Situated in Dollar Point, this lovely house for $450 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. Stunning Lake View Fully Remodeled Chinquapin house– steps to the lake with incredible amenities and 3 miles to Tahoe City, minutes to Palisades (formerly Squaw), Alpine and Homewood. 2 Lake View Master Suites and another bright and comfortable bedroom with a twin bunkbed and a double bed. You will be delighted by the views from every level of this remodeled 1700+ square foot 3 bedroom 3 bath townhouse. Our house is nestled in the Chinquapin Community which is a peaceful gated community on 95 Acres with a mile of lake frontage. Great place to play in summer and winter with hiking trails and sledding hills. We have 2 piers, two private beaches, a tennis court right on the lake, a beautiful heated pool (Memorial Day through Labor Day), 6 other tennis courts by the pool and miles of private trails. The wonderful private fenced pool area is equipped with a sauna, volleyball, ping-pong and a new playground. Our house has 3 stories with dramatic lake views on every level. We are steps away from the idyllic Chinquapin pier, the lake beach, tennis courts and heated pool. You enter into the top floor with dramatic high ceilings, exposed beams, large windows and immediately are drawn to the lake world and mountains outside. This top floor has the remodeled gourmet cook kitchen, including a Keurig coffee brewer, dining area, large living room with stone fireplace, a 65 inch Samsung Flatscreen TV with Netflix and deck with views of the lake, the main pier and lakefront tennis court. Watch the children play on the pier while you sit on your private balcony. The second floor has the private Master bedroom with incredible lake views and remodeled Master bath and large view deck as well as another remodeled bath room and a room with a twin bunkbed and full bed. The third floor has a king size bed with amazing lake views, a bathroom and a large view deck with table and chairs. The entrance to the unit has a sunny deck which overlooks a private hill for the kids to explore in summer or winter. We have 3 flat screen tvs, cable, high speed WIFI, music docking station and games at the house.

Our host, Marion, went above and beyond to help us with every aspect of our stay. Our family loved the property - clean, beautifully decorated, with panoramic view of the lake. We would highly recommend staying at this wonderful property!

The living room was very cozy and the kids loved the bean bag chair. The beds were all very comfortable and the kids slept well. The blinds were not so dark so in the morning it was bright- not an issue for us. The kitchen was easy to use and we cooked almost every meal at home and used the bbq. Easy walk down to the piers and little beach. Great location for traveling around Tahoe. We enjoyed ourselves.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Place was great for our family to get together. The views from the deck are amazing. The layout with the family room and dining room provided great places to eat, watch movies and play games. This place was exactly as advertised and delivered exactly what we were looking for. Marion was an excellent host and communicated well with us on place to go. Great stay!

Lovely, comfortable and clean home with amazing views from each floor! Easily accommodated my family of five. Plenty of open space on the first floor to hang out with family. Great size bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone. Kitchen was fully stocked with cooking supplies. Marion responded quickly to any questions I had. There won’t be any regrets choosing this home.

The condo was perfect for our sister trip. The views of Lake Tahoe are stunning from every level of the property. Marion responds to messages quickly. Directions were easy to follow. This was our first trip to Lake Tahoe, and I hope it is not our last. We loved every minute of our stay here. The property is convenient to the highways, and quick trips to neighboring areas are very easy from the location.

This is certainly a five-star vacation property. It sparkles, is well appointed, and is very comfortable. It is a great spot for families. The photos on VRBO of the view from the deck over Lake Tahoe don't do the real view justice! Marion is very helpful and easy to work with. This is a top spot!!

Awesome location with beautiful views throughout the home. House was clean and comfortable with everything you need for great family stay. Lots of stairs (tri-level) so just be prepared. Best bed is the queen on 2nd floor (Mstr bdrm)wish it was a king like bottom floor. Others we pretty comfy but may need upgrade soon. Overall…loved the unit and had a great time. Owner very responsive.

Hi Marion, thanks to you and your husband for opening your beautiful Tahoe lake home to us. We had an amazing time and plan to book again next year! The view was breathtaking, house was well furnished and maintained and made for a very comfortable stay. The rooms were clean and had equally gorgeous views! We love the HOA facility, everyone was accommodating and so friendly. Thanks for putting me in touch with the HOA manager, he is a awesome and made things so easy for renting the buoy for our boat. He treated us like VIP’s. We hated leaving and look forward to our next trip, Tahoe is going to be a yearly trip for us from now on!

The house location was great with fantastic views and easy access to area activities. The only negative was there was very limited usable closet spaces since they were holding mattresses and outdoor cushions etc. All and all we would stay there again

A+ House For Family Winter Ski Trip; Close To Homewood, Palisades; Fantastic Host
If I could give this property 6 stars, I would. It was the perfect house for our family ski week. We had a blast at the house. The master bedroom and second bedroom are perfect for couples. The third room had three beds and was perfect the solo folks on our trip. The kitchen had everything we needed for breakfasts and dinners (my mother does the cooking and loved it). The balconies and views were to die for. The sunrise and sunset were like nothing any of us had seen before. The location was perfect, too. It took 15 minutes to get to Palisades and 20 minutes to get to Homewood. You're about 5 minutes from Tahoe City (several great restaurants, bars, grocery stores, etc.). The hosts were fantastic, too. We had a couple questions on the day we arrived, and they were extremely helpful. Like I said, A+ rental. We will be back!

Views all day long! We would love to come back every year to this lovely condo. Skied Palisades and Northstar during the week. Cozied up with puzzles, games and fireplace every evening. Appreciated the accommodations...3 bed/3 bath!

While the owners were responsive to our requests we had not expected our vacation to be bothered with this sort of thing. Many of the issues were solved during our stay and we left a list of things that still needed to be done. Also, if you rent this property don't try to go after dark for the first time. The overall property is not well lit and the entry instructions are sketchy.
Over all we had a good stay and would recommend this property.

Memorable Stay at Chinquapin
Our second visit to this property was as memorable as the first. The spectacular lake views abound from every window and this well appointed home makes for a relaxing and most comfortable stay. The amenities in Chinquapin give guests many choices in activities whether it be the beautiful lake front walking path, tennis, swimming, or beach. We will return soon!

Summer stat
What a beautiful cabin and atmosphere around! Chinqupin is absolutely stunning and very private. Plus the VIEW!! Pictures don’t do it justice! There’s a sandy beach that is a short walking distance from the cabin and we were easily able to go back-and-forth with the kids for meals (and sand toys!). There’s also a heated pool that was so much fun to play in for the kids and we felt no real need to ever leave the property. Although tubing down the Truckee River was pretty fun. Marion is delightful to work with and we had an issue, which was completely our own fault, and she was so great about the resolution. Thanks you Marion! Definitely a sky high recommendation.

This is a great home for a family vacation in a quiet part of Lake Tahoe. Views are outstanding, home is well-equipped (we did a puzzle) and the owner was extremely helpful. Enjoyed hikes, afternoon pool and lake swims and dinner both at the house and at Gar Wood. Thanks!
