Nestled in West Beach, this attractive house for $953 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. Dancing Dolphin 2193 West Beach Blvd DANCING DOLPHIN: GORGEOUS. RELAXING. POOL. BEACH. UPDATE 2023-06-02: Yay! New pics from the big reno. Had to wait for a little break in the bookings! UPDATE: 2022-11. Big renovation complete. All new floors, decks, countertops, living room furnishings, and so much more. Brand new virtual tour! The Dancing Dolphin is a gorgeous home that is located directly on the Gulf! It has 10 foot ceilings with crown molding, is professionally decorated, and has wonderful gulf views from most rooms, including 4 out of 5 bedrooms! Added a propane gas pool heater, so YES the pool is heatable to a maximum of 82' (the high side of recommended rec pool temps) to take the chill off! This service is by request in advance with a nightly surcharge (varies by season and with gas market price, has been $60-85 per night, just inquire, and must be for length of stay (this is based on market pricing for propane gas, and can change at any time, both up and down, until added to a reservation). Fee subject to change due to incredibly high gas rates right now. Simply request the pool be heated any time after making the reservation and at least a week before check in so we can get it on before you arrive. Comfortably sleeping 21 with four of the five bedrooms located on the gulf side so you can wake up to the water out your window. The Dancing Dolphin in Gulf Shores also has a large open living/dining/kitchen area, and includes TWO Gulf Front Master Bedrooms, each with its own tub and separate shower. Main Floor Bedroom: King 3rd Floor NW Bedroom: King 3rd Floor Middle Bedroom: Twin Bunk + Twin over Full Bunk 3rd Floor SE Bedroom: King + Bunk 3rd Floor SW Bedroom: 2 Queens + QSS Main Floor Living Room: Queen Sleeper Sofa Other amenities at the Dancing Dolphin in Gulf Shores include a POOL, televisions, cable, internet, central air, ceiling fans throughout, TWO refrigerators with ice makers, washer & dryer, 2 dishwashers, outside showers and a picnic table. BONUS FRIDGE AND DISHWASHER Yep. TWO refrigerators and two dishwashers... You won't want to ever have just one again! PARKING There is available onsite parking for at least 8 cars. In fact, you could park more cars than you should be driving for a 21 person home! Inquire if you have special vehicle needs. WIFI/INTERNET YES! We have an awesome Eero mesh network to ensure excellent wifi coverage throughout this spacious home. Spotty coverage is always an issue for big places. Sure internet may work next to the router in the living room, but what about the far reaches of the home!? That's why we installed a multi-node mesh network. And what's the internet like? It is generally solid and ran > 100Mb down the last test--sufficient for several simultaneous video conference sessions for remote work and education. Internet is, of course, an amenity and subject to service provider outages (and guests "troubleshooting" it), especially with the havoc the sand and salt wreak on cabling and facilities, no more so than any other home on the beach though, and likely better since its close in and new construction! SOAPS, TOWELS, COFFEE, ETC ETC As with most beach homes in the area, the local mgt co provide what they call a "starter supply" of soaps, toilet paper, and paper towels, etc. Enough for the first night to get you going! Please plan to bring or purchase additional supplies, and any cleaning or pantry supplies you may need, or to make a quick run to the store (or have it delivered!). You will want to bring beach towels or beach chairs as well. Because mgt cos will not generally support them, grills are not provided, though they are sometimes inherited from prior guests: your mileage may vary on this, and we usually assess and then go snag a small charcoal kettle when we come down ourselves. Also of note: at many locations, you may find the bunk beds (and certain other beds) are not fully made--instead a bedding pack is provided. This is a common practice for the local management companies, which is both green (if the bedding is not used, it doesn't have to be laundered) AND more sanitary--housekeeping does not have to crawl on the bunks and so on to make the beds. Also also... all our homes have drip coffee makers and most now have Keurigs as well. PETS We do consider well-behaved canine furry friends. This requires owner pre-approval, and is subject to a pet fee (currently $250 per pet). Please inquire. No smoking please, but feel free to eat lots of shrimp, bask in the warm sun, and have a great time! That's it! We think you'll have a great stay in our home. A beautiful home. The size accommodated the # of family members perfectly! We all had a wonderful time with kids and grandkids. We flew kites, swam in the ocean, played putt putt, went to the cart track, visited Flora-bama, went deep sea fishing in Pensacola, and let them all get LOUD at the Hangout.

A Beauty On The Gulf. The home is gorgeous and the location was ideal for our family. The house is spacious and the kitchen is really fun to cook and play games in. The location wasn't noisy or crazy, but it was also close enough to action if you needed it. The beach was amazing - a great feeling to walk outside the house and be on the beach for a swim in the waves. We also enjoyed a cup of tea on the porch while watching dolphins swim and pelicans fish. Plus the warm pool was a favorite for our kiddos. I highly recommend renting this property.

Good communication, easy check-in, the property was as advertised. Dancing Dolphin was big enough to house our entire family of 13 very comfortably. The best part was location. The privacy of the beach (especially due to COVID-19) was amazing. We enjoyed our stay and would be glad to return in the future.

Perfect location! The pictures online do not so this house justice! It is beautiful with a beautiful view. We seen dolphins almost every day of our 7 day stay sometimes multiple times a day. We are leaving 70 degree temps to go home to 20 degree temps. Christmas vacation was a blast. This will be our new Christmas get away location!

This is a large family friendly house right on the sand. The location is perfect, in a residential area away from all the touristy spots, but still close to restaurants and other activities. With five bedrooms, it is a great option for multiple families. Everyone has their own space. We read with interest the other reviews. It is true that the house shows signs of wear. There are cracked floor tiles, the sliding doors are almost impossible to open, the dryer was broken and it was not very clean. We can imagine that it is hard to maintain a beach house with so much traffic in and out. The management company could do a better job with housekeeping. Our main concerns were the lack of basic amenities that one would expect with a beach rental. There were no beach chairs or umbrellas, no beach toys, no BBQ grill, no bikes, no beach towels. We ended up having to rent everything for an additional cost. Based on how much money we spent for the house, we do think these things could have been provided. The house owners were very responsive; we did not complain about the shortcomings because overall, we had a great time with our family after over a year of lockdown.

We booked the Dancing Dolphin for our family Christmas. Every year we do a getaway. This was definitely the best place we have stayed so far. The house was spacious and right on the beach. It is definitely well worth the money. Everyone has decided we should get this same place for next year! Everyone was very responsive to any questions we had. Since posting photos of our family Christmas several people have asked how to go about renting this home. Very pleased with everything. Definitely did not want to leave!

We had a great time vacationing in your home. One of the bunk beds was broken when we arrived but someone came quickly to make the repair. My 16 year old daughter left her keys and wallet behind as we were loading up to come home. Either housekeeping or the new tenants found it and it was turned in to the lost and found. We were so grateful because all her babysitting money was still in the wallet just as she had left it.
The kids loved the pool and it was so nice for it to be covered for the times we wanted to stay out of the sun. An earlier rentor left some beach toys in the downstairs closet and we used them and returned them. I think it would be a great idea to encourage people to leave that sort of stuff behind. No one really wants to drag it home and the next people wouldn't have to buy it. We loved the large kitchen and plenty of seating in the kitchen and den. We all congregated there. Thanks so much for sharing your home.

We had a great week with our family. The house was just right for us. Everything worked well...we particularly liked the double ovens and 2 refrigerators when food prepping for our crowd. The house was clean and prepared for our arrival. Thank you for checking in with us. I appreciated the fact that we knew who to contact if a need arose. We had a wonderful time last week. It was our first trip to the area and we loved it. The location and beach were incredible! We swam with all sorts of wildlife including a shark, stingray, manatees (a pod of 5) dolphins and an array of smaller fish! The house was perfect size for our group and the rooms were comfortable and the kids had endless fun in the pool! The house was clean and spacious! The restaurants and shops were nice and fun and the water park was a blast....Overall our trip was incredible and we appreciate you renting the house to us! We had an amazing experience!

The Dancing Dolphin is a lovely, spacious home! The kitchen is perfectly equipped for any meal you wish to prepare. The furniture is comfy and the view from the master, living, and kitchen area is to die for! The pool under the home was heated and very refreshing after a day in the sun. The property manager was very responsive and helped me book another one of their homes so my hubby and I could extend our stay another week longer at the beach just for the two us.
This is a five star residence. The only reason why I rated the location with three stars was next door there is new home construction going on that was quite noisy and I thankfully spotted discarded bent nails in the sandy walkway from house to beach before my grandson stepped on it. It would have been nice had the property manager advised me of the construction and give me the opportunity to choose one of their other homes. All in all I would definitely stay here again once the construction next door is complete. The following week in another of their homes was perfect! Love, love, love Gulf Shores!

We loved staying at the Dancing Dolphin. It worked perfectly for our large family group. We especially liked having two refrigerators as we used one for sodas and juice, the other for food.
Possibly the best feature of this house is the incredible pool. It is tucked under the house so is shaded from the fierce sun and meant less need for sunscreen. It was clean and delightful. We heeded other’s advice and paid to use the heat even in the summer and it was a good call. The temperature was perfect.
This is a very nice part of the beach - quiet but still close enough to the action. We were very happy with our stay.

An excellent house!! Essentialy 3 masters (one down, 2 up), which is teriffic for multiple adults (older parents/adults can stay downstairs in style). Two additional bedrooms to round out the stay. Nicely laid out, clean, large kitchen, and the pool was icing on the cake.

Dancing Dolphin an amazing beach house! The privacy and close proximity to the beach made this vacation perfect! The house is located away from the busy strip and yet close enough to restaurants, coffee shops and kids activities like miniature golf to keep the entire family happy! The dads even found two different golf courses to play and were delighted. The covered pool was a lifesaver on the rainy days. After talking with Rick, the owner, I was so happy we had the pool heated since its not in the sun. The cost to heat the pool was more than reasonable and so very worth it! The grandkids spent the majority of the week in the pool and there were plenty of chairs for the adults to sit by the pool as well. The large kitchen area and great room were perfect for our large family. We truly enjoyed having the two refrigerators and two dishwashers! The kitchen was well appointed and there was more than enough seating. The beds were comfortable, the house stayed cool and the two decks facing the ocean were perfect to watch the sunrise and the sunset. The younger grandkids absolutely loved sleeping in the bunkbed room. An added bonus was that we practically had the beach to ourselves. Last but not least, the check in and out process was incredibly easy and any questions I had throughout the stay were answered promptly. The owner/management were quick and courteous with responses. We will definitely stay here again!

Our family had a wonderful vacation at Dancing Dolphin. The management team was friendly and responsive (we had a little question about the pool that was answered very quickly). Check in and out process was easy. We loved the close proximity to the beach (while we were there we felt we had it practically to ourselves). The big open kitchen was great for our large group and we really enjoyed having two refrigerators and two dishwashers! Our family hopes to stay here again in the future!

Also, the underhouse pool was perfect! Definitely need to pay for heating since not in sun, and it could have stood to be a bit warmer. The owner/management was great with responses.

If you’re wanting to go as a large family with multiple families, this is the place for you! It was perfect for our 3 family and grandparents. We loved having a short walk to the beach and plenty of space for our kids to run and play. We loved every second of the property and the owner was very nice and responsive for any questions or concerns!
