This home suited us perfectly We love to self cater and put in a full day on the mountain and these wishes we met.
Best of all- blue skies and dry pow.

House was better than pictures showed. The Master bath was a soakers dream. We spent every evening on the porch where we observed moose, deer, fox, squirrels and even a black bear !! In the hot tub at night we could even hear the elk bugle. Excellent communication with Outpost staff. Will definitely be back !!

Granite Ridge House
Overall the property is awesome. Proximity to the slopes and village amenities are excellent. The size and layout of the house is great for large groups(we had 11). The house is starting to show a little west and tear and for the price I would hope to see some updating happen over the next year. This is the second time we have rented this home and look forward to renting again.

I manager vacation rentals as well as commercial properties, so maybe I have higher expectations than other guests. First the good, the house was very clean and the location was great, just a short walk to the tow rope which pulls you to the ski run. The layout of the house was also fantastic for a large group, especially the huge bunk room. The house was built well and stayed warm even though the temperatures outside were frigid. The management company was very responsive; unfortunately I know how responsive they were because they had to be called out to the house three times during our 6 day visit. No matter how good a management company is, they can’t change what an owner will not pay to update. At this rental price point, the property is in need of all new kitchen appliances both large and small, new glassware, refreshed kitchenware, new bedding and new pillows. The built-in microwave is broken so there is one sitting on the counter. The refrigerator has a water leak, the dishwasher broke while we were there and could not be repaired, and the range is sub-par, though to its credit at least working. Excess kitchen items, like 4 veggie peelers, dozens of steak knives, too many useless pots and pans, coupled with a lack of useful items like adequate thoughtful glassware and dishware convey either the owner’s disregard for the guest vacation experience or just plain laziness. Same can be said for the bed pillows, all of which left a lot to be desired. Hotel triple sheeting is used to make up all the beds, which in my opinion only works in hotels with daily maid service. It really doesn’t work when the sheets are too small and a regular comforter is used as the middle layer. A proper duvet cover with an actually duvet insert would be much cleaner and neater, especially with COVID concerns. Hotel triple sheeting on bunk beds absolutely does not work. Back to the management company, they brought us a brand new high quality pan, pot holders, and toaster when we requested, and even compensated us for the issues we experienced. However, I wish I hadn’t needed to find out how wonderful the management team was in the first place. That said, I would definitely hire them to manage my properties if they were in my town.

Great location and easy to get to. Perfect size for our family of 9. Fully stocked kitchen which was great for Thanksgiving celebration and meal. Highly recommend!!!
Note, only oversight was not ordering wood prior to arrival. Would suggest to make that arrangement prior.

Annual guys' ski trip.
The house is great; spacious, well equipped and nicely laid out. The guest relations crew at the Outpost are very friendly and responsive. Our group of 6, aged 58 - 62 has been skiing together for 20 years. The ski-in, ski-out description is a bit overstated compared with other experiences in the past. There is a short 5 minute walk through the neighborhood on quiet streets from where the trail ends to the house. When headed to the slopes there's a T-handle cable tow that pulls you over the last 200 yards of level ground to the actual slope - a nice touch, but it doesn't open until 9:00AM, which doesn't make sense. It is handy after lunch, however but closes at 2:00PM. It must be said that there is little or no true ski-in, ski-out at JHMR. We were blessed with 6" of snow during our stay and the snow removal in the neighborhood and for our driveway was excellent. The only caveat is that the driveway slopes downhill to the garage in back of the home and there was no getting out for the entire stay because we had a front-wheel drive-only van. We asked the Outpost to have some sand or cinders tossed on the driveway, which would have solved the problem. Unfortunately, they have little control over the homeowners' association which decided to use salt and only made the driveway more slippery when wet and when it re-froze. The Outpost responded quickly by offering to cover any Uber or cab fares. We eventually drove out easily after spreading a bag of kitty litter found in the garage. Lastly, the heated garage was great for parking a car and storing our skis. We would rent this home again.

Great location!
If you are looking for a location within walking distance to the ski hill, this is a great option. It's not RIGHT on the slopes, but it's about 1/4 mile walk to the lift and you're there!
The GOOD:
- Spa was super clean!
- Layout as described and plenty of space to host large groups
- Fireplace is super cozy and the house was very warm despite the very cold temperatures outside!
- Great neighborhood and super quiet
The BAD:
- Overall maintenance: Several things were broken or not working (like a dishwasher over a Thanksgiving holiday! ughhhh). Disposal wasn't working, microwave didn't work (so they provided a second one that did), we had trouble closing the garage on a couple occasions. While they were proactive in communicating and responding to our needs to fix, most things could not be fixed during our stay. Maintenance was definitely an issue, however the property management company did a great job of handling and communicating and took steps to make better what they could.
- Cleanliness was just OK. For as costly of a cleaning fee paid, it seems like the place should be functional and spotless. It just wasn't and we gave this feedback to the management company (they also responded with proper action so no complaints there).
- Kitchen was stocked with some things but for a large group, would have been nice to have more glassware (coffee cups, wine glasses, large drinking glasses), but there were plenty of plates and silverware and pots/pans/bowls, etc.
We are Superhosts for AirBnb so appreciate attention to detail and prompt responses. We thought giving this feedback to the management company and future guests will be helpful!
Overall still recommend this house to other guests, it's really great staying in Teton Village!

Excellent and relaxing escape
We loved staying at Granite Ridge. The home and surroundings were beautiful. Such a needed relaxing and enjoyable vacation for our large family. The home had everything with beds and chairs to spare. The hot tub was a joy. Kitchen was fully stocked. Only suggestion was perhaps a little more detail to cleaning and some maintenance of things like grout in bathrooms, etc. However, a wonderful rental property and we would come back again!

Perfect family vacation spot
My family visited Jackson Hole in early June 2019 and the Granite Ridge property was the perfect location! During the booking process and prior to our stay, the property managers were very helpful and accommodating. When we arrived we found the place to be clean and welcoming, and there were no surprises about what we found (versus the pictures). The bunkhouse was a great place for the kids to escape to while the adults were upstairs and on the deck. Kitchen was really nice - would have been even better with a few extra baking sheets, dish towels, better knives and a few more coffee cups. But it was a great kitchen to cook in and perfect for serving a crowd.
Location was amazing too... easily walkable to the shops and restaurants in Teton Village yet private and quiet. Saw a fox and coyote wandering through the backyard too!
Overall I'd highly recommend the Granite Ridge property and hope to return in the future.

Great spot in Teton Village
My family and I stayed at Granite Ridge for 5 nights during the offseason and had a great time. The house is large and updated and only a short drive from the town of Jackson. If you're skiing, it's super close to the slopes and also a relatively short drive up to Grand Teton National Park if the roads are open. We were very comfortable and hope to be back soon!

Fabulous Home Within Walking Distance to the Slopes!
I am very particular where I lay my head, and usually go through a painstaking process to make sure the hotels, apartments and other rental properties I stay in are 5-star! My friends and I loved the house. It was spacious, clean, and definitely gave us that mountain feel. All of the bedrooms were spacious, and each had their own bathrooms with double sinks! The kitchen was great! They even had a spice cabinet! Lol...I usually bring my own. The pictures accurately depict the house. We did have a few issues, but The Outpost Crew was quick to remedy them. Which I appreciated. While not technically ski in/ski out, there is a tow rope within about a 3-4 minute walk at the top of the street across the street. It takes you right down to the gondola, the Teewinot chairlift, Handlebar Restaurant, and is within another short walk to the Tram. Very convenient.
Since I’m an Ikon pass holder I’ll probably come back at least once more during the season! This is an annual stop for me and my group of friends.

Excellent experience
We have frequented this area for the last 20 years. We are return visitors to the Granite Ridge Lodge's. It is one of our favorite places to stay. It is a beautiful setting at the base of the Tetons with great access to Jackson, Wilson, Victor and the National Parks. The homes offer everything you are looking for in a vacation rental with a staff that is ready to assist. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay and visit Jackson/Teton/Yellowstone.

Clean, well-run, nicely situated home
We had a great stay - the house was clean, in a great location (walkable to the Four Seasons and Teton Village), 20 mins from Jackson Hole and roomy enough for 3 families. The Outpost staff were excellent - they helped make all our activities reservations and helped with restaurant ideas. Highly recommend.

Very nice
It’s a great place ina great location. I had 11 family members there and lots of space for everything. Close to stores and restaurants. Just great. Could use a new grill and be careful of the steps inside. Very slippery. Had two family members slip on them and fall. Bruised but not broken but very well could have had broken bones.

Really nice ski pad
Hard to imagine a nicer ski place. Not slopeside but short walk (and rope tow) to the hill. The place was clean and well equipped. Great TVs and hot tub. Staff was responsive to all questions. Only complaints: ran out of propane in the middle of BBQ (be nice to have a back up tank). And they refilled the hot tub late afternoon on our last night and it never came back to temp. Would definitely stay there again though.

Perfect house for a large group.
Very comfortable home with everything you need. Great layout, lots of room, kids loved hanging out in the downstairs bunk room..Very clean when we arrived. I found trying to work the television a bit confusing, but my husband figured it out for me. Thanks.
