Such a great location to stay ! Close to Great restaurants, shopping and beaches . Very comfortable and the most lovely hosts. It was so wonderful to have the use of the Duffy boat . Two great nights viewing the Christmas boat parade . Would definitely stay there again .

This location was perfect for our Thanksgiving visit. We have family in the area and this cute, efficient apartment was just right and close to everything. We only used the duffy once but it was very enjoyable. If you don't need to cook, this apartment works very well.

Access to Duffy boat was wonderful, daily boat rides. Kayak and paddle boards too, a bit worn but totally useable. Location is close to beach on other side, too, for beach activities. Hosts very friendly. Patio facing deck is nice, though you have to carry food and drink down stairs.
Cooking / Frig facilities small, but not a problem for us as we were dining out most nights.

There is a skylight in the main room with a pullout and one of the bedrooms does not have window coverings that cover the top portion of the window. If you love waking up at sunrise this place is perfect, but if you prefer to sleep in a bit while on vacation you may want to consider other options. Access to the beach and all of the water toys is a big perk. Loved taking the electric Duffy out.

We had a great time and my teens loved how much there was to do. Cruise the bay on the Duffy boat, ride bikes to the Wedge, paddle board and kayak on the bay and walk to the beach across the street. We also enjoyed the beautiful back patio on the bay.

This is a great place to stay. The property is an upper unit that has two bedrooms, a bath, and a combined living room/dining room/kitchenette. It's very well appointed and has everything you might need for a stay near the beach. Judi and Nuel are great hosts and even though they live in the main unit of the property, we hardly noticed them unless we needed them. They do a great job making you feel like you have the entire property to yourself. The use of the duffy was the highlight and we were out on it many times during our stay. The area is very quiet, and it is so peaceful and relaxing on the back patio overlooking the bay. We even caught a bass off the dock. Lots of great restaurants within walking distance, or use the duffy to pull up to most of the harbor restaurants. We really enjoyed this property including the ammenities like the kayaks and the duffy and the quiet location. The hosts are also a very pleasant part of the experience. Thanks Judi and Nuel! Your home is amazing and you are very gracious hosts!

Amazing spot, the hosts live right under the unit and they are very friendly and very hospitable - we stayed for Memorial and had a group of friends out on the patio enjoying the water. Being able to take out the Duffy a few times such a huge advantage. Will stay again, recommmend.

Judy and Nuel are lovely and have done a great job making this small apartment feel like home. Since this is an owner occupied rental they are available when needed such as when all 3 tv's didn't work day one. They had the cable company there the next afternoon but even then some written directions for the television remotes would be helpful. It was chilly and rained two of our 3 days but we did take the Duffy out twice. The Duffy does not currently have window zip sides so come prepared to bundle up if it's cool, however, the Duffy was our main reason for renting and Newport harbor is a beautiful ride especially with all the Christmas lights. The apartment was clean and comfortable, just be aware there is not much of a view from any window. The patio is super nice and direct waterfront but for us felt a little awkward sitting in front of their living area window. Don't misunderstand, Judy and Nuel were awesome and accommodating, it's just a bit different renting from owner occupied. One tip:. Awesome cannolis from Mario's, basically around the corner!

The property is in an excellent location, backed up against the harbor and a short walk to the beach. The property gives you access to bicycles, kayaks, and skim, boogie, and paddle boards.

We enjoyed our stay and the little Duffy boat is so fun! Being on the on the bay is a wonderful setting and the beach access was easy too. While the patio is downstairs off the owners area, we had private usage. The hosts are very friendly and were quick to try to address any issues. We suggest they get an easier TV system as on we could not shut off one and one we never could get to work right, and the hosts weren't able to help. Also, make sure the air is on for arrival as this upstairs unit took a really long time to cool off, and the day we arrived was during a heat wave. Thank for sharing you place with us!
