About this house rental
Nestled in Destin, this charming house for $500 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. Sunset Grace' was completed at the end of 2014 and sits just a tad over a block from the beach. It has a large, private, heated salt-water pool in the backyard. The house has 7 bedrooms, 6 full baths, and two living rooms (one upstairs + one downstairs). We hope that you'll find it to be comfy & beautiful. The Space You’ll enjoy its perfect layout featuring the kitchen, the dining room, and a large living room area downstairs plus 2 first floor bedrooms each with their own full first floor bathroom. Upstairs you’ll enjoy another 5 bedrooms, four more full bathrooms, and a second living room area containing a pull-out queen sleeper sofa. This second upstairs living room will provide a perfect place to relax or play for the toddlers, teens, or afternoon snoozers of your group at times when the downstairs living room is occupied. Two upstairs porches will provide the perfect place for your morning cup of coffee if you’re not yet ready to sit by the private pool in the backyard. There is ample parking for 6 vehicles. Great grandparents, grandparents, parents and kids stayed in this wonderful abode. We discovered more togetherness. The house was perfect for all ages. Even though the weather didn’t totally cooperate, we had a great time, playing games and going to the beach.

My family and I had a wonderful stay this July. There were 15 of us ranging in ages from 12-79 years old. We appreciated all the rooms so we each had our own space. The kitchen and dining area were large enough to accommodate us all. The pool was wonderful to have especially for the late night swims. The beach access was a quick walk down the street in a quiet neighborhood. The balconies also came in handy to hang towels to dry and a quiet place for several avid readers in the family to escape. The only negatives were the need for more pots, pans, and sheets for a family our size. We cooked almost every meal during our stay and were limited due to the amount of food we had to prepare. Also, due to the weather (not the owners fault, obviously) we spent a great deal indoors and wished there was more seating (couches) in the living room. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would stay there again.

We had our annual family vacation at Sunset Grace and enjoyed it! Our ages ranged from 15-87 and everyone was comfortable. We rented a golf cart as the walk to the beach was too much for the older folks and we found most houses on our street also had them so that was fun. The pool are was a huge hit and the kitchen had everything we needed! My only suggestion would be to add some more or new bath towels. Not all rooms had them and those that were there were pretty old. Other than that we loved it!

Overall the house is in bad condition. Found roach in shower stall, have pictures . Had to buy tank of gas for grill, pool was not taken care of filthy skimmer basket. Terrible furniture needs replaced, trash on side of house, no bath mats in most of bathrooms. This doesn’t cover all the problems, I have pictures I would be happy to send you that will really tell the condition of this property. We would not recommend it to anyone.

Good location in Destin with a friendly and attentive owner. House was cleaned and as advertised. If you are considering renting, I would recommend bringing or renting a golf cart for easy access down the road to the beach.

Perfect Vacation
The house was in a great location, short walk to the beach and convenient to everything. Plenty of room for the whole family. We loved the backyard with the pool and had plenty of room to even play cornhole. Would rent this house again

It's hard to book unless you are very familiar with the location but we got lucky.
The property had a little smaller pool than the pictures lead us to believe. A couple of the mattresses could be replaced and the refrigerator definitely needs to be replaced. But I know the owner is on top of this as a new microwave was installed while we were there. You can't go wrong booking Sunset Grace

Cozy and short walk to the beach
Everything was just as listed,clean beds were comfy and the pool was amazing to have! Only thing i would recommend is a better television in the living room and some new pillows in the bedrooms. Was a little warmer in the downstairs rooms then the upstairs rooms which we put a box fan down in the lower rooms to help. Nothing to complain about really just a few rcommendations :) We enjoyed our week at your home! Thanks for having us!

Checkin is Saturday at 5pm which means you wait with your bags somewhere waiting to get into your rental after cleaning. The cleaning team was blind as huge hair balls, scum, mold, and dirt was all over the home. This home was appointed with builder grade sub par cabinets, flooring and appliances. The refrigerator struggled to keep items frozen. The vacuum did not work well at all. The beds had plastic liners which made sleep difficult due to the noise; bathroom lighting was dim and the showers were lacking. Those that left 5 star reviews must be family and friends. I sent pictures of the dirt and they must have come by when no one was there so we cleaned it up ourselves.

Overall nice house great pool and good location. Pictures of course always much better than reality. Mattresses need replaced sleeping experience not good. Owner was very easy to work with and concerned about our experience. I would anticipate changes in the future as we conveyed then to him.

Wonderful vacation
Great location and spacious. Kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. There was plenty of pools toys, chairs for the beach, floaties. AJ was very responsive to any question we had. We truly enjoyed our vacation. Fascinated with Destin and dont miss Crab island adventure.

A great place to stay!
We had a family vacation at this location with 17 people. There was plenty of room with great amenities like high chairs, pool toys, chairs for the beach, hammocks in the backyard, a nice grill, etc. it was a short walk to the beach. Would definitely recommend this property to others.

Wonderful Vacation
Great space and great location. The weather was great even though some concerns with the tropical storm coming. We enjoyed the pool, house and patio. The owner was very accommodating and worked with any changes we made.

This house was great for our four families! We really liked the location and the short walk to the beach. The house had plenty of space and everything we really needed. The cleanliness of the house upon arrival was our only disappointment.
