Nestled in Dana Point, this lovely condo for $150 per night is a great choice for your next break. PRIME LOCATION. The location of our condominium can't be beat. Its location allows visitors access to world-class everything—world class beaches, golf, dining, walking trails, Dana Point Harbor, and world class hotels. The unit is located on the very south end of the Niguel Beach Terrace condominium complex which provides for a great deal of privacy. The complex is adjacent to numerous walking trails which access cliff vistas, beaches, harbors, and the town center of Dana Point. The condo feels very private as it looks out to a number of garden areas, rather than into other units in the complex or to the parking lot. Enjoy this newly renovated, luxuriously decorated space, complete with two quiet beautiful garden patios. The complex comes complete with a heated pool and spa, and is a short distance to one of the most beautiful parks and walking areas in Southern California. Enjoy the panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean, overlooking the famous Dana Strands and Salt Creek Beaches, shared with two world class hotels--the Ritz Carlton and St. Regis. Because of the close proximity to the beaches and Dana Point Harbor, this is a walker and photographer's paradise! NEWLY APPOINTED UNIT: Recently completely refurbished and updated, our condo is fully decked out for your comfort. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything a family would need for comfort. The two private bedrooms include one large master suite which opens up to a beautiful garden patio, one of the most generous patios in the entire complex. The second bedroom has two twin beds and opens up to a patio surrounded by a small succulent garden. The floor plan is continuous throughout--from any room one can move from bedroom to patio to living room to dining room and kitchen with ease. THE AREA: This is a convenient starting point for many of Southern California's tourist attractions and activities. Walk to the newly opened nature trails over the Headlands, with sitting areas and view points out over the ocean. Stroll down one of the many paths to the beach below. Enjoy a day of golf or take in a spa treatment at the Ritz Carlton or St. Regis hotels, both within half a mile away. Just to the south is Dana Point Harbor with sailing, fishing, whale-watching, restaurants, shops, home to the historic tall ship “The Pilgrim”, the Ocean Institute and adjacent tide pools. Further south are the cities of San Clemente with an excellent pier, Historic Mission San Juan Capistrano, and San Diego with its famous Sea World , Wild Animal Park and the San Diego Zoo (about 1-hour drive). A short drive to the north is Laguna Beach (5-6 miles), famous for its beautiful beaches and coves, art galleries, and the Pageant of the Masters summer productions. Travel a little further up the coast to Newport Beach (10-12 miles), home to world-class shopping at Fashion Island, and the Balboa Pier. Disneyland and Knott's Berry Farm is within a 45-minute drive north.

This is a great property with the photos reflecting how the property is, no surprises! Nicely updated and a very private location within the complex. This is an easy walk to everything in the town of Dana Point and also to the beach. I would highly recommend this property.

Great experience! The unit was just as it was represented. Very easy to maintain and comfortable. The views are lovely , no looking at a parking lot! The owners are very responsive to any questions or concerns. Beds are comfortable, shower is great. The kitchen is well equipped. Everything you need is there. There’s even a lighted magnifying mirror in the bathroom. I would definitely stay there again!

Place is great! We very much enjoyed our stay in this lovely condo …. clean, nicely decorated, and comfortable. Location was perfect! Felt like we were in a jungle with the vegetation and views from windows and both patios. End unit, quiet and peaceful. Short walk to many restaurants and the strand beach. Corinne is great and very responsive. Definitely going to return!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The condo has an abundance of natural light and it’s so quiet! The patio has succulents, birds of paradise and a palm tree. Hummingbirds made a daily visit.
The kitchen is well stocked. The beds are comfortable and the shower is powerful.
The washer and dryer are dated but do their job. We are looking forward to returning.

It was our second stay at this lovely condo. It is full of light and the furnishings are very comfortable. Corinne and Carey responded quickly to our questions and took care of all of our needs. We will be back!

Perfect Beach Getaway
This apartment is so perfect and super comfortable. Some of my favorite things were the master shower and bed that offered such amazing relaxation. The apartment faces the back path and is filled with lush tropical plants that offer privacy and visually pleasing views. You can take your daily walks along strands, enjoying sunsets and ocean views. You can also get a great work out hiking along the beach and the headlands. The owners are warm and accomodating people. They are responsive and absolutely care about your experience. Each time we have stayed they left a beautiful goodie basket for us, they answered our texts and calls in a timely fashion and made us feel right at home. Everything you need is in walking distance. We highly reccommend this property.

Quality and Comfort
This was our best stay at Strand so far and this lovely condo played a big part of it. Communication before during and after was prompt and friendly. Every need was provided for and everything from kitchen ware to furniture and linens were of high quality, in good taste and beautifully appointed. We really felt comfortable, as if we were in a home away from home. There was even a welcome surprise to greet us upon arrival. Will definitely love go back.

Wonderful Get-Away
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Corrine and Cary's condo. They were great hosts and the updated condo was very clean and well equipped. We like to cook and found the kitchen to be very well stocked with everything we needed to prepare meals. There was even a welcome gift from the owners to greet us. We especially enjoyed the location of the condo, the sunny and bright patios and lawn area in a quiet area of the complex.. We hope to return again.

Great vacation condo
What's notable about this condo is that it's in a quiet location in the complex. It's on the backside of the building from the parking lot, and as such, you don't have lights or noise from the cars, and few people walking near it. Very garden-y with nice grassy area nearby. It's an enjoyable walk to restaurants in Dana Point, closer to that direction than other units in the complex. Corinne was a very thoughtful host, with a goodie basket and gift for my daughter, which she loved, on arrival. Would love to stay here sometime again!

Fantastic vacation rental
Our stay at Strands Beach was everything we had hoped for and more. Corinne made us feel welcomed from the moment we arrived with a special gift basket and personal note. The condo was exceptionally clean, well equipped and comfortable. We felt like we were in a garden retreat with the quiet location and yet had the convenience of being within walking distance to the beach and local restaurants. We definitely hope to return.

Wonderful stay in Dana Point!
We had a wonderful time here!
The location was perfect, conveniently within walking distance to the beautiful Strands Beach. We took advantage of the fabulous sunsets. Imagine being able to walk 5 minutes to the ocean and watch the sun go down. What an amazing romantic experience!
We could not have asked for a more accommodating host. We were greeted with a lovely welcome basket and fresh fruit.
The owner contacted us the day we arrived to see if we needed anything or had any questions. We've been renting vacation homes for several years and we both agreed the communication and attention to
our needs were both superb.
A few highlights:
-kitchen is well stocked
- king bed in Master is extremely comfortable
- rain shower in master is amazing
-two beautiful garden patios
-efficient barbecue
-three slider doors to enjoy the ocean breeze
-unit is facing south, provides fantastic light
-close to the beach, Dana Point Harbor, restaurants, grocery stores
Gelson's our favorite grocery store. Waterman's our favorite restaurant.
This property offered a perfect experience of Dana Point at its finest!

Great Condo, Great Location.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this condo. Dana Point is a fabulous place -- it's on the beach, offers lots of close by shopping, day trips, and entertainment. And, it has a lot less traffic and congestion than other cities up and down the coast.
The condo was clean and well maintained. Two patios give you a "morning side" and an "afternoon-evening side" for coffee or a glass of wine. The ground floor location puts you on green grass and among real plants and flowers when you step out the door. The beds were comfortable, closet space adequate, the kitchen well stocked with utensils, TV's were in all major living spaces, and internet access was fast and reliable. Corinne was wonderful to work with and attentive our needs.
The location is fantastic. It's an easy walk to the beach -- there are stairs and ramps involved, but they proved good exercise for us. We really enjoyed the multiple walking paths and routes in the area: the beach, the Dana Point State Marine Preserve, to the Harbor, Sea Terrace Community Park, areas around the Ritz Carlton and the Ocean Institute, Hilltop Park, and pleasant streets. Take your camera.

Beautiful place
My boyfriend and I stayed in this apartment for a week and we could ask for more. The property is very beautifully decorated and clean. It has everything that we needed to cook and the Wifi is very fast. Close to the Dana Point Harbor, we watched the sunset in the ocean everyday.

Great Condo, Awesome location!
The condo is great! Really spacious, very well decorated, super clean and with all the appliances you need! It has 2 patios and plenty of windows so you can enjoy that californian sun! The owners were very nice and even put together a binder with great informations and tips on what to do in the area! The location is great, in front of the beach where you can surf and watch an awesome sunset. Also near to some very nice restaurants and other activities.
The complex is very calm, quiet and private. And also has a nice hot tub.

My family stayed here for two months and were very happy with the accommodations. The property was comfortable, clean, and tastefully decorated. Corinne was super responsive, and quickly helped solve an issue we had with the WiFi. We wouldn't hesitate recommending this property to anyone looking for a relaxing vacation close to the beach.

My husband and I have stayed at this condo complex for five years during the months of January and February. This was our first year to stay in this particular unit, and it was by far the nicest. It was especially clean, beautifully decorated, and contained all that we needed. The owners were especially accommodating. The location is wonderful for its views. Our favorite activity while there is taking a vigorous walk along the ocean and down to the Dana Point Harbor. Restaurants are fabulous!

Great condo for families
We stayed here as an alternative to the nearby St. Regis hotel for a wedding. It was wonderful! The twin beds were perfect for kids, and they loved having their breakfasts on the private patio off their room. The master bedroom was large and comfortable, and the kitchen was well-stocked. Due to facing the beach side of the complex, the entire condo felt extremely private despite all the other units. Finally, we loved the pool - not to crowded and just right for families. Corinne was an extremely gracious host - during our stay we had a minor medical emergency and I was touched by her offer to help us in any way she could. We will definitely return next time we're headed to the area!

Wonderful Vacation!
Our family had a wonderful vacation in the Dana Point area. Corinne was extremely helpful along the way. The condo is truly beautiful, and the overall complex is well maintained as well. We certainly wish we could have stayed longer than 12 nights. Hopefully we will have the opportunity to visit the area again, and will definitley check into this condo first!
