Located in West Beach, this charming house for $1,016 per night is a great option for your next trip. The Egret 2071 West Beach Blvd 6BR 6BA. Gulf Shores. Beachfront. Pool. Single level floorplan. Pool. Nice! Update: June, 2023. Brand new virtual tour. Check it out! Update: May, 2023. NEW DECKS. All over. Awesome. Even added a platform by the pool. Makes our sweet multilevel beachfront decks even more special! The Egret is a spacious 6 bedroom and 6 bathroom house is located directly on the beach. It is completely furnished and has a fully equipped kitchen including a TWO refrigerators, a dishwasher and microwave. TWO fabulous Great rooms with vaulted ceilings provide plenty of gathering space. Lots of deck space too, both in the sun, and sheltered/covered! Great stretch of the beach. Lots of space. Secluded. Dunes. Nice. Like having the beach to yourself, seriously! And Egret has lots of deck space, both covered and open, so you can lounge in whatever environment you want! Sun, some sun, no sun. Up to you! BEDDING: Northeast Bedroom: King Northwest Bedroom: 2 Queens East Middle Bedroom: Queen West Middle Bedroom: Twin over Full Bunk Southeast Bedroom: King Southwest Bedroom: 2 Queens North Living Room: Queen Sleeper Sofa South Living Room: Queen Sleeper Sofa What else? More of course! TWO LIVING ROOMS! There's a living room in both the north and south wing of this great stand-alone home! How's that for spreading out. Not one, but two living rooms with coaches, TVs, and dining spaces. Separated by the kitchen area. How about a little divide and conquer during the vacay! TWO REFRIGERATORS Yes, two per side. Because... you need a lot of space for shrimp and beverages! POOL? You bet! Pool is under the home. A bit like an indoor pool. Big: 24x12x3-5 FT Rectangle! Great respite from hot hot hot, as well as inclement weather! Heatable too (nightly surcharge applies). Added a propane gas pool heater, so YES the pool is heatable to a maximum of 82' (the high side of recommended rec pool temps) to take the chill off! This service is by request in advance with a nightly surcharge (varies by season and with gas market price, has been $60-85 per night, just inquire, and must be for length of stay (this is based on market pricing for propane gas, and can change at any time, both up and down, until added to a reservation). Fee subject to change due to incredibly high gas rates right now. Simply request the pool be heated any time after making the reservation and at least a week before check in so we can get it on before you arrive. PARKING There is available onsite parking for at least 8 cars. More if you park under them home and stack carefully. WIFI/INTERNET YES! We have an awesome Eero mesh network to ensure excellent wifi coverage throughout this spacious home. Spotty coverage is always an issue for big places. Sure internet may work next to the router in the living room, but what about the far reaches of the home!? That's why we installed a multi-node mesh network. And what's the internet like? It is generally solid and ran > 100Mb down the last test--sufficient for several simultaneous video conference sessions for remote work and education. Internet is, of course, an amenity and subject to service provider outages (and guests "troubleshooting" it), especially with the havoc the sand and salt wreak on cabling and facilities, no more so than any other home on the beach though, and likely better since its close in and new construction! SOAPS, TOWELS, COFFEE, ETC ETC As with most beach homes in the area, the local mgt co provide what they call a "starter supply" of soaps, toilet paper, and paper towels, etc. Enough for the first night to get you going! Please plan to bring or purchase additional supplies, and any cleaning or pantry supplies you may need, or to make a quick run to the store (or have it delivered!). You will want to bring beach towels or beach chairs as well. Because mgt cos will not generally support them, grills are not provided, though they are sometimes inherited from prior guests: your mileage may vary on this, and we usually assess and then go snag a small charcoal kettle when we come down ourselves. Also of note: at many locations, you may find the bunk beds (and certain other beds) are not fully made--instead a bedding pack is provided. This is a common practice for the local management companies, which is both green (if the bedding is not used, it doesn't have to be laundered) AND more sanitary--housekeeping does not have to crawl on the bunks and so on to make the beds. Also also... all our homes have drip coffee makers and most now have Keurigs as well. No smoking please. No pets. SNOWBIRDS! Up to 2/3rds off for off-season stays of 28 days or longer. Little bigger? Great for large family gathering. We enjoyed the location of this house on the beach away from condos, and the kids appreciated the under house pool. Having 2 family rooms and 2 refrigerators was key for our large group. House was clean & furnishings were adequate. Being emailed check in code made getting into the house a breeze. Thanks for helping us make some great memories!

My family and I had a wonderful and relaxing stay at the Egret house. It was right on the beach, newly renovated, and very clean. We had everything we needed and more space than we could even use. This house was perfect for us (a group of 6 adults) but would also be great for much larger groups.

Our stay was great. Your home was so accommadating for our family vacation. It was wonderful to have a bathroom for each bedroom. The other thing that was wonderful was how close the beach is to your home. The weather was mostly great but the pool being under the house was great for the one day we had a lot of rain.We had two problems while we were there. We had biscuits for breakfast one morning and the oven didn't work. We called Bama office and someone came out very quickly. The next thing I knew was the repair man returning with a brand new stove. Then the AC closest to the beach wasn't cooling. Again the Bama office sent someone very quickly. He said the drain pipe was clogged. After he cleaned it out the AC started working great. We will recommend your home to anyone looking for a beach home. Hope my reply lets you know that our Labor Day stay at the Egret was truly a memorable one.

Our stay was very nice. Our 3 children and their families and my two nephews and there families had a wonderful time. My sister used to share her timeshares with us but she has since passed so we asked her 2 boys and families to go with us. This is the first time we stayed directly on the beach. It was wonderful to have it right out our door! And our own pool. No crowds! It was nice to have a shaded pool some days. And we had waves everyday so the pool was a good break sometimes. Over all we had a very nice time and if we make a trip to Alabama again. We would love to stay there again. Highly recommend.

This house was perfect for our family. There were enough room and bedrooms to accommodate everything, which each one being clean, charming, and comfortable. The patio and backyard are awesome - you have enough beach space that we played volleyball and spike ball. Also you are right on the beach with an awesome view. Rick could not have been more responsive and accommodating, assisting us with adjusted check out/in and recommending where to eat. We can't wait to come back :)

We celebrated our 7 year anniversary this past Monday! We had a great time at Egret. The layout was perfect for our whole crew. We had 8 adults and a wide age range of 7 kids/babies. The location was exactly what we were looking for, our spot right out front on the beach felt very private. The kids loved the pool too! We only needed to contact the local management company once when we had some issues with the heater on the pool, but we called and sent a message through the portal and someone came by fairly quickly and got it all sorted out. Other than that everything went smoothly and we had a great time at the house. Everyone said they'd rent it again in the future.

We had a delightful time with family in your lovely home. We put to good use the large communal areas, as this clan is known as a "lively bunch"! There was room enough for the musical instruments to have a corner for evening sing alongs, as well as a games area that didn't have to be removed when it was time for meals. I was very pleased with the timely responses from Tabitha with Kaiser, and her follow up on items. I hope you are pleased with the new management company. It was a wonderful stay, and the house was a great contributor to a lot of happy times!

We were fortunate enough to see dolphins from the balcony/upper deck when the Gulf was calm. It was beautiful!

We had a great time at the Egret! It’s a lovely beachfront property with easy access to the gulf and a private pool, which our family loved. Great furnishings and kitchen supplies. Quick drive to town but feels private due to location. I booked our next year’s stay before I even completed this year’s!

The house and pool were all that we hoped for, both being clean and well maintained. The pool was a nice size, heated, and was surrounded with more than enough chairs/recliners to accommodate a large party.
The kitchen was the most well equipped (Pots, pans, silverware, dishes, small appliances, etc.) of any place we have ever rented. The house had lots of storage space, with 2 refrigerators and a large pantry.
All the rooms were exactly as advertised, and the common areas had lots of seating.

The house is great! We had 3 generations staying. The 2 living spaces made it perfect to have different interests going on at same time. Large centrally located kitchen with 2 refrigerators made it perfect for preparing meals or just having a snack. The heated pool was much appreciated as the weather was cool and you couldn’t go into the gulf. I’d highly recommend and will book again if dates work!!

We had a very good experience the entire time of our stay. Everything was well managed, A couple of very small problems with the house we never felt required notifying the management company. Everything was very close from restaurants to shopping. The proximity to the beach was ideal, Up-and-over the Doone and you're on the beach, It was beautiful.

The covered pool under the house is genius and we really appreciated it when it was raining in the morning. The deck was put to good use with nightly charades and morning coffee while enjoying the ocean waves. We had 3 families totaling 11 people (3 of which were under 5) there is a wing of the house which is out of the normal traffic flow so that kids can be napping without the rest of the guests disturbing them, and the house did not feel crowded.

This house is best described as tired and needs some love. The pictures were clearly taken years ago. I think my college aged son put it best when he said this is the kind of house they rent. We had a number of issues throughout our stay, but the property manager was super responsive. The location and pool under the house were wonderful! It could be a five star rating with some repairs and updates.
