends and family relaxing in the living or dining room while preparing meals in the kitchen. There is a stand-alone bar between the kitchen and living room for extra seating with amazing ocean views. Granite countertops are the perfect finishing touch to this beautiful cooking area. Bell's Retreat offers guests three bedrooms, all facing the ocean, including a large master suite with its own private bathroom. The master suite includes a luxurious king size bed, while the guest bedrooms offer a king size bed and full size bunk bed with a twin trundle. Both bathrooms have been completely renovated and have bright, cheerful colors, as well as double sinks in the master bathroom. The master bedroom and king guest room both allow access to the large oceanside deck, which is the perfect place to sit and enjoy your morning coffee with the peace and quiet of the north end beach. All fresh linens and towels are provided for our guests. We also provide a starter pack of toilet paper, paper towels, dish washing soap, dish pods, and laundry detergent. Beach chairs, beach umbrella and beach towels are also provided for you to use during your stay. Pets under 50lbs are welcomed! No aggressive breeds and pet must be crated when guest is away from rental. We also ask all guests to complete a registration form with Amelia Island Vacations through the secure site of Docusign. There is a credit processing fee of $35 that will be charged if you cancel your booking, regardless of the booking or cancellation date. Some furniture may change in quantity or availability from photos due to season or weathering. Having the beach so close was a great convenience. If kids needed the bathroom they could pop up to the house quickly, no need to pack a lunch for beach day just made a trip back to the house.

We have stayed here before and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house is dated but in good condition. The beach is nice and quiet. Will definitely be returning!

The property is in a nice location but needs attention to detail. The bedrooms lack black-out curtains so they get light very early. Also, there is no screen door for the patio so you cant open the door for air without bugs getting in. The carpet is very old and has a slight musty smell as well. Lastly (and most importantly) the deck is in poor condition. For little kids there are several warped boards that are trip hazards and my daughter tripped once. So, the house "does the job" but could be a 5 star rental with a little investment.

Upon entering the property, we noticed the staircase was in dire need of repair, the beds were below par and slept horribly ( the ONLY suitable mattress was the pull out trundle mind you ) and sheets in the main WERE NOT EVEN CLEAN. My husband told me to just let it be and for us to make the best of our stay and I stripped the sheets for the wash and carried on. Tried to rather... for the price we paid we expected a much better experience and we have traveled quite a bit as a family and never encountered this. This is my first ever negative review and it pains me to write but with no communication at all from the owner I just hope others are aware that this is NOT in great condition and to look at others before settling here. The back deck and crosswalk in completely falling apart and is a liability. The grill needs to be taken off property. It was rusty and filthy. The owner needs to walk the grounds and question if they would rent a place like this and find it acceptable to rent out. There is mold in the master bathroom shower vent and we actually packed up early and left to go back home because of how bad this experience was when normally we don't want to leave. TOTAL LETDOWN. The tile floor was nice.

Love the location. Love hearing the waves right out the door. Looks newly renovated. Easy access to all that Fernandina Beach has to offer, particularly the amazing restaurants. But also nice place to stay home and eat in. We’d be happy to come back.

The house has the location being right on the beach. However, the rate is what I consider a premium rate, but the accommodations are not. We experienced roaches on the walls and crawling across the floor. The back deck and walkways have rotten wood with holes and boards sticking up that almost took the bottom of my foot off. The utensils are a mismatch of different stiles and some of the cups were recycled glass yogurt containers. The stove is out of date and the bathroom vanities need to be replaced. If you are going to charge a premium for your property, then it is only fair that you provide premium accommodations.

We spent six nights in this home and felt very comfortable. The location and views can’t be beat. The house was dated, but clean. The management team is fantastic. The area is close to everything you need. We love pickleball and the public courts have a welcoming group and are nearby. The house is also close to several incredible restaurants. We hope to return in a few months.

We were especially glad to see that there was a crock pot included as we had forgotten to bring ours. Beds were comfortable, wi-fi worked well as did the A/C. The home had everything you could need and was very clean. Ample storage for clothes and gear, master has a very large walk-in closet. Large driveway for multiple cars or a boat but you cannot back the boat in unless you do not have a t-top or tower. We had 4 adults and two teenagers with plenty of room to spare. I highly recommend this property and it's location. The only bad part about the stay was leaving Saturday morning. Can't wait to get back there this summer!

The house proximity to beach was excellent. The beach itself was certainly the best beach I have been to. The house was acceptable and as mentioned by other reviewers it could use some updating but the ac and internet worked fine. Overall we enjoyed our stay immensely and would certainly consider this property again.

We enjoyed our time at the property. Wish there had been a bit more attention paid to the outdoor seating area in the back, maybe some nice loungers, but otherwise a comfortable house in a good location. We loved our morning and evening beach walks.

We enjoyed our stay! Every bedroom has an ocean view, the kitchen/living room is very open, the porch is huge and perfect in the afternoon! We loved being Right on the beach. It isn’t the most updated, but we loved that it was pet Friendly!!! There is a boardwalk that’s about half the distance to the beach, then the other half you have to walk across another dune. If you have small babies or are elderly this could be tougher than if the boardwalk went the entire way. The kitchen isn’t super stocked but had everything we needed (we didn’t cook a lot). Overall would stay here again!!!

Beautiful spot
The spot on the north end of Fletcher is amazing and the beach, pristine and beautiful. The house has a great set-up and was easy in most regards. However, two key upgrades needed - outdoor deck needs some love and the kitchen is very under equipped. Worst of any rental home we have ever stayed in and that has been a lot of homes. Need to completely overhaul plates, utensils, cookware.
