Nestled in Kirkwood, this lovely condo for $215 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. This "modern marvel" has all the elements of a mountain retreat mixed with new furnishings! Ski in/out for cross-country and right next to the slopes for Alpine boarding and skiing. Meadow Stone Lodge is absolutely the number one preferred vacation rental in Kirkwood. The reason is you are located in the center of all the action from cross-country out the back and getting on the lifts in the front. This home is particularly special because the views are to die for and the open living room makes for a wonderful gathering place for your family and friends. Fresh new construction also shows its best with granite counters, radiant floor baseboard heating, wood windows and a balcony facing the meadow. This home is a three bedroom with a loft for extra sleeping and fun times for the kids. Bedrooms: 3 Bedroom + Loft - Sleeps 10 - 2,172 square feet. - Primary Bedroom Ensuite - Queen Bed, - Downstairs Guest Bedroom - Queen Bed, - Upstairs Bedroom Ensuite – Queen bed, - Loft Room - Twin over twin bunk and twin/twin trundle bed, - Linens included. Bathrooms: 3 Bathrooms - We provide towels, soap, shampoo, conditioner and hairdryer. We were extremely happy with this property. The views of the meadow and mountains can’t be beat. There was plenty of space for our two families (4 adults and three kids). The property faced away from the ski mountain which protected us from the all night snow grooming noise. It was an easy walk to the Kirkwood lodge and to the shuttle stop for the Timber Creek ski area. The assigned underground garage parking is a nice bonus, especially when it was time to pick kids up from ski school mid day. We didn’t have to worry about loosing our parking spot. We would absolutely stay in this unit again.

Great stay!
We had a great time at Krikwood and our VRBO rental. It was clean and comfortable and had all the amenities we could want.
Our only complaint is with the VRBO website/communication portal. It was difficult to communicate with our host as the VRBO inbox was not functioning properly.

Great location and comfy home
Our family of 4 enjoyed our ski trip with two other families at this rental home. It is located on the top of a 4 story building near both the cross country ski tracks and alpine ski lifts. The entrance to the building is not very visible especially at night. But, the rental home is very spacious with comfy beds and well-stocked kitchen. The unit heater is very strong, and we felt quite warm and cozy during our stay. Hot water is great too. One of the bathrooms had a problem, and we contacted the rental office and they came quickly to fix it. We will definitely remember this place and come back again.

Spacious condo in great location
We had an excellent stay at the condo. It is spacious enough for 10 people, and well appointed.
The location is perfect - just a couple of minute walk to the Corniche Express. So everyone could leave and come back from the slopes when they wanted.
The views from the balcony and two of the bedrooms is beautiful and peaceful.

Spacious 3 bed room plus loft. Easy access to ski lift (less than 5 minute walk).
Property was clean, and in a good condition overall. WiFi and TV set-up was great and sufficient to keep teenagers and kids occupied. Easy check-in with ample parking. Kitchen has all appliances and had all pots/pans/plates etc needed to cater for a group of 8. Highly recommended.

We went when the air quality suddenly went bad. The unit did not have air conditioning so we we were stuck in the unit hot with all the windows closed. They provided 3 electric fans, not enough though bec there were 4 bedrooms. We asked for an air purifier they did not have any. The place was also a little dusty. The bathroom lock in the masters and common area were broken. The common bathroom was dirty.

The location is not very good, a bit tangled and very little parking !! only 3 cars. They do not give you that notice before renting the house. The overall stay was fine and comfortable. And a long way from South Lake Tahoe. For the distance, location and little parking I give it a 7 rating.

Nice, comfortable condo, centrally located in Kirkwood - though little is open in the valley (and that was the point, for us) - plenty of hiking nearby and biking seemed well-distanced. Property management service was on-point and helpful.
