Your private woodlands retreat awaits. Nestled atop a beautiful 10 acre meadow with 25 acres of woods for you to enjoy; this rustic cabin is a perfect romantic hideaway. Two trout ponds are steps from your door for fishing and swimming. Just a few minutes from Mt. Ascutney's hiking and mountain-biking trails and in the middle of fantastic cycling country.
Sunset Cabin is a marvelous spot for enjoying fall foliage and exploring Vermont's quaint towns and covered bridges.
This is a magical place. The cabin is comfortable, rustic, and private. What’s special about it is it's extremely romantic setting overlooking meadows, ponds, gardens, mountains, and woods. Note- this cabin is on a large property that has hosts home and a 2nd rental unit. Cabin is completely private and tucked away near the woods.

This is not a private location. It is near woods. But you are within a few hundred feed from other renters and dogs. The listing pictures and description makes it seem that you are well away from anyone. This is not accurate. We had a good time but you cannot have off leash dogs at any time and with a small cabin I was really looking forward to outside off leash time for my demo dog who needs a vacation too.

Absolutely beautiful property! Perfect for a weekend getaway. The hiking trails were great and well maintained. Our dog also had a blast and loved the trails and watching the fish.
