About this house rental
Located in Pacific Beach, this charming house for $853 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. Enjoy private resort living complete with a heated saltwater pool, waterslides, a Jacuzzi, an outdoor kitchen, views of the ocean, and SeaWorld fireworks. This home has all the fine details to make your stay in San Diego unforgettable including a fully stocked kitchen and both indoor and outdoor games. It is located overlooking the ocean and bays in a beautiful upscale neighborhood, yet close enough to enjoy all of the San Diego attractions in a 5–30-minute drive. The main house has four bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths with a beautiful master on the second floor. The pool house has a loft bed, a queen sofa, a sleeper, a kitchenette, and full bath, and a shower. Please inquire with the host if you would like to add the pool house. Our home is pet friendly but please inquire with the hosts as some are not allowed by the home insurance. You will love our quiet, beautiful upscale neighborhood where there is plenty of parking. You can see the ocean from our home, but it is high above it to avoid having to deal with crowds. You can access the property by an individually provided key code. The main house consists of a master bedroom upstairs with full bathroom and king size bed and beautiful views. Downstairs has two bedrooms with queen beds and views of the side yard garden. A fourth bedroom with two twin and a pull-out ottoman bed with views of the pool. We can also provide pack n plays, umbrella strollers and highchairs so please let the owners know if you need these complementary items. There is a large living room with a 50-inch flat screen TV and enough seating for 16 people and a fully stocked kitchen with a large family style table. There are two spaces in our driveway and three spaces in front of the house for a total of 5 spaces for your personal use. San Diego does have a good trolley, but for our area we recommend renting a car or taking an Uber/Lift. We can provide information on a car service if needed. Our neighborhood provides some beautiful walks with views.

Obviously the backyard is impressive, but the owners don't rest on their laurels. April checks in to make sure the stay is going well, gets out in front of issues, and is always prompts with replies.
The square footage in the house provides ample space to spread out guests. The backyard truly is an oasis, and there are plenty of towels, bedding, glasses, plates, etc...to accommodate your time.
The only criticism was perhaps some dog hair found on the pull out in the pool house. Not a deal breaker. Our group needed the space, and the criticism is only mentioned to provide the owners and potential renters a fair review.
Would I book the group again for this house? Yes. The entire process was so easy. While the trip was for leisure, stress invaded multiple layers when traveling. Booking, utilizing, and checking out of this Vrbo option, though, was not a part of any of that. All aspects made for a great experience.

Great rental for our family. Large living area with multiple sofas and large dining room table so everyone could hang out together. Pool was a hit with the kids. Slide not for small children. Good location easy to get to attractions. Great communication with owner.

We ended up canceling other activities we had planned to do and spending more time in the pool because the kids just wanted to play there all day! The slides are really fast and so much fun. There were lots of water toys and inflatables, plus boogie boards that you can borrow for the beach. The owner was very responsive to any questions we had. We hope to come back some day!

What an amazing place for a great family get-away for 5 adults and 5 kids. Everyone loved the backyard and spent countless hours in the pool and on the slides. We even skipped a day out in order to stay and enjoy the backyard.

Family and friends gathered in San Diego for our Grandaughter’s wedding.
We looked at many properties, but Casa De Solis pictures of the backyard sealed the deal! It’s a resort!! Feels so relaxing yet exhilarating!! Slides, waterfalls, waterfalls and sparkling pool!
It gets better, this beautifully decorated, spacious home is huge. Well stocked, organized kitchen, has everything for entertaining. Outside too!
We all loved every minute we were in this beautiful home!
The hosts were amazing answering all my silly questions, I wanted everything perfect before the wedding, it was so easy to communicate, and they were so gracious.
Our trip will be a very special memory of a dream come true.

The weather was cool–highs reaching only the upper 60s–,so we requested that the pool temperature be raised and it made all the difference for the little ones in our group. We had a wonderful time. Close proximity to all of San Diego’s offerings. Don’t hesitate to rent this property!

Getting everyone to agree on a house was probably the hardest task.I kept pushing for this house solely because of the pool and boy was this Gramma right!. Hard to get them out!. The location of the home is perfect. Love the fireworks every night. We've rented a lot of homes and this one was the best stocked in every way. The pool house could use a little more ventilation in the sleeping area and some areas of the house could just use a good deep cleaning, but it was nothing that turned us away. I would just lean on the cleaning lady a bit! I would rent this home again. April is a great communicator and came to our aid when a car top carrier needed some duck tape...she was there in a flash to help out. Loved how the lights were on timers outside. We all felt like we were at a resort! Being from Colorado we were amazed by all the different plants in the courtyard. Everything outside is so well cared for. Thanks April

Very nice and huge pool, slides,waterfalls, hot tub and all heated. Lots of room to stretch out and enjoy inside or outside. Outdoor bar and grill area. We also had extra space with pool living quarters. Excellent hosts!

We loved San Diego, and this house was so cool. Had everything we needed. Pool and outdoor area amazing, comfortable beds. The host was amazing too and made it really special for us!

The house was located in a great neighborhood. The salt water heated pool with slides and hot tub WERE AMAZING! House could use some updating with lighting in the kitchen & the bathrooms. Quite a few light bulbs were burned out & mismatched which was hard at night. Only other complaint was the cleanliness of all the toilets.
Would stay here again only for pool.

We had 5 adults and one kiddo and we had a great time! The pool alone was amazing. Great view. All amenities were there, lots of towels, pool toys, kitchen gadgets, and more. The owner was helpful with good communication.

Ages in our group of 8 people ranged from 4 to 72 years old, and we all had a wonderful time! April and Michael wanted to make sure that we enjoyed our stay and were very responsive to a few questions/requests that came up while we were there.
The pool was an obvious highlight (it was even more impressive in person than in the pictures!), but it is worth noting a few things:
(1) The water slides are not for the faint of heart. They were fast!
(2) The pool is kept at 80 F, which did not feel warm enough to the adults in our party given the unseasonably cool weather we had while in town (the kids didn't seem to mind). A quick request was all it took to have it heated to 85 F, which made a huge difference. The owners were upfront about the additional cost ($50/day) given the high cost of energy in San Diego.
The house was centrally located for multiple attractions (15 min to the zoo, 35 min to safari park, 35 min to Legoland, 10 min to La Jolla), which made it a perfect home base for exploring when we could convince the kids to leave the pool.
Overall, we were very happy with our stay!

We had a wonderful time at this property. It was 7 adults and 5 children and we spent 5 days with rental of the pool house there was enough space for everyone. April was super responsive and accommodating, could not have asked for a better host. It’s a great location to get to any place in San Diego quickly and she gave good advice for places to go.
The beds are cozy. The house is clean my daughters would have lived in the pool if I let them.

This property was beautiful and was like our own private waterpark. The family thoroughly enjoyed the pool, waterslides, hot tubs, backyard and views. The owner was very responsive, and the binder which provided instructions and recommendations was super helpful. The location was in a quite and nice neighborhood, near several great family activities that we enjoyed; pacific beach, the zoo, USS Midway, and sea world are all not far away. We had a great view of San Diego/Pacific Beach and even saw fireworks on the first night. The bedding and towels were fully stocked, and it was quite comfortable. There were just a few minor things that could be improved. The coffee pot and coffee maker didn't match and therefore, we had to cram something in to make it drip. The dishwasher pods were limited to only a few, and we did run out of toilet paper on our last day. I understand wanting to conserve resources and I am fully for this; however, we paid a lot of money for this property, and we expected a fully stocked house for the price. I have never stayed at a VRBO where we would be expected to buy our own toilet paper or dishwasher pods. I would also request that the owner's make it more clear in the description that the pool house is not included in the price. While I understand we only had seven people and enough sleeping spaces in the house, it was not until I arrived and spoke to the owner that I realized that it was only available for an added rate. I did go back to the listing, and I can see that they do state this at the bottom of the description. However, the Rooms & Beds do in fact show Bedroom number 5 and Bathroom number 4, which is the pool house and not included in the main listing price. In my opinion, if that is not accessible it should not be listed on the listing or it should be crystal clear that it is an extra cost. Overall, though, we had an amazing time, and the family got some great quality time and fun together. I would recommend this property to others.

We stayed at this house for our sons graduation from Marine bootcamp! It was hands down the best VRBO house we have been too. The house is perfect, the location is beautiful, and the backyard is paradise! Swimming in that pool with the water slides was a favorite of everyone. The hot tub was perfection and the views were breathtaking.
The response from the owners was awesome. We had a problem with some lights and they were at the house with in 15 or so minutes and fixed them. Super nice and very responsive:)
The location is great because it’s just far enough away from the city but close enough that you are there in no time. It’s about 15 minutes from MCRD and 20 from downtown.
If we find ourselves back in San Diego we won’t hesitate on staying here again!!

We spent a week with our kids and grandkids in this marvelous home. The location was excellent - close to all major attractions and the airport as well as many terrific restaurants. Our grandkids were insane about the pool, waterslides and hot tub.

Great communication, property is even more beautiful in person. House was provided with all of the extras. Owners were very responsive. Backyard was an amazing oasis. Only wish we wouldn't have made plans because the whole group wanted to stay in the backyard!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was perfect for us to stay in and relax comfortably. Everything we wanted to get to was no more than 20-25 minutes away. The host was great and very communicative. Would definitely recommend!

Great house layout, location and household amenities. The backyard was really stand out. Easy checkin and checkout.
The only criticism and it is minor is that there have clearly been pets in the house as the tile floor had animal hair that was hard to sweep up.

We were 5 adults and 5 teenagers from the U.K. We absolutely loved this house! It is so homely and the owners have thought of everything you may need, ranging from kitchen gadgets to kit to take to the beach. The main attraction was the pool, water slides and hot tub. I thought from the pictures that our teenagers would find the slides a bit tame, but not in reality! We had so much fun and our only regret is that we hadn’t booked for longer.

My family, all went for a vacation in San Diego .All of my grandchildren had a wonderful stay. The location is perfect, central to all our activities, ranging from visits to the zoo, La Jolla beaches, bike trips and kayaking,. The backyard of the home was great. The pool , outside kitchen , and the 2 slides made it hard for us yo leave it. We spent so much time outside and grilled dinner each night. April and Michael weres super.
