Situated in Estero Island, this lovely condo for $133 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. There’s so much to love about Santa Maria 208; its convenient canal-front location on the quiet southern end of Fort Myers Beach, the amenities (including heated pool and hot tub) of the beautifully maintained condo complex and of course the two-bedroom unit itself. The screened-in balcony of Santa Maria 208 overlooks the pool. It’s furnished with a table and chairs so that you can enjoy after-dinner drinks--or even dinner!--out among the salt-kissed breezes and the rustling palm trees. Or you can keep open the sliding glass balcony doors and let the fresh air perfume the spacious, elegant living room. With its generously proportioned leather sofas, large HDTV, and sophisticated decor, this is a room designed for lounging in style and comfort. There’s enough space to invite friends over for a movie-and-game night and even to spend the night: One of the sofas opens into a bed for two, so that Santa Maria 208 can sleep up to six people total. When you’re not eating on the balcony, at one of the complex’s outdoor grill areas, or in one of the many restaurants within walking distance, you can dine at the unit’s luxe table, which can accommodate six people with ease. The well-padded chairs are so comfortable, you’ll be happy to linger long after the meal is over. Updated with new appliances in the spring of 2019, the kitchen has everything (except food!) to satisfy your culinary needs: appliances, cookware, prep tools, tableware, and plenty of storage so that you can stock up on groceries at the beginning of your stay. There’s even a blender for whipping up milkshakes or margaritas plus a dishwasher--after all, why scrub plates when you can be lounging by the pool! For the same reason, Santa Maria 208 has its own washer and dryer as well. The two bedrooms are serene sanctuaries featuring brand new mattresses that make it easy for you to catch up on your sleep. The primary bedroom includes a truly luxe king-size bed, an HDTV and more than enough storage. The second bedroom is nearly as grand, with a queen-size bed and new 32-inch flat screen TV that makes Santa Maria 208 as well suited for two couples as for a family. Each bedroom has its own full-size bathroom--no waiting on line in the morning! The beds will be freshly made when you arrive, and clean towels and extra bedding will be waiting; if you want to take a nap or a bath your first order of business, you can! Though once you see the spectacular heated pool, you may want to take a swim first thing. The pool just might be the largest on Fort Myers Beach; it’s certainly among the nicest. After your swim--or your soak in the hot tub!--stretch out on one of the poolside lounge chairs and watch seabirds soar overhead. Don’t forget your sunscreen: The ambiance is so relaxing, you just might fall asleep out there! Santa Maria also has deck areas outfitted with gas grills, tables, and chairs so that you can barbecue and dine alongside the canal. As well as boats parading by, you just might see manatees frolicking in the water! Not only is Santa Maria located right on a canal, but it’s also next to a marina, where you can rent a pontoon or charter a fishing boat. Like the water but not boating? You can walk to the Gulf of Mexico and the beach in less than five minutes. Swim, race jet skis, search for shells or simply watch the dolphins and manatees play in the serene waters. Also within walking distance are a golf course, restaurants, shops, and the trolley that runs the length of the island, making it easy to get to the fun of the Times Square area on the northern end without having to drive. A few miles south is Lovers Key State Park, where you can hike, bike, canoe and kayak among bald eagles, marsh rabbits, sea turtles and even alligators. The property and location was fantastic. What was extremely disappointing was the installation of the pool fence which we were not made aware of cause us to lose 3 days of pool access. Also, the building maintenance that took place, which we were also not made aware of prior to our stay. This maintenance started as early as 7:15 in the morning and ran all day with extremely loud machines that forced us to leave the residence because they were so loud. Water came into our room from the work bein done outside. I made several calls to to distinct vacation rentals and still have not received a call back from the manager as I was promised. This was extremely disappointing that no heads up was given to any of the residents staying on the grounds.

Nice condo and met our needs. I didn’t like that we were given exactly 4 towels for the whole week for the four of us. I was constantly doing laundry it seemed. Overall a good stay and would recommend to others

We had a great time! The condo was in an amazing location, walking distance to several restaurants and shops. We enjoyed the pool and BBQ areas. Fort Meyers was very busy but our condo made us feel a step away from some of the craziness that is spring break. Would definitely recommend!

Having stayed in Fort Myers 8 times in the past year.(beginning to be habit) I have stayed in varying units on the south end of the island. This unit was the best in many ways. The pool is outstanding...large quiet, clean with plenty of seating..The deck areas for grilling are unmatched in the other properties. Santa Maria is so well maintained. The grounds are spotless! The unit is great..beds were comfortable and the furniture cozy. Not over decorated and therefore relaxing. All combined this is my new favorite property and first to consider for upcoming trips. The only con would be the off site key pick up and drop off...the unit has a key code but apparently not usable? The requirement to pick up a key offsite AND have to carry with and keep track of was frustrating. Flight was in late and could not access the key kiosk..the need to call and be given a code to access door to get in to kiosk at off site building was stressful as we had already had a long day of travel. Please make code box workable. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Property and people in the area were nice. However the area is too crowded and traffic was a nightmare. It wasn’t possible for us to get to some of the spots we were interested in. I would not come to the area again.

The second flr. condo was in a good location on the south end of the island. Close to shopping and the beach. The pool area was wonderful. The condo was a bit dated and was not as clean as i would have like but was ok. Minimal cooking equipment. i.e. pots, pans and knives ect. I also thought it would have been nice to have some beach towels provided. We had to buy beach towels. The other condos we stay at always provided them. Second br did not have a tv . I would go back.
