The studio was very nice and clean, comfortable beds and was in a good location right next to Lidl. The owner is very nice, answered all our questions in messages.
You need to park right by the stairs and block half the footpath and sometimes the neighbors park into your spot but you cannot do anything about it. We talked with some people living there and it seems like they are not very happy with the apartments being used for short term stays, one girl was specifically rude to us when she couldn’t move her car even that she was the one who parked on a bad angle.
The studio’s door and window opens to the street without any fly screens so it was impossible to open the window because the apartment was covered in mosquitos if we did.

We had a wonderful stay at Step to Kotor Bay guest house. Mika was incredibly kind, welcoming and helpful throughout our stay, and made everything very easy for us.
The guest house was spotlessly clean, very comfortable and perfectly located in the centre of Kotor, making it ideal for exploring the city on foot. Everything was exactly as we hoped for.
We are very grateful for Mika’s hospitality and would definitely recommend staying here. We would happily come back!

The apartment is functional, comfortable, and equipped with everything needed for a pleasant stay.
It is evident that the host has put thought into providing furnishings and amenities that make guests feel at home rather than just staying in a rental property.
The parking space in front of the apartment is not physically reserved, so its availability cannot always be guaranteed.
Although converted into an apartment, the property still retains some characteristics of a former commercial space. The direct entrance from the promenade makes it feel less private and may be better suited to students or younger travelers than to families.
The apartment has limited natural light and ventilation, which is particularly noticeable in the evening.
The tourist tax was charged separately upon arrival, whereas the booking information indicated that all taxes and fees were included in the total price.
