Located in Point Loma, this charming condo for $437 per night is a great choice for your next break. Live the life of luxury in our centrally located, newly built Cape Cod in the exclusive neighborhood of Mission Hills. Lounge on the deck and enjoy the sunset over Point Loma and warm ocean breezes. Watch Navy and cruise ships traverse San Diego Bay as one of the most active ports on the west coast. Marvel over the top of Heritage Square and its historic homes from the balcony. Walk to Presidio Park for a quick game of soccer or Old Town, the birthplace of California, for margaritas and delicious Mexican food. Also, very close to the Marine Corp Recruit Depot (MCRD) and we love hosting our military families. The bright and airy home has windows and sliding glass doors throughout every room overlooking spectacular views. Two master suites with large closets and ample space make it easy to travel with multiple adults, plus an additional bedroom with twin beds is perfect for children. The bathrooms have been newly renovated with a double vanity in the master bathroom, tub available in the hallway bathroom, and new shower in the second ensuite bathroom. The well-equipped home comes with a full kitchen, washer/dryer, and comfortable living room, making this a perfect sanctuary to relax or a launch pad for an active family vacation. Families will love the close proximity of two neighborhood parks, as well as major San Diego attractions, including Sea World, the San Diego Zoo, Balboa Park, Mission Bay and Beach, Petco Park, Gaslamp Quarter and many more. Mission Hills is a very walkable community with coffee houses, restaurants, and shops close by. Conveniently located close to two freeways (I5 and I8), La Jolla, Del Mar, Legoland and the Wild Animal Park are short trips. Even Mexico is only 20 minutes! The Mission Hills Cape Cod is a non-smoking environment. Mission Hills is a residential area and parties are not allowed. Please note this is a single level guest area (1,500 sq ft.) at the bottom of our family home that requires approximately 12 stairs to access. As it is located on a hill, the home enjoys unparalleled views of San Diego Bay, Point Loma, Old Town, etc. and includes a private deck.

I stayed here with two of my colleagues for an in-town conference. It was awesome to be able to stay together in one space for team building, but the location was also ideal for shooting in to the city and out to all of the great spots around San Diego. I highly recommend this to others!

USS Midway Museum, beautiful parks and beaches, baseball stadium, shopping, restaurants... it was the perfect get away.

The location was amazing. Our first time visiting San Diego and it was very easy to get to the Zoo, Petco Park, Little Italy, the Harbor and many other attractions. The home was beautiful. The views were stunning. We had a van as a rental and we were concerned about parking but we didn’t have a single issue! The owner was very friendly. They took the time to introduce themselves via message and when we saw them one night they said hello and asked if we needed anything! They left instructions in the home for the property. They had plenty of supplies in the house such as toilet paper and soap. Many rentals leave only one roll. I would stay at this location every time I visited SD. I’d give them 10 stars if I could.

This is the lower level of a very Beautiful Home in a Very Nice neighborhood. I do highly recommend it! It does not feel closed in at all! It has great views, and is beautifully decorated! We would stay there again for sure!

This is a beautiful house in the middle of beautiful neighborhood. The guest suite is on the bottom floor of the home, but you would never know it. We ran into the owners while parking and they were so nice and let us know that if there was anything we needed we could reach out. The suite was perfect, the outside patio was great for watching 4th of July fireworks. The beds were very comfortable and everything was high quality. The location was just what we were looking for; Elevated on the hillside, yet super close to everything. We were super happy with our stay.

The accommodations were perfect for us and our adult children. Beds and pillows were comfy. Great kitchen. Loved the smell of jasmine on the balcony and the views were outstanding. Easy access to 8 and walking to Hillcrest and Old Town. Highly recommend!

Well appointed home with a lovely view over the old town. Easy for two couples, as the kitchen and living room separate the bedrooms and bathrooms. Tasty Margaritas are just a short walk to the Old Town … where you can also pick up public transportation to Little Italy and the Gaslight District. We had a wonderful stay and our host was very accommodating!

The property was really quite nice and exactly as listed. It was a great location for going to the zoo and museums, as well as just a short walk down the hill to old town San Diego. Although outside there is a noticeable amount of traffic noise coming up from I-5 when out on the back porch, it is perfectly quiet inside the house. We would definitely stay here again.

Our stay was decent, the scenery was breathtaking, yet be aware of the house rules regarding cooking. The only issue we had was the fact that the A/C unit went out and couldn't be fixed until after our stay. We were offered boxed fans in which was peculiar to have 4 readily available. Our last night was uncomfortable due to being hot and the back corner room felt like a sauna even with 2 fans going. The video cameras made us a little nervous especially when we had the doors open and A/C off. It was not too far from excursions & eateries. Overall, we had a good time.

Used the outside table for meals. As this is the only dining table, I presume everyone eats out there. It has a nice view and is under cover.
It is a lot easier going down the stairs than when carrying items up.
The owners live in the 2 stories above. Only sound was the dog and it brought a smile to my heart. It is a lovely dog.
I recommend this apartment for anyone that does not have mobility issues. The 16 stairs could be a bit much.

From the description of the property I thought we had an entire home - not one the bottom floor. We were not allowed to use all of the outside premises. Plus one side of the downstairs was all windows with no blinds/shutters - yes the view was nice, but felt that it did not give us enough privacy. I would not stay at this home in the future for these reasons.

My sisters and I converged on this lovely hillside home for the weekend. It had all of the amenities you can think of, kitchen equipment, creature comforts both outdoors and in, and soft fluffy beds! We shopped and walked around Old Town, ate and drank loads of authentic Mexican and topped it all off by attending a black tie wedding for my cousin at Tom's Lighthouse! Jamie was very accommodating, recommending a spa and hair stylist that we arranged appointments with. Everything is a short drive away from this beautiful hidden gem on Presidio Hill! We can't wait to come back!

Wonderful stay in Mission Hills
My family and I stayed here on our vacation to San Diego and absolutely loved it. The property is beautiful, very clean and comfortable. The Mission Hills location is close to everything. We rented a car, and everything we did was a short drive of about 15 minutes. It was also nice to come back to our rental and relax at the end of the day. The views from the property are amazing. Jaime was a great host- thanks so much! I highly recommend this property!

The view from the deck is so lovely! We really enjoyed the outdoor seating on the deck everything was nice and clean. Lots of good family time. There was a bit of a complication upon arrival, as we never received the code to enter. But eventually we connected with the host and we were good to go. There was quite a bit of noise coming from upstairs, not sure if there was work going on (or maybe their adorable doggie- he made a cameo from upstairs- cutie-pie!) but it never stopped us from having a great stay. Would visit again- I volunteer to doggy-sit! ;) Thanks for letting us stay!

Stunning property!
This gorgeous house was the perfect place for 4 adult women to get away (even though we are locals) and celebrate a 50th birthday.
The house itself is clean, organized, decorated to perfection, includes all the amenities you could want, and was the absolutely ideal for our time together.
The 3 bedrooms are spacious, the closet space in each is generous, the bathrooms are great-excellent water pressure in the showers.
Beds are comfortable, sofa is cozy, kitchen is functional. The fact that there is also a full-length deck and laundry room is bonus.
The neighborhood is super quiet (again our apologies for being outside after 9 pm) and parking was not a problem at all.
Easiest communication with the property owner of any VRBO I've ever stayed at even let us check in early because the property was ready.
Many of the selling points were:
1. Checkout was noon instead of 10 am. We did not feel rushed at all.
2. Three separate bedrooms with bathrooms.
3. Pricing was affordable for our group.
4. Proximity to freeway and downtown.
5. Ease of location and parking.
6. Courtesy and communication with owner.
7. Well-maintained grounds and home.

We loved this property on nestled in the Mission Valley hills! The beautiful, updated home has a large veranda to enjoy the beautiful view of San Diego. Location was conveniently close to old town San Diego. Highly recommended!!
