Really enjoyed our stay at Heron Hideaway. This charming rental is off the beaten path in Three Rivers, on a large lot with no close neighbors and adjacent to the river just a 2-3 minute walk. The rental has everything you will need - well stocked kitchen, towels, bedding, bathroom supplies, BBQ. The beds are comfortable and everything in the rental is up-to-date, modern appliances, etc. Three Rivers main area with restaurants, market and the coffee shop are about a 5-10 minute drive away. Robin was a very attentive host and responded immediately with any of our questions. She also provides lots of nice personal touches and back up bathroom supplies which goes above and beyond imo. We’ll be back!

What a fantastic property and wonderful manager! And it's *truly* dog friendly too.
The pictures don't do this one enough justice. At all times the views are great and the sound of the river in the distance soothes the soul.
Fully recommended.

Our family needed a place to stay for a long wedding weekend and Heron hideaway was the perfect choice!
Communication with the property manager was easy and quick.
Coffee and food in town is a five minute drive away and access to Sequoia is just a few more minutes up the road. The river is lovely and refreshing. The patio and deck area is surrounded by trees without site line to any other properties. Feels like your own secluded oasis.
Thanks!

The house was perfect for our stay. It was clean and cozy and had everything needed. Perfect serene retreat to relax after our day of hiking. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a place close to Sequoia National Park.

Beautiful, comfortable, quiet! This is the perfect place to relax after a day of exploring the nearby national parks.

The property was wonderful, as was the house. For an older person, it was a little difficult getting down to the river, but once there, we caught fish on our first 2 casts. It was an extremely comfortable home and we loved the back porch area. Everything was accurately stated in the VBRO description. Neighbors were not close, but one had their music blasting well into the night on Saturday. The property manager Robin, was amazing. She Promptly took care of a small issue we had, and was very respectful of our privacy. I can only give this property a 5 star rating, though we won't be going back. Not sure what it was, but my adult son and his little girl had extreme allergy flareups while we were there.

We had an amazing time at Hide-Away. Robin is an excellent host. She was available for us throughout our stay and made sure we were able to find the place since we were arriving so late. She even left some lights on for us. The best part for us is she welcome my family and pups with a beautiful welcome sign.

Appreciated the stay. Cleanest vrbo I’ve stayed in. A/C is quiet and strong. I was a bit surprised with the amount of paperwork needed prior to the stay but the rental is professionally managed by a competent property manager. The creek was not clear and current seemed dangerous during our stay so we did not visit it unfortunately.
I think it would be better to include the list of chores into the cleaning fee. The rental requires guests to take off all bed linens, pillowcases and towels upon check out. Also the rental does not have a dishwasher.

What a perfect place to stay for our family of 4 while visiting Sequoia National Park. Robin was extremely accommodating and so prompt with communication… The kitchen was great with everything we needed for a several day stay. The house was amazing and the property just gorgeous! Thanks for making this a wonderful get away!!!

We had a great stay. Location convenient to Sequoia and Kings Canyon. Local eateries very good.

Wanted a secluded river front property big enough to accommodate my family of 5 and 2 large Labradors. This place met every expectation. Amenities spot on. Very comfortable house close but not too close to the water. Just right. Great place to lay out and tan and close to town for dinner, groceries and a great hike up salt creek to the water falls. Robin is great. Very good communication. Can’t say enough. Thanks Robin!!!

Robin was the perfect host. She thinks of everything. Great rental, immaculately clean, well stocked kitchen and peaceful, beautiful view of the river. We even saw a deer in the yard. Highly recommend.

We had a great time, the home is beautiful, the sound of the river is amazing. We saw the heron twice, quail, garter snakes & one tiny mouse.
Our daughters & granddaughter loved the swimming hole. They also went river rafting, hiking to a waterfall and had a picnic under Morro Rock, just inside Kings Canyon National Park.
We have been renting homes, RVs & houseboats for 11 years all have been unique. This was special.

We loved the property so much! The privacy offered at the Heron was wonderful. The large, gated property with plenty of private creek frontage was a perfect fit! The house was clean and beautifully furnished. We especially enjoyed the screen room adjacent to the master bedroom. Robin was a great host. Great communication and a desire to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. I would highly recommend this property and the host Robin to anyone.

We booked this house as a home base for our visit to Sequoia NP. The house was exactly as pictured - spacious, clean and well-appointed. It is was obvious the owners put a lot of thought into the details of this home. It felt so welcoming and warm and emblematic of its surroundings! Would definitely recommend!!

We very much enjoyed Thanksgiving week this year at Heron Hideaway. The home is spacious and cozy (heated floors) and the grounds are lovely. So many stars at night!

This is a clean and comfortable property - we really enjoyed our stay. Centrally located in Three Rivers - we were close to everything we wanted to do. Literally a 2 minute walk to the river for fishing - although it was a little low for swimming this time of year (to be expected) - We even saw a bear! Manager was prompt to respond when we had questions - everything was great. Will definitely come again and have already recommended it to friends. Thank you!

A group of three girlfriends decided to check off the Sequoia National Forest from our bucket list the year of our 50th bday. One came from Washington DC, the other one from Champaign, IL and the other one from Sacramento, CA.
This beautiful cabin exceeded our expectations and even the VRBO listing.
In addition to comfortable beautifully decorated rooms, every detail was thought of, down to magnificent body wash shampoo, conditioner, make up remover wipes, thick bath towels, remote control fan, dark shades, coffee mugs, board games, spices, books, wifi, place mats, extra blankets, laundry soap, hiking maps and books, etc.
The kitchen is completely stocked with everything needed to make a gourmet meal, including great knives and cutting boards, coffee maker, omelet pans, etc.
One just needs to bring the food to cook and there is a market about a mile away. And if you don’t want to cook, there are also wonderful restaurants and the Three Rivers Brewery right down the street. Highly recommend all of them too.
Robin, the property owner, is easy to communicate with and very responsive via text or phone call. We did not need her but kept her abreast of our arrival and departure. She is magnificent. We cannot wait to come back.

Robin rents out a beautiful home at three rivers with river access. Check river conditions before booking if you intend to use the river. It might not be able for use due to some toxic algea blooms. My family, dogs and I loved our stay. Suggestion for Robin would be to get outside trashcans with a heavy lock. Some animals would always tip trash over and have fun even night. Besides that we all had a wonderful time. Will rebook next year if it's available.

Amazing experience! Great accommodations - the place was beautiful & Robin is an excellent host! Highly recommend staying here!

The house was exactly as described. We loved the "woodsy" feel. The layout was perfect for our family - as grandparents stayed on one side of the house and family (parents, 2 grandchildren) had the opposite side of the house. Appreciated the DVD library and games. Robin, the host, was the best! She was an excellent communicator and very accommodating.

The property was conveniently located near the entrance of Sequoia National Park and groceries, restaurants, gas, etc. The house was lovely and clean, well stocked, and it was great (necessary because of very limited cell service in the area) to have wifi, as well as laundry. The property and surrounding area were beautiful and it was fun to sit on the cozy porch, hang on the patio and grill, and dip in the river on hot days. The manager was welcoming, responsive, and helpful, and we even enjoyed a great chat with the friendly housekeeper on our way out. It was a wonderful trip, the park was amazing, and the house made it perfect. We would love to return some time! Thanks for having us!
