About this villa rental
Nestled in Avalon, this lovely villa for $413 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. GUYS & GALS if you want to impress your spouse or friends, book a stay in this unit! COMPARE our price, size, reviews, age and condition to ANY other upscale hotel room or rental. The more you shop around, the better we look! This unique and newer 3 story European inspired residence offers you 2 bedrooms and 2.5 baths spread over 3 floors (NOTE: There is NO elevator, so if you have difficulty in walking stairs this property would not be suitable. One bedroom is on the 2nd (middle) floor and the other bedroom is on the top (3rd) floor). . SLEEPS 4 PEOPLE MAXIMUM. On the ground floor is the living area with sofa, table & chairs, 55" flat screen TV and FULL bathroom. (This room is about the size of a bedroom, so it's not a large family room with sectionals and easy chairs, but it's more than fine for a brief stay). The middle floor offers a full kitchen with stainless steel appliances and breakfast nook on one side and a large bedroom with queen bed, private 1/2 bath and seasonal fireplace (available only Nov-Mar) on the other side. On top floor is the main bedroom suite with NEW King bed, NEW 50" Smart TV, and a lovely bathroom with double sinks, separate toilet room, a large stall shower and an oversized jacuzzi tub. NOTE* The fireplace pictured in the top floor bedroom is not operable. Only the 2nd bedroom on the middle floor has an operable seasonal fireplace). NOTE*** DURING ALL PHASES OF WATER CONSERVATION, THE OVERSIZED JACUZZI TUB WILL BE TURNED OFF. This bathroom still has a large stall shower, and there is a standard bathtub in the ground floor bathroom.*** As of March 1, 2024 there are no mandatory phases of water conservation in effect. There are ROOM HEATING & AIR CONDITIONERS in both bedrooms and also in the ground floor living area. (Set on HEAT Mode Nov-April and on AIR Mode May-October). 4 PEOPLE MAXIMUM. Also NO SMOKING AND NO PETS. There is no sofa bed, so with 4 guests 2 people will be sharing each queen bed. * MINIMUM age of 24 years for young adults renting on their own. Also, we do not feel our 3 story property is suitable for infants and toddlers. Children age 5 and older are welcome.* Compare our price, size and condition to ANY other vacation rental or upscale hotel room. The more you shop around, the better we look. 2 NIGHT MINIMUM. On the 2nd and 3rd floor landings are French doors that open against balcony pillars to provide sunlight, fresh air and partial views. (These are 'Juliet' balconies; not step out balconies). Out in front we have a large flagstone patio with table and chairs, BBQ and our own 4 hole PUTTING GREEN that provides hours of fun for young and old alike! This lovely property is located on 'the flats' at 357 Clemente Avenue; corner of Tremont. It is 3 blocks from the waterfront and within 5-7 minutes walk to the golf course, miniature golf, shops, restaurants, bars, the beaches and all the various sightseeing tours available. It is away from the noise of the bars, but it's still right in the mix of things as you can sit and watch golf carts and people walk by. (Rental golf carts only run from about 9:30-6:00). It is also an easy fairly level 12 minute walk from the boat terminal; however with luggage you might prefer to take a taxi (cost @$18). NO SMOKING and NO PETS. AGE RESTRICTIONS: Young adults on their own must be 24 years old. INFANTS & TODDLERS: This property is 3 stories with hardwood floors and stairs, with parents sleeping on the top floor and any children sleeping separately in the middle floor bedroom. Therefore, we do NOT feel this property is suitable for infants and toddlers. CHILDREN AGE 5 AND OLDER ARE WELCOME. **Any golf cart you might see is NOT included in your rental and is NOT available to rent. They are available for rent by the waterfront for @$60/hr. Enjoyed the charm of Catalina and loved the property where we stayed. It was clean, well stocked, well located and quiet. Definitely would revisit.....

The place worked well for us.
The property location albeit at the end of downtown and lesser populated, still had its share of noise.
Tnoise level was rough with the gas powered golf carts turning the street corner at night, driving late at night, and driving in the morning.
Also the birds (parrots?) seems to be up and awake at 630am in the palm trees with their families, and the location although at the end of a street, faces a multiunit apartment complex.
Some earplugs would be a welcome addition in case of light sleepers.

The villa is very clean, comfortable and centrally located. Although it would comfortably sleep four, it was perfect for me and my husband to stetch out and relax. We were centrally located for hiking (about 40 miles), fishing, boating, paddleboarding and great food around town but were also able to do lots of cooking. We visit Avalon often, and this is the best place we've ever stayed!

Coming from a current host, this space did not disappoint. The quality is there! The linen, furniture, kitchen stock and cleanliness are all quality. Wonderful experience and great location. Just a quick 9 minute walk to the beach. This gem is worth every dollar.

This was the perfect 3 night Island getaway for my family of 4. Only a 10 min walk from downtown Avalon in a quiet neighborhood. Three levels allowed us all to have our separate spaces and private bathrooms. Owner was prompt in answering questions. We had all we needed in the kitchen to grill out one night and we really enjoyed our private putting green.

The home has a great charm and Randy was an excellent host, very informative and accomidating. He let us check in early and gave us a later check out which made our stay even more relaxing. Didnt feel rushed love this home highly recommend.

First time on the island and place did the job. Good location - everything walking distance. Went hiking, zip lining, massage in the village, and ate out a few times. House had everything we needed. If you are tv reliant, not a good place for you - but if have own devices shouldn’t be an issue. Good for small family.

We had such an amazing experience at Catalina. The house was clean and comfortable. It was not a far walk from town which made things very easy for us. Everyone is so nice and we hung out with the neighbors every day. Marny gave us the history of the island which made the experience more memorable.
We would rent this property again if we came back.

We enjoyed the place. It was clean, all set up, the kitchen appliances are very new. It has 3 floor, generous space to hold 4 people. Climbing up and down the floors was fun until we had to do too much of it. Also, the space on each floor is actually a little tight. One problem one had was the AC on the third floor was dripping water down to the head of the bed and to our forehead. We had to pull the whole bed away from it.

This property is a great choice! Its set in the back at the end of a street and you might think that is a bummer since you will have to walk a mile to Descanso beach club or some of the other places but it was perfection. There wasn't the constant sound of golf carts wizzying by and because its three stories it doesn't sound like neighbors are in your bedroom. Our friends rented a different bungalow and they complained they experienced these sounds every night. Randy (the host) was such a good communicator and checked in with us after our stay as well. I highly recommend this property if you traveling with your family. The rooms are beautiful and clean. 5 minute walk to Vons and there was even a cart to haul your groceries. Book the trip and choose this place!

Cute Condo
This condo was a good size for our family of 4. It is within walking distance of everything and the kitchen was well stocked. 4 starts instead of 5 because the beds were not very comfortable and the house didn't have enough towels to get through our 4 night stay. We had to make a trip to laundry mat. Also, I would recommend including beach towels so people don't have to bring their own. Otherwise, it was a nice stay.

Vacation we didn’t want to end
Randy’s property is amazing! It is a bit further back by the golf course but was perfect for us! The neighbors were super friendly and even offered us a free tour of the casino. The house was clean, the ac worked quickly!!!! Only request would be a few more bath towels. ☺️ Our teenage son loves the putting green in the front yard, he became a putting pro while we stayed for the week. Will def be back!!!!

Great stay
First time visiting Catalina was a success! I was a little worried going in that this property would be too far from "town", but turns out it's the perfect distance. Easily walkable, but tucked away from any foot traffic. Randy was helpful with any questions I had. Would definitely stay again.

Felt Like Vacation
My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights and wish we had booked a longer stay! The townhome was easy to find and an easy walk from the ferry for anyone without ailments. We loved how it was pushed back towards the edge of town (though that didn't keep the golf cart traffic at bay) and how it had a small yard & putting green out front! Walking around we realized how unique this was. The place was private and we loved having the bit of extra yard space. We also loved how unique the place was with it being 3 stories. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils though we ate out most of our stay. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to any friends or family heading to the island!

Off the beaten track and the host is the best. Three floors for two friends allows plenty of space to visit and to be alone. Bathroom on each floor and doors to the outside on each floor. It was just perfect.
