Nestled in Comox, this lovely cottage for $172 per night is a great option for your next trip. Fully furnished self contained one bedroom self catering cottage with private entrance and patio and on site parking. Quiet country setting, yet five minutes from Downtown Comox. Nighly, weekly and monthly rates for two available, including welcome package of organic eggs, fresh bread, coffee, tea and homemade preserves. Pets welcome on approval. The kitchen was remodeled in May 2020 with beautiful new cupboards and stainless steel appliances. Longer term stays available. Brand new luxury Queen Sized bed in separate bedroom with Queen Sized sofa bed in living room. Fully furnished with washer and dryer and fully stocked kitchen. WIFI, cable and large flat screen TV. Private patio with table and chairs and barbecue. Five minutes to Downtown Comox and Comox Harbour and Floatplanes to Vancouver. 10 minutes to Comox International Airport (YQQ). Whatamenities our guests have enjoyed the most - private entrance and secure parking--very well equipped kitchen, comfortable bed and linens, quiet and convenient location-country location yet two minutes to town-and super clean and well maintained.

This property is situated in a quiet area of Comox with mixed urban and rural characteristics. The rental property has many positive, and a few negative, attributes. Pros: The hosts are welcoming; the gardens and landscaping are attractive - humming birds and bald eagles frequent the area; the bedding and towels are not only clean, they are free of obtrusive scents; the clothes washer and dryer work well. Cons: The queen bed consists of a box spring and traditional coil mattress that lacks support: Sleepers are rolled toward the middle of the bed; stomach sleepers may experience neck and back pain - issues that a new memory foam mattress would resolve. The kitchen and bathroom are appointed with what appear to be leftovers from previous guests, namely partly used bottles of balsamic vinegar, cooking oils, spices, and containers of shampoo.

I loved staying here. The cottage is just perfect. Clean, very nicely decorated with its own yard. The hosts are wonderful people who made us feel welcome. I would certainly book this place again.

The perfect location for the ultimate getaway. A cozy cottage with everything you need, including backyard space, and privacy. I was so happy to be able to share this trip with my dog. It was spectacular and I will be back for sure.

We were greeted right away and let in and were brought warm bread and fresh eggs etc and our chocolate lab was welcomed. Such a nice quiet area to stay. Could hear a pin drop at night and we had everything we needed in the cottage. Would highly recommend

Their gorgeous space was thoughtfully appointed with everything one could want, even dog towels and bowls. It really is its own separate home with its own gate entrance and yard space, and the door key code made coming and going easy. Stores aren’t walking distance, but goose spit is a beautiful 20-minute walk away. This is a family-friendly neighborhood that felt very safe. John and Lu were responsive and kind, checking in on me for any small concerns. The WiFi and television signal could be spotty, so a working holiday might be more of a challenge, but I enjoyed being more unplugged in this beautiful space. The homemade loaf of bread, jam, milk, butter, and fresh eggs were welcome after a long flight. I look forward to staying with John and Lu again, as we have family in the area. Their space truly felt like a home away from home. What a gem.

Lovely, quaint & clean cottage with everything we could want & more for our 4 night stay. The queen bed was so comfy with lots of cozy blankets. Lu and John have thought of everything to make your stay cozy and private. The kitchen is well stocked, the bed is comfortable and so is the living room furniture. The private yard has lovely flowers with a peaceful sitting area as well as a great BBQ and patio table. We especially loved the fact that our dog was welcome too! There is so much to do in the area and the cottage is close to beaches,trails,golfing and shopping. We hope to return again someday

Great spot in Comox. Felt like we were away from it all, yet only minutes to groceries, the beach, and other amenities. Clean and comfortable and it had everything we needed. We hope to be back soon :-)

This cottage was probably the most charming bnb I’ve ever rented. It was quiet, comfortable, clean, well-stocked, had all the amenities I needed, was close to town--and the owners, Lu and John, were consummate hosts. Additionally, the woods across the street were delightful to look at and to walk through. I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect place to stay in pretty Comox. I was there for five weeks and wouldn't hesitate to rent it again for any length of time.

We had a wonderful time staying at Lu and John's cottage for the weekend while exploring the Comox area. Despite the hosts being away, they had a kind friend (thanks Shirley!) who stayed up late to help us check in. We were so happy to get welcome treats of cottage-fresh eggs, fresh bread and jam and a host of essentials for the first morning. The home is bright, warm and very comfortable and our whole family enjoyed our time there. Our toddler still speaks of 'the cottage' several days after our visit - we'll hold happy memories of our time here and hope to be back soon!

We were very happy with our rental and friendly hosts. They met us when we arrived even though we were very late. The gift of goodies came in very handy for breakfast our first morning- bread,jam and fresh eggs from the girls. We enjoyed the location as it was quiet but very handy to all that Comox has to offer. The cottage is very warm and comfortable, and lacks for nothing. It is well situated for exploring the Comox/Courtenay area, and is in walking distance to downtown Comox. Next time we’ll order up some better weather!

Lu and John, communicated with us on route and greeted us upon arrival . Fresh baked bread, preserves and eggs were a special gift on arrival. They respected our privacy, but responded to any requests. The accommodations were very spacious , cozy and well appointed. We had all the comforts of home away from home . A very nice experience, we recommend this to anyone.

The hosts were amazing & very welcoming--yummy treats left to welcome us were an especially thoughtful gesture. Property is private & comfortable. Everything was clean & well managed. Great yard for pets, though very small ones would have the opportunity to escape under certain parts of the fence (it wasn't an issue for us as we had our dogs on a stake/ cable system while in the yard). The cottage is slightly smaller than the pictures suggest, but not in any inconvenient way; we did not feel cramped at all. Pretty much everything you would need to stay comfortably is provided. We especially love the yard, & the close proximity to all the walks & beaches. Bonus: Fresh eggs are available to be purchased on the property, & the neighbor had delicious plums for sale during our stay!

This property is amazing, it is a real hidden gem. Lu and John are the nicest people and they welcomed us and our puppy Mabel who is only 4 1/2 months old. It was an amazing stay
