About this house rental
NEW Construction. This home was designed by architect and designer Sophie Metz and all furnishings and finishes are in keeping with her top notch Nantucket style.
This home is steps to the bike path, one mile from town, blocks from Steps Beach and minutes from many of the other great beaches on Nantucket. There is a 4200 square foot main house with two floors of living space, a 480 square foot guest house, finished basement, a 17x30 pool and 300 square feet of secluded patio space including 2 covered sitting areas and an outdoor fireplace and shower.
The main house has a spacious master bedroom on the main floor with a cathedral ceiling, three bedrooms on the second floor and one bedroom in the guest house and another bedroom in the finished basement. All bedrooms have their own full bathrooms. There is also an office, large cathedral ceiling in living room and two family rooms where people can spread out and have their own space. The house comfortably sleeps 14-16.
There are large windows and sliding doors that all face the backyard, guest house and pool area. There is a large patio with shaded area as well as an infinity pool. The guest house has its own porch with overhang and outdoor fireplace. There is a yard below the pool area as well.
FIRST FLOOR
-Large fully equipped chef's kitchen with all needed appliances, plenty of dishes, glasses and serving plates.
-Dining room table seats 10-12 people.
-Large living room with large flat screen TV, fireplace and sliding doors that line the wall to the backyard.
-Office with doors for privacy.
-Powder room.
-Family room off of kitchen with flat screen TV.
-Master bedroom with cathedral ceiling, king bed and access to back yard.
-Master bathroom with walk in shower, tub, double vanities.
SECOND FLOOR
-2nd Bedroom has one king bed with its own bathroom with shower.
-3rd Bedroom has two full beds with its own bathroom with shower.
-4th Bedroom has one king bed with its own bathroom with shower (note: 4th bedroom is above the MBR and is accessed by its own staircase making for its own private suite).
-Sitting room/2nd family room with flat screen TV.
FINISHED BASEMENT
- Large living room with Large screen TV.
- Bunk Room with 4 full beds and full bath.
- Powder room.
GUEST HOUSE
-family room opens to pool area with pull out couch and flat screen TV.
-bathroom with shower with access from the pool area.

This was the epitome of a five star stay. The host, Heather, was amazing. She provided every detail needed to make the entire stay an absolute breeze, and she was very accommodating to various requests we made ahead of and during the stay. The home is incredible — the pictures don’t do it justice and we (three families with kids ranging from 4 to 16) can seriously find no flaws with the home. It’s got all the basics and then every kitchen gadget you can imagine, several sitting rooms that are perfect for any generation, and a beautiful and private outdoor oasis. Bedroom, furnishing, bathrooms, everything was what you would expect from a modern high quality home on Nantucket. The location is great as well — easy walk to downtown, beaches, and then it’s right on a bike path (which is often not the case in Nantucket so this was perfect for the kids). All and all, can’t say enough about our experience here and we hope to book the property again next time we come to Nantucket.
