About this house rental
Located in Alexandria Bay, this charming house for $300 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. In this uncertain time of COVID-19, I want our guests to know first and foremost that we are taking every precaution to ensure a clean and safe place to stay and be comfortable. Here are the details: Departure Cleaning -All departure cleans will be by a professional housekeeper. -The housekeeping team will have received thorough education and training in enhanced cleaning techniques due to the COVID-19 pandemic. -CDC approved cleaning agents will be used throughout paying extra attention to high contact, hard surfaces (door knobs, counters etc) as well as sanitizing safely soft surfaces. -Glasses and silverware will be removed from drawers and cabinets and sanitized in the dishwasher. For hygienic reasons, these items will be left sanitized and clean in the dishwasher for the rental guest’s or homeowner’s arrival. If time permits, housekeepers will, while wearing clean gloves, carefully place these items in the proper cabinet or drawer. -A new check-out time of 10:00am and check-in time of 4:00pm will be implemented to allow extra time for the cleaning. No guest check-in will be allowed until the housekeeper has completed the departure clean. Guests will receive a text message when the property is clean and ready for check-in. -If there are any questions or concerns about our new cleaning procedures, please don't hesitate to contact me directly. What accommodations can you expect when you arrive?... This new, open concept townhouse has a first floor kitchen with gorgeous granite counter-tops and a spacious breakfast bar that opens up into a wonderful entertainment space with waterfront views and lots of natural light. Sliding glass doors open up to a cozy deck with room to grill, entertain, and enjoy the harbor views. There is a spacious bedroom and full bathroom on the first floor, as well as a washer/dryer. The second floor is a loft style space that has 2 additional bedrooms and a full bathroom. Not to be missed, is the entry level boathouse where you can tie up your boat, jet skis, or kayaks and enjoy the beautiful, clear water of the St. Lawrence River. The Boathouse is equipped with an automatic garage door, where you can dock up to a 30ft boat. Whether you bring your own or rent one out in town, this is the most convenient access to a slip anywhere in town. There are also two Kayaks, and bikes for guests to take advantage of the gorgeous river views. The boathouse has direct access to the River via Harbor Inlet and Carnegie Bay and is one of 30 similar town-homes on the harbor. This beautifully decorated space has all of the comforts of being at home, without any of the stress. Fresh bed and bath linens are provided. Be among the first guests to enjoy this perfect spot on the river! This area is known for it's recreational boating activities as well as tremendous fishing. Although the best time for fishing is in **JUNE**, fishing is alive and active throughout the summer. Check out the links to NYS and ABAY fishing guides and area stats on what types of fish are out there and where. Walking distance to a vibrant downtown, that boasts several festivals and concerts throughout the summer to include classic car shows, motorcycle rallies, "concert in the park" events, food festivals, and the famous "Pirates Festival". So happy we chose this rental. We brought our own boat from VA. The marina is literally next door, opposite canal side from row of boathouse. The elevator/lift made bringing in luggage a breeze- carts available too. Close walk to town and on quiet street. Super comfortable furnishings, clean and fresh rooms towels linens, nautical touches throughout you really feel immersed in ‘The River’ life. The river and area cannot be justly described, it’s truly stunning. Hopefully you bring a boat, if not, a boat tour is a must to fully appreciate The 1000 islands. Boldt Castle was a worthy visit and this location could not be any easier to boat over and dock at castle or restaurants if you prefer float over feet! The men came to fish for smallmouth bass. The river is crystal clear; you can see bottom even at 25 ft deep, and it’s quite a sight to see the catch. There were always pretty little blue tail baitfish by the boathouse too. Geese, loons, heron, ducks, kayaking or lounging in balcony deck plenty of wildlife to admire. I did plenty of shopping in town, unplanned but couldn’t pass unique items for birthdays showers Christmas gifts. There’s much more than just touristy tee shirts. The museum is bigger than it appears and the staff are longtime locals, friendly and fun to hear interesting detail how the opulent life arrived in the islands. A week wasn’t enough time. We will be back and this rental is where we would choose again and again !

We enjoyed our stay. The unit was very clean and had everything we needed. The view was not what I expected when staying on the water, but perhaps that was my expectation. It looked over a small water way, with a run down house just across the water with trash (old tires and furniture on the lawn). We just chose to look to the left instead of straight across. It was right before the start of the season so they were prepping the boat slips which was fun to watch. We enjoyed the town and liked that it was close by.

The property was overall great and close to many things via boat or car. It was also especially nice that the launch was across the marina with trailer parking which made the entire process easy. We went most places by boat despite it being a little cloudy a few days. Laura was an amazing host and checked in on us throughout the stay to see if we needed anything via txt. Great property for the 4 of us (3 teen age kids 1 adult)

We really enjoyed staying at this property, it was comfortable, clean, everything worked, great location, and great communication with the property owner.
The boat house was a really nice feature, we brought our boat for fishing and exploring the islands. Alexandria Bay was a great little town with plenty of places to eat and the people were friendly.
We would definitely highly recommend this place if you are going to the thousand islands area.

My husband and I had a great stay at Lauren’s place! The condo was sparkling clean, well appointed, and the boathouse was absolutely perfect for our needs. Lauren was super responsive and everything worked out great. We look forward to coming back next year!

Great week at the RIVER we love. Property had everything we needed and super clean. The boathouse was amazeballs! Used the kayaks frequently. Rented a boat from Aquamania. Hope to be back next year! Would definitely stay here again.

Excellent Property right in Alex Bay!
This was my second time returning to this property and fourth time in the 1000 Islands. I always try and book this Villa if possible. I love being able to bring our boat and have it right at our house, as well as the option to walk to town. You are extremely close to Boldt Castle. The house is always clean and Lauren, the property owner is very responsive and responds quickly. From booking questions, wifi passwords, things to do, anything you may need during your stay she is always there to help.
