Took a girls trip up to Seqioia National Park and found Maile's Cottage to be just as advertized, a cozy historic cottage with ample amenities, located in a great location with access to dining and fuel. Only 5 miles from the park entrance with a nice drive to get there. Robin was very communicative and even had a lovely note and sign welcoming myself, my group and even my pup. She also swung by to drop of some special coffee beans that she forgot to bring beforehand. She was very welcoming as was the home. Only item of note, when the heater is in use, the upstairs bedroom gets really warm.

Great location for exploring Sequoia National Park! Very comfortable, well-furnished house, perfect for family and friends gatherings. Spacious inside and out. The three bedrooms and two baths allowed for spreading out and privacy. The kitchen had everything we needed and the owner, Robin, provided a few extras for our Thanksgiving cooking. We were so happy to find this gem in the heart of Three Rivers!

Took our teens to visit Sequoia national park. This house was perfectly situated close to the park entrance and with walking distance to a nice little brewery on the river. We felt very welcomed and the house had everything we needed. Would love to visit again.

This little cottage has it all; location, amenities, and comfort. The cottage has a great location with easy access to Sequoia National Park, local restaurants, Three Rivers Brewing and a well-stocked Village Market. Amenities were thoughtful from extra toiletry items to nightlights. The kitchen had ample glassware, plates and utensils. The beds and pillows were comfortable and we relaxed in the dining and living rooms each evening. I would stay here again when traveling to Three Rivers!

This vintage cottage is amazing,
Immersed in nostalgia and yet, has all the creature comforts.

After being cancelled last minute by another host, I was in a bind to find something quick. I came across this cottage, and I am so thankful I did. Everything was perfect. The location was exactly where we needed to be, whereas the previous place was over an hour further from Sequoia. This is right in the heart of town, within walking distance to the brewery and frozen yogurt. The cottage itself was comfortable, plenty of room for our family of 5, and the games were a nice touch! We enjoyed a few of them on the beautiful patio table. Robin was a fantastic host- very responsive to messages, kind, and ensured the house was well stocked even with an “in case you forgot” bucket. She has thought of everything. Thank you for saving our trip!

Robin's adorable, cozy cottage was perfect for our family! After being in Sequoia National Park all day it was so nice to come back to a comfortable place to relax and spend time with our family. The house had everything we needed and more! Plus, Robin was so kind to call and share advice for visiting the park, hikes and more! We will definitely come back!

We enjoyed our stay at this nicely decorated historical cottage! The location was convenient for dining and sightseeing, and we enjoyed the patio area in the evenings. The house was clean and well stocked. We also appreciated being able to bring our dog. We would stay here again if we returned to the area and would recommend the property to others!

We had a great stay! This property feels very secluded so there’s a lot or privacy but it’s within walking distance to local shops, restaurants, coffee shops, froyo/shaved ice, etc. It’s also a short drive to Sequoia National Park. The house had everything we needed including very comfy beds!

Excellent location. Cozy house that was nice to come home in the evening. Loved the little breakfast nook area that was sunny in the mornings. The rosemary plant smelled nice in the yard landscaping. Loved the fresh coffee beans that were provided and a coffee grinder for making coffee to start the day.

Our trip to be with the Big Trees
The location is perfect for seeing Sequoia and Kings Canyon Parks. Kathy loved the little things n the house that make the stay feel like a home. It was very hot during the day, yet the air conditioning kept pace. Very comfortable, would recommend highly.

Location, location, location
We chose this property over others based on location and it did not disappoint. The place was clean, the beds comfortable and the ability to walk to coffee, yogurt, dinner & drinks made it ideal. Using the bottled water was much less of a headache than I thought it may be as we didn't even make it through even one of the bottles provided while there for 3 nights. Upstairs can get quite warm and this wasn't a particularly hot weekend. During hot months you will want to be using that AC. I'm also glad we weren't closer to the Ash Man entrance as later in the day the traffic going into the park would be a nuisance to try to navigate. Overall a comfortable place to stay and experience the beauty of SNP!

We didn't actually stay at Maile's Cottage due to a plumbing problem. Robin was extremely accommodating and found us another(larger) place to stay. We appreciated her efforts to make sure we were comfortable. Thanks Robin!

Nice country home
Older country home. Clean except some cobwebs. Great amenities like huge dvd selection, toiletries, plenty of soap and shampoo. Right across the road from a good brewery, little market, sandwich shop and restaurant. Despite also being across the street from the river, no easy river access which was a bummer. Really good and easy communication with the host, who texted us personally to welcome us and ensure we had a nice stay. Water from sink isn’t potable, but the host provided some filtered water. Great for a family that wants to be on the main road, in the middle of a little town.

We very much enjoyed our stay here. The description was accurate. The space was clean and charming. The amenities, furniture,, bedding and interior were surprisingly well done and comfortable for a historic home. It looked like some of the exterior had not worn well during the winter (neighboring fence was in disrepair) but I expect that happens in any area with extreme weather changes and they will correct.

We had a quiet and comfortable stay.
The beds were very comfortable.
There is only one television which was a challenge for our teenage children and my elderly mother that doesn’t get out much.
Additionally, the picture of the river was a little misleading as the property is not connected to the river and there is not access within walking distance.
The power went out several times when using the microwave and coffee pot at the same time.
The owners were very warm and did their best to assist.
