About this house rental
Nestled in West Beach, this attractive house for $1,288 per night is a great choice for your next break. Dream Big is a great house/combined duplex for a gathering or retreat. Right across from the beach, with a private pool & elevator. We've renovated the main level so it has one really living room and one big dining room instead of two smaller ones. We think this will work beautifully for our guests! We know how hard it is to find big gathering spaces. Plus you'll have FREE Golf and Activities every day of your stay to make it even better (value of up to $700/day). It rents as a whole and has connecting doors on two floors with a total of 12 bedrooms, 10 full baths and lots of room to spread out over 3 floors and 7000 sq feet. The kitchens offer 2 refrigerators, 4 dishwashers, 2 ranges, 2 undercounter ice machines, and there are 4 sets of washers and dryers. Nice combination of larger common spaces for togetherness, and lots of private bedrooms with porches. The first floor has a family room on each side with a large tv/dvd, games, etc so the kids have a place to call their own. You'll enjoy an 18'x36' large heatable private pool and outdoor gathering space with grills and seating for outdoor dining. The pool can be heated for $50/day. The pool area is complete with lots of lounge chairs, tables for outdoor dining, and a grill. There are also beach chairs for your use. Located in family-friendly West Beach, 2.3 miles west of Hwy 59. Away from condos & crowds, still quite close to restaurants, shops & attractions. We accept reservations UP TO 51 WEEKS before arrival. If the corresponding week this year has not passed, we cannot yet accept your reservation. This year's guests have an opportunity to rebook at the end of their stay. Sorry! NO COLLEGE GROUPS. We welcome teams, church groups, faculty-sponsered groups. Please note we are unable to rent to unchaperoned college groups or groups under the age of 25. Maximum of 30 adults. Hangout Festival there is a $1000 refundable security deposit. The first floor has 2 King bedrooms overlooking the pool (1 also has a daybed), plus 2 that have a King plus a Daybed and Trundle (2 twins) facing the beach, and two family rooms, one with a Queen Sleeper. The middle floor has a large living room, a large dining room, plenty of kitchen space and 2 King Bedrooms one with a Daybed overlooking the pool. The top floor has 2 King bedrooms overlooking the pool (1 with a daybed), 2 Queen bedrooms in the middle, and facing the beach, a King Bedroom with Daybed and Trundle (2 Twins) and a Queen Bedroom with Daybed and Trundle (2Twins).

This house was absolutely amazing. We had 24 people of all ages and everything about this house was perfect! The elevator was nice to have for the older folks that couldn’t take the stairs. The pool was nice and warm and clean. We all Loved it and will return again

The place is very spacious and beautiful. My family raved about the balconies and other amenities available. We enjoyed homecooked meals made in the the fully loaded kitchens and on the grill. Everyone had their own space for privacy but the entertainment spaces made it easy to eat and enjoy as a family.

This place accommodated our Annual Military Reunion with extreme comfort. It was very close to the beach and had a nice outdoor pool setting for the lazy days. The rooms were super clean and comfortable. The common areas were large enough and comfy enough for all 17 of us. Highly recommend for large gatherings.

We have a huge family and this house let everyone have their own space yet still be together. It was in a great location and any problems we had, were almost immediately dealt with. The only negative were the dryers - they would not get clothes or towels dry unless ran 4-6 times. We would love to go back!

The Dream Big was wonderful for our family of 37. We had 30 sleeping at the house. Of our 30, 12 were under 12 years old. The arrangement of the house gave us room without feeling crowded. It was amazing, noise level was good, pool was excellent, beds were comfortable for all! Would highly recommend for large groups. 5 stars

Dream Big was the perfect home for our big family of 32! With 12 bedrooms and 10 bathrooms we had plenty of room and never felt too crowded. Only a short walk to the beach and the private pool was a big plus for our family. I was sad to leave!

This house was great for our big group. We had 20 adults and 3 children. We each had our own bedroom and bathroom. The walk to the beach was short and there were plenty of beach items to use like chairs, umbrellas and wagons. The pool was nice and the area surrounding it had plenty of tables and chairs for all. The elevator was nice to have especially after a grocery store run. The house could use some ice maker was broken as well as a dishwasher. Tubs in several bathrooms had loose hardware as well as the faucet in one of the kitchens. We spent much more time outside than inside. It's a great house for large groups!

We had such a great stay at Dream Big House! Beautiful and clean house. Came with a softball team and the girls loved hanging by the heated pool and in the big open living spaces too. Kitchens were well stocked with everything we needed to cook with while there. A/C was out on one side of the house when we arrived and issue was fixed and handled very quickly. Easy to get in touch with those in charge. We will definitely be returning!

This house had EVERYTHING we could ask for! So much space for my husband’s side of the family to bond with my side of the family for an incredible vacation together. The 2 full kitchens made it easy to prepare meals....and multiple dishwashers certainly helped! The kids thoroughly enjoyed the pool! The elevator made transporting luggage/groceries so easy! LOVED LOVED LOVED our stay!!

The house was amazing. So much bigger than we expected and pictures show. The pool was great, house was clean and there were tons of beach stuff available for use. The location was amazing and parking was not as big of an issue as we thought it would be. We were told 10 cars could fit but if you park back to back you can get way more. The kitchen was stocked with more than you need including serving dishes and bbq items. The only extra thing i would bring is a laundry bag for those staying on the second floor. There is no washer/ dryer on this floor so you need to go up or down. All and all a truly amazing and memorable experience.

House included an elevator which was great for unloading and loading. Great open area for gathering and eating. All rooms had balconies with either bay or ocean views. Very close to entertainment and restaurant venues.
Only two minor opportunities... improve the drainage for 3rd floor bathrooms...sinks are a little slow and it's probably time to upgrade the outdoor furniture (love those Adirondack chairs hint, hint).

We had our family reunion after a 5 year break. It was great to have everyone under one roof and still not feel cramped. The kitchens were well stocked with dishes and pots and pans. We loved the pool and it was just a short walk to the beach. There was plenty of parking. The beds were comfortable and the water pressure was good. We had two small issues while we were there and both were taken care of quickly and efficiently. I am definitely keeping this one on my list for the future.

Our group of 20 from Minnesota recently stayed at Dream Big and had a wonderful experience. The house is HUGE and it took some time to get acclimated to the layout. It was very easy to get lost and our kids had a great time playing hide and seek throughout the house! The elevator came in very handy with our room on the top floor and I was relieved to not have to lug my luggage up the many, many stairs. The double kitchens and the common space was awesome and perfect for our group! We really appreciated that the kitchens were stocked with everything we needed to prepare meals, etc. We also really enjoyed the perks of ice machines and several dishwashers so we could spend less time in the kitchen and more time at the beach! Not only were the bedrooms decorated beautifully with a different theme for each, they were also quiet when needing a break from noisy kids and when it was time to sleep. Having a private bath for each room and a washer/dryer in each wing was wonderful as well. The pool area is a great space too and it seemed like a pool this size, with the option to heat, is rare amongst the houses. Overall, it was a great experience and I would recommend this house to anyone looking for a place to stay with a large group. The beach is literally across the street and easy to get to. You do have to drive a bit to get to restaurants and stores but it was not an issue. The area was quiet while we were there even with spring breakers all around. I should also add that property management was great before our trip answering the many questions we had and also while we were there, checking in and making sure all was going okay. All in all, it was a fun time in Gulf Shores and we loved the Dream Big!

We had another Hunt family vaca that was relaxing and fun and made even better by the accommodations! We stayed at Dream Big in 2018, and we were thrilled to be back again in 2021. Tracy was amazing! She had everything spotless when we got there. We had some issues with roaches in the kitchens, which is the only real complaint from any of us. We got to experience HUGE winds, which put the poolside chairs IN the pool; along with a large quantity of the sand piles next door for the construction of their inground pool..... so we didn't get use of the pool the last three days..... but we sure used the heck out of it the rest of the time! Wish we could have stayed a few more weeks!! Dream Big is AWESOME!!

This is our second stay at the property, the first time being in 2015. The beds in the rooms were not the same as listed in the listing. The house was mostly cleaned but not a good job. Dishes were in the cabinets and not cleaned. Each bathroom had only two rolls of toilet paper. There was water damage to the ceiling in the main Living room, one toilet on the lower floor was leaking from the back, the front door did not work & had to get a new code, door handle was coming off front door and we tightened it, freezer in east side was frozen shut and we had maintenance fix it only to have it freeze shut again within an hour, several sliding doors did not have locks or did not open easily, one of the lower floor bedrooms had air vents that did not open, the back stairs to the pool were questionable as they were warped and skewed. I don't want to say that everything was bad because it certainly was not, we did enjoy the trip and it is a nice house but it is in need of a lot of repair.
