Nestled in Santa Teresa Beach, this lovely house for $450 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. Casa Amore is a very private 2 acre Oceanfront Estate. We are located in front of a beautiful swimming bay on the Nicoya Peninsula in the heart of the Santa Teresa beach community. Casa Amore is perfectly situated with a perfect swimming bay just out front and miles of white sandy beaches that are great for surfing and boggy boarding. The beach is just steps from the house, enjoy walking the miles of pristine white sand beaches as you soak up sun and admire the natural costal surroundings. The Nicoya is famous for its natural beauty as well as its international community which brings high class art, music, and food from around the world. Casa Amore is a totally Air Conditioned home with 3 bedrooms. Each Bedroom contains their own bathroom. All rooms have their own thermostat for your comfort. The Bedrooms are all very large with sitting areas in each one. The master has a king bed, and the second bedroom also has a King bed and the third bedroom has 2 queens. A large lanai that wraps around 3/4's of the house. Each bedroom has its own private entrance to the lanai that leads to the beach. White Granite counter tops and white marble bathrooms are just a few of the qualities of this Spanish style hacienda. With a completely commercial high performance kitchen with a Subzero Fridge and a Commercial stove it is setup for entertaining many. As well as a chill out lounge located on the patio, that can accommodate everyone. As well as a large Costa Rican Made Teak dining table that accommodates 8, for meals surrounded by the beuatiful Nature surrounding Casa Amore. We have Several different fruit trees on the property including, Banana, Lemon, Sweet Lemon, Papaya, Avocado, Guayaba, and Sour Sap. Situated on a quiet bay at the beginning of Playa Santa Teresa and just after Playa Carmen. You will enjoy many species of iguanas and birds and monkeys both howler and white faced, as you make your way to the tidal pools located right out front. And epic Surf is just a 5 min. walk down the beach. This property is unique as it is in the heart of town with access to all amenities yet very private and secure. The knowledgeable onsite Caretaker/Concierege will be on hand to make your stay enjoyable. If you'd like to include yoga as part of your vacation, we have a yoga teacher that will come right to the property that can guide you through your practice that can be hired, whether you are a true beginner or a more seasoned yogi. We can also set up private Surf lessons, Horseback Riding tours, quad rentals, Massage, Zipline and more. If your looking to stay in, there are private chefs in the area that can come to the estate and prepare meals for your entire party, ask the Caretaker for details. Don't forget the Sunsets!!! Come together every evening with your friends and family to enjoy one of the wonders that will keep you coming back to Costa Rica. The colors are Awe Inspiring. You can’t get more beachfront than this perfectly located house in the cool beach/surfer town of Santa Teresa.
The house was spacious with plenty of room both inside and out. The air conditioner worked well (very much needed given the warm tropical climate).
Dustin was great and helped us organize an impromptu fishing trip where we caught 7 Dorado in 3 hours.
The beach in front was great for sunset watching and was an easy walk to surf breaks both north and south.
Restaurants were also all within walking distance. If you don’t want/need a pool - you’d be hard pressed to find a better place right on the beach! Best value in Santa Teresa!

Our week at Casa Amore was fabulous...the house was perfectly located, right on the beach and close to several great eateries and shopping. The kitchen was extremely well-stocked with everything we needed to make meals. Dustin the caretaker could not have been more user-friendly...great recommendations and solved any issues that we had. Overall, a tremendous experience!

Casa Amore was the perfect place to say for our two young families. We have been to Santa Teresa previously (before children), so we knew this was a central location close to shops (short walk to groceries and restaurants) and surf. But the house and property were even better than expected! There was plenty of room for our four young children to play and explore (the compost pile filled with hermit crabs was very entertaining). We enjoyed lounging on the sofas or hammocks outside in the shade midday to take a break from the sun. And the kids would explore in the shaded yard looking for creatures and shells. Morning and evening surf was just a short walk down the beach. And the tide pools kept the kids entertained for hours, not to mention the boogie boarding with boards complements of Casa Amore! We mostly made dinner each evening (rather than eating out) after watching the beautiful sunset and ate at the large outdoor dining table. The house felt clean and spacious with comfortable beds, powerful AC, and a very well-stocked kitchen. We really appreciated the over-night security guard and cleaning crew. Dustin, the property manager, was awesome. He was attentive, helpful, and quick to respond if we had any questions. The Wi-Fi worked well. There was an excellent media room as well (but we never really used it as there was just so much outdoor adventures to be had)! My only complaint is that vacations always have an end. But at least we now know we have “our place” to go back to whenever we return to ST. Thanks for making our Costa Rican getaway even better than expected Casa Amore!

Media room is a hit for the teens. A/C is fantastic. House is a bit dark and could use some more light and some painting/upgrades, but overall a great find.

Amazing Stay!!

Perfect house for a beach vacation
We had an incredible time at Casa Amore. The location is perfect -- between Playa Carmen and Playa Santa Teresa, with a swimming cove out front and surf breaks to the left and right. Waking up and seeing the ocean every morning never got old. The bedrooms were gigantic, the kitchen had everything we needed to cook family dinners. Dustin (the property's caretaker) was attentive, and responded quickly if we had any issues. We also really appreciated having Alejandro (the house's security guard) on duty at night; he was friendly and it was nice to know the house was safe when we were away. We'd love to stay at Casa Amore again sometime.

The beds are really comfy, great pillows (always a big bonus) and the kitchen was enormous and really well equipped. The TV room is great although I barely used it. All in all it was everything we were hoping for and I would glady stay there again. Thanks again Dustin.

Peaceful and relaxing

Very nice location and management.
The house is well equipped and the manager is a very nice guy. Despite of being an old house everything works fine with the exception of the showers that is awful since you can’t temper the water. There are rusty iron bars in all windows and doors which is unpleasant, but probably needed.

This is a spacious, clean and comfortable home in a great location in Santa Teresa. It's centrally located on a beautiful beach with great surfing and swimming nearby. We enjoyed hanging out on the spacious and comfortable deck every day. We also explored the beach in both directions, enjoying the warm water and wonderful views. Worthwhile Effort To Visit
Home is well positioned within the Santa Teresa commercial area while right on the beach. Walkable to numerous restaurants, grocery and some stores. You will appreciate that when you see the chaos that can be the road in front on Casa Amore. Yet with all the quads, motorcycles, bicycles, SUVs and delivery trucks, the property remains a quiet oasis. A security guard makes sure in the evening nothing invades your privacy. Tidal pools are just outside our private gate with an isolated feel to the beach in early December. The caretakers live on the property and welcome you. We were there to just relax for three days, and they respected that. We sat in the rockers, walked the beach and walked to the nearby restaurants. But there are opportunities to surf, do yoga and take tours which the caretakers can help with.
Please note, Santa Teresa is a surfer town and most everyone seems to be in their 20-30s. We are not in that age range, but that did not interfere with our enjoying our stay. With the planned development in the works, it will be interesting if it maintains the young hip feel. We hope to get back one day to see if it maintains its current feel of remoteness and youthful personality.

Location, location location. Right smack in the middle of Santa Teresa on the sand. Fun surf out front. Great old skool pad. Each bedroom is the size of a master. My 2 buddies and I had a great trip and look forward to coming back to this awesome place. Thanks for the good times!

The house is exactly as described. Right on the gorgeous beach. You will not be disappointed. Amazing home with beautiful ceilings and nice updated kitchen an bathrooms. Beds were so comfortable! Monkeys howled and we could hear the waves as we slept! We had a family of monkeys right outside the house on two occasions including babies! There is an amazing separate media room and library full of books. I cannot say enough good about this home and the hosts and staff. Do not miss out!!! Close to everything in town. Three bikes helped us get wherever we wanted to go, but laying in the hammock or relaxing on the beach just a few steps away were the most wonderful parts of our trip.

Great Family Gathering!
We were three adult couples staying on the property for two weeks. The location is great, right in the center of Santa Teresa with great beaches to the right and left. Good restaurants are within walking distance. On-property caretakers and housekeeper were amazingly helpful and responsive. Would highly recommend this property due to its amenities (well stocked kitchen and great wifi), location, layout and beach access.

Pics and description don’t do it justice...
...and they were so good I was skeptical, but the reality is that the place was better than advertised. Seriously, this was one of the best rentals we’ve ever had. Service was top notch in every capacity starting with eggs, toast, fruit and beers in fridge at arrival so we didn’t have to rush out right when we got there. Honestly I could go on and on, but just read the description and know that the pics, location and service are 10x in person. Cannot recommend higher.

On the beach
Casa Amore was perfect for the 6 of us. Centrally located in Santa Teresa so it was an easy bike ride to bars and restaurants. Beach right out the back door with swimming to the left. Dustin and Chelsea helped with arrangements for various excursions which was wonderful. The house had all we needed for dining in. Sun, surf, wildlife, and great people made this trip wonderful

Beautiful house in a fantastic location
I booked this house because i wanted a place directly on the beach. Casa Amore was exactly what we wanted. It is hidden back from both the main road and the beach, but it is literally only steps to either place. The beach was beautiful. Directly in front of the house we’re some rocky tide pools which were fun to play in at low tide. We would sit in a pool and the waves would make a private spa. 100 steps to the left was a protected cove which made a nice swimming beach. A bit further to the right was a long stretch of surfing beach.
A short walk on the main road led to several restaurants and grocery stores.
We were there in the dry season so the main road was rough and dusty. Santa Teresa is a bit off the grid so be prepared for rough dirt roads in the area. If you rent a car opt for a SUV or something with all wheel drive and high clearance. Nevertheless we had a wonderful time. The house easily served the 5 of us adults and could have accommodated even more. It would also be a great place for an extended family.

Beauty and Solitude in busy holiday town
I’ve always wanted to visit Santa Teresa and this house was perfect for our holiday getaway. It was everything and more than the photos show. Fabulous beach location, great casual dining within walking distance or taking the bikes to town. Perfect for hanging out in the hammocks or rocking in the rocking chairs on the porch and meeting for sunsets every evening on the beach is the perfect end to any day. The caretakers are there and ready to assist you with anything you need.

Cant for wrong with Casa Amore
We had our wedding at Casa Amore and we couldn't have been happier with our stay....the pictures on VRBO don't really do the place justice. It's located right in the middle of everything in Santa Theresa, which is very convenient. Restaurants, rentals, super market, it is all within walking distance. Dustin and Chelsea and are attentive and amazing hosts. It is obvious they have a real passion for the Pura Vida in Santa Theresa. What else can I say, Casa Amore, Dustin and Chelsea, and Santa Theresa are the best!
