About this house rental
Located in Bisbee, this attractive house for $131 per night is a great option for your next break. The Shackleton home is a modern house in the center of Old Bisbee .The living room has high ceiling and real wood-burning fireplace. Beautiful patio accessed from living room through 12' opening bi-fold doors.The two bedrooms have French doors opening to the patio so when everything is open, outside and inside seem to merge. Bedrooms and bathrooms are in two separate wings of house that affords extra privacy when two couples are staying. The view from the patio is towards downtown and looks directly at the mountains, particularly the iconic 'B' mountain which is straight ahead. Downtown is a 5min walk, max. There are about 12 gentle wide steps to the property. There is off street parking for two compact cars. The house is built of Rastra and the walls are 11” thick which offers good insulation; AC in both bedrooms only. Each bedroom has its own bathroom close by. The town has good restaurants and bars in short walking distance from house in both directions, about 200 yards, 5 min walk. Food store High Desert Market just a few minutes walk away. House particularly affordable because only extra charge is State Tax (and VRBO booking fee), No cleaning charge, No damage deposit, no pet fee, Two day minimum apart from holidays when it is 3. Loved everything about this place - the layout, the cleanliness, the beds, THE VIEW, communication from the hosts - it was all perfect. It's fun to check out new places when traveling, but I don't see any reason to not make this my regular stayover spot when I go to Bisbee. Thanks to Cedric & Coco for the wonderful stay!

This house is very, very nice! So cosy and comfy, that it's sadly time to leave.
Well equipped kitchen and comfortable furnishings exceeded our expectations. Details such as a nice variety of books, movies and music, made it easy to settle into a pleasant mood.

This property was clean, cozy, and in the perfect location. It is walking distance to lots of restaurants and shops. Everything was exactly how it looked in the listing. It was very clean and comfortable. We will definitely keep this place in mind for future visits!

What an ADORABLE & "quirky" lil' town. This home added to the experience! PERFECT for us. Most homes built into the hillside & most have lots of stairs. We chose this property bc:
*Walking distance to town (if willing to walk up/down a hill). Directly on BZB 1000 course!
*Minimal stairs to front door (think carrying luggage, groceries, etc in/out!)
*Pkg: Most rentals have street pkg, this property has dedicated pkg spot & flat)
*Lg patio w/ small grassy area for dog
And the best part..entire "middle" of house has swinging doors that open to patio & views of town/mtns!!

*SPACIOUS!! 2b/2b never felt so open!
*Perfect for 2 couples traveling together. Each bedroom & full bath are located at separate ends w/ L room, kitchen & outdoor patio in between. Each couple can have privacy & share the lg common area. Even had room in L Room for my exercise bike
*Washer/dryer: nice to have for longer stays
*Cheaper than hotel & get all the space!
Don’t come to BZB expecting traditional 5 star accommodations. I don’t believe that exists here? Come to BZB & choose your rental based on uniqueness, charm & amenities you look for.

My sister and I enjoyed this home very much! It’s the perfect location and it’s so cozy. We shopped during the day, enjoyed the artistry, friendly shop keepers, and the hot tub when we returned. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

We had a great stay at Cedric's home. It was spacious, clean, and very walkable to all the best places in Old Bisbee. We really enjoyed the outdoor space and the big windows and doors that brought in a ton of great light. Cedric was very communicative and which made the entire stay seamless. The kitchen was stocked with all the cooking and eating items necessary, but it would've been great to have some coffee on hand since coffee shops open a bit later in the morning, as it would've been great to watch the sunrise on their awesome outdoor space. Besides that very minor thing, we would most definitely stay here again. Thank you Cedric!

PS. Do the Qween Mine Tour, it's well worth the $14 price per person. Also, visit and buy some amazing pizza from Gus the Greek at Pizzarama. Pro Law Enforcement and he's quite the character! Trivia...Maybe you can find out why the book, "Shackleton", is in the library in the house.

The house was perfect. It was very clean, quiet, comfortable and at a convenient location. The only problem we had was someone parked in front of the entrance which made it difficult to get in and out since the car was parked in front of the stairs. This was in no way the fault of the owner. We will definitely book there again when we go back to Bisbee.

We loved this place. It was very comfortable and clean; felt right at home. Heated concrete floors, cool views, easy walkable location and a good variety of spices are a stand outs. It was peaceful from beautiful sunrises to evening fires. Great communication with the owner. A bonus for us was that our dog was more than welcome!

2 couples enjoyed our stay at this beautiful Bisbee home! Clean, very well appointed, easy check-in and comfy! We also liked the home's layout....Having the 2 bedrooms/2 bathrooms on opposite sides of the home was ideal! Both bedrooms and the living area had direct access to the oversized patio. Highly recommend this home. It was a 5 star experience for us! Cedric is a 5 star host/owner! Thank you so much for the opportunity to stay...we look forward to returning our next vacation to Bisbee!

Everything was wonderful! It was a great location. The property was very clean and beautiful. We only wish we had stayed longer. It was a great place for our dogs and for two couples or a couple with a guest to stay - both bedrooms were very nice and the layout of the house was great!
Cedric was super responsive and gave great instructions.
We will definitely stay there again and suggest it to anyone looking for this size property!

Booked this place for Sidepony #9 Music Festival. Property was fantastic and communication with Cedric was super easy. Heading back from downtown is a bit of an uphill climb but who couldn't use some more exercise?
