Nestled in Steamboat Springs, this attractive condo for $159 per night is a great option for your next vacation. Your Amazing Mountain Paradise Awaits in the beautiful Yampa valley! Nestled in the shadow of the legendary Steamboat Ski Resort is the desirable Rockies community. Our cozy well-appointed 1 BR garden level condo is a short 10 minute walk or free bus ride to the gondola at Steamboat Resort. Enjoy being close enough to walk to the lifts and a variety of restaurants without paying the premium price for ski in/ ski out. The entire condo has recently been remodeled, with a tiled bathroom, hardwood floors, a comfy king sized bed, plush pull-out sofa, and reclaimed beetle kill wood furniture. Enjoy the well stocked kitchen with everything you need to cook up gourmet meals, including chef quality cookware, crock pot, and a full sized range and oven. We are happy to provide kitchen staples like oil, basic spices, foil, and your first morning’s coffee to make you feel right at home. There's also a small fold up desk in the closet for anyone needing a working space. After a long day of skiing Steamboats world famous Champagne Powder®, stash your ski gear in the private ski locker right outside the front door. Then, kickback and relax in front of the fire in our cozy living room. Watch the game or your favorite movie on the 55” smart TV that’s above the warm gas fireplace. You can even Chromecast your favorite shows from your phone, tablet, or laptop onto the big screen. Catch up on your favorite Netflix or Amazon Prime shows on the 34" SMART TV in the bedroom. If you’re not up for watching TV, then head outside to enjoy a swim or soak in the Rockies heated pool & hot tubs. The Rockies Clubhouse area also has a ping pong table, a treadmill & elliptical, fireplace, grills and coin operated laundry facilities available for you to use. Our condo is also conveniently located a short half mile,10 minute walk to the Wild Horse Marketplace where you will find multiple bars, restaurants, sandwich shops, and even a movie theater. Want to explore more shopping and restaurant options, or take a dip in the Old Town Hot springs? - historic downtown Steamboat Springs’ charming main street is just two miles away. For car-free transportation options during the winter, the Rockies provides an on-call shuttle service after 6pm to take you wherever you want to go in town. The Steamboat Springs Transit Bus also provides free bus service every 20 minutes, served from a stop on the Purple Line just steps from the condo. We had a family getaway for Christmas week. The property was very conveniently located. It was quiet and cozy. The hosts had many personal touches and were very helpful with local recommendations. Would highly recommend.

Great spot to home base while doing all kinds of area activities! Clean and nicely decorated and very comfortable. Perfect for skiers as is very close to ski mountain. Nikki was great to deal with.

The condo was nice but smaller than expected. The outside view is of a parking lot. Remodeling construction was going on all day in the condo next door. The worst drawback was the bed ... way too firm. Would choose a different property next time..

This host was super responsive and helpful. The condo was nice, though the cleaning crew could have been a bit better (found random candy just under the bed skirt, dusty/hairs around bathroom). The bed was nice, and my daughter even liked the pullout couch. I wish I had read more closely there was no AC. (We were here in July.). The windows got full sun & it got hot. It was a ground level condo, facing the parking lot, so I didn’t feel comfortable leaving doors/windows open at night. But overall it was good, would be better in colder months when heat isn’t an issue. It was a convenient location for the soccer tournament we were there for. Thanks!

The condo was as listed. It was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Because it is close to the parking lot, if you stay in the summer and open the windows it can be very noisy at night. All in all it was fine.

Great location, very clean and cozy condo. Just the right size for the 2 of us. The kitchen was very well stocked, including coffee and teas to get your day going. Nikki responded very quickly to our questions on the first day. We would definitely stay here again.

This was a fabulous location and the vrbo owners really stocked the place well with practical items. They even had a sound machine in the master bedroom which was perfect to drown out the ski boot stomping early in the am.

Perfect location that is quiet! Modern furniture, everything you need to be cozy. Had to reach out to the owner for some assistance and they were most helpful and quick to respond. That speaks volumes, customer service is key! Will stay here again.

Nicely done and clean. A little too much furniture, making it seem smaller. It would have been nice to have a grill for the patio since the kitchen is small to cook in and the common grills are too far away. The patio area is very small & your view is of a half wall & the parking lot.

I have stayed at this property in the past and have always enjoyed my stay. We were in town for winter wondergrass music festival and the property is perfectly located. Just a short walk to the venue or a handy bus stop close by. I will try and stay here again next year

The condo was just perfect for the two of us. Not huge, but exactly as described, really nicely appointed aesthetically and with everything you’d need. You can tell Steve and Nikki take pride in this as second home - not just as a vacation/investment rental. Comfortable furniture for when you decide to stay in and we enjoyed the gas fireplace every day (we were there six nights). Super clean, too. Comfortable king bed.
An ideal ground floor corner location with only one shared wall… so nice & quiet! Also, the unit is DIRECTLY adjacent (steps away) to the Steamboat shuttle that runs you to the base and elsewhere several times an hour, which is so great when you’re tromping around in boots with skis, etc. You could walk, but in boots the bus is really convenient. There’s also the condo’s private shuttle which we used extensively as we elected not to rent a car. It does require a little advance planning but if you let them know earlier in the day (or the day before) your required pick up and drop off times (if you have restaurant reservations or just want to get out for the evening) they make it work and the drivers are prompt and courteous - we even asked them to stop along the way a couple times so we could pick up a couple grocery items - if they can, they will!
Also, I had a couple random questions for the owners (like where could I buy a replacement charger cord for my laptop?!) and they were always responsive and helpful - Nikki led me to someone who sent to the right place and I had a new charger the very next morning! Thank you!
Last, I didn’t use the hot tub & pool but my husband did every day and thoroughly enjoyed it! Thanks again! Steamboat v is a great place and we look forward to returning.

Snowy week in Steamboat
We loved our stay here! We did not have a car and it was really easy to get around using the free city bus. We spent most of our time on the mountain and the condo was close enough to come home for lunch each day.
The condo was a little tight for the four of us, but we really only slept and made meals there. As others said you could hear the people upstairs walking around, but after a day of skiing we were so tired it didn't bother us.
The kitchen was well stocked with spices, pots/pans, and a crockpot.

Our only major complaint was that there is ZERO insulation or sound barrier between this unit and the one above it. IDK if the person upstairs lives there or if it's a short term rental but they were LOUD! They woke up early every morning (before 7am) and at one point it sounded like they dropped a bowling ball which totally jarred us awake. If they were weekend renters hopefully you won't have the same problem we did but if they live there and you like to sleep in unfortunately it's not going to be an option 😕
