Located in Sunset Cliffs, this attractive house for $583 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. This vacation home is in a quiet, residential neighborhood and is best suited for families and guests who are looking to relax. Family reunions are welcome! Your reservation will be canceled if you plan to have a bachelor party or any type of party w friends! This one-of-a-kind corner lot property is two blocks from the water and only 10 minutes from the airport and downtown... its a fantastic location to enjoy the entire city! There was recently more than 150k in improvements made to the home, including all new kitchen cabinets and countertops, artifical turf, kitchen patio cover, exterior paint, theater/media room, tv's, interior paint, bedding and custom indoor and outdoor furniture. No expense has been spared. As the many great reviews and pictures show, this is not your typical beach rental! We stayed in this house 4 nights the week before Christmas. The location of this house was ideal. It was close to all the attractions we wanted to visit--Sea World, San Diego Zoo, beaches, gas lamp district. It was also close to the airport. The neighborhood felt very safe, and it was nice to know that our host was next door if we needed anything.
The house itself was perfect for our family of eight which included our teenage son, 2 adult children and their spouses, and our 2 year old grandson. Everyone had their own bedroom space and private bathroom. There was plenty of space to spread out. The house had everything we needed. We appreciated the Pack-n-Play for our grandson to sleep in. He also loved the toys that were provided. The rooftop view was truly amazing. It was awesome to be able to see the ocean, and we enjoyed a beautiful sunset while relaxing in the hot tub. The house was clean and comfortable with very nice finishes.
We booked this house last minute because another host cancelled our reservations, not once but twice just days before our scheduled trip. (Do not book a house with Casey Reynolds as your host. She cannot be trusted!) The host of this home, Sean, was so accomodating. He aknowledged the stress we had been through trying to find a place last minute and offered to let us check in early since the house was already clean and ready for guests. Things work out the way they should, and we were happy to have found this house!

There was 6 adults 3 children and more than enough space for everyone. Sean was very responsive quickly issues. No way yo make ice which would have been nice good supply of stuff for the kids for the beach.

Really good experience overall. Space was nice, well apportioned, and clean. It was unseasonably cool so having so many blankets available came in handy. Really enjoyed the top deck and hot tub, and the sunset was great!
A couple quick notes around the layout…all in line with the listing but worth mentioning:
- The top deck on hot tub must be accessed through the main top bedroom. Not ideal but the room is huge so it is manageable.
- The second floor room has a skylight, which is good for light but not ideal for sleeping in when the sun comes up.
- The only bathroom in the main floor living space is through the small single room.
- The basement suite is accessed only through the movie suite or through outside. The room was also quite musty when we were there. Sean is doing everything possible to offset but still might be a turnoff to sensitive sleepers.
All in all manageable with our group, but it is worth thinking through logistics for your group. But man the sunsets are great!

We stayed here for a family reunion and couldn’t be happier. The check in was very simple and smooth. The home was immaculate and had amenities that made a difference such as games and toys for kids, lots of extra blankets to sit outside and enjoy a cool evening chatting. The home is a short walk from the ocean and you can get to ocean beach very quickly. Lots of restaurants, breweries, little shops, and walkability. The rooftop hot tub was spectacular to watch the sunset. All in all, would definitely stay again.

This house was great for our group of 7. We could have had about 5 more easily! Great location to everything and airport. One negative would be having to go through the master bedroom to get to the rooftop/hot tub area. With no door on the bathroom, you can see right into the shower. Even a frosted shower door would be helpful! Overall, everything was good!

We celebrated my mother in law’s 75th birthday with a trip to San Diego and loved our stay at this house. It was very spacious and clean. The rooftop patio had an amazing view. The kids liked the beach toys and the crib/high chairs made it easy for the baby. Would absolutely recommend.

The whole family got together for a wedding so there was much to do and the property was just as advertised. Everything worked well and there was no issues all week which was nice to not have to worry about issues while celebrating a special day. I hope we were as good a tenant as our host was for us and we are grateful for the hospitality..

We had two families staying here for a spring break vacation. It was a perfect set up as the adults and the kids had their own spaces. The listing is pretty accurate, but just know that the one bedroom with the single bed is right off the livingroom and is pretty open air so anyone needing quiet will not be able to sleep there. Also, the room with the white beds and red headboards is in between the livingroom and the room with the couch. So anyone staying in that room will have people walking through. Minor details but hopefully helpful. The following would have made this house PERFECT:
1. MORE TOWELS. A lot more. There's nowhere near enough for both showers and beach.
2. The dryer is in desperate need of replacement. You have to dry towels 2-3 times to get them dry and because there weren't enough towels we were constantly running the dryer.
3. One Wifi repeater to cover the back of the house. The Wifi doesn't reach the furthest room.
4. Shower window covering for 2nd story bathroom. Not sure who we were showing off to, but the window is wide open in the shower.
5. Cover for master bathroom area (even 70s beads would be good). People can see into the shower even at the bottom of the stairs and with people coming in an out for the hot tub that could be an embarrassing moment.
All that said, I would absolutely stay here again.

Ocean Beach Perfection
This property is AMAZING! We loved it and would definitely return. There was plenty of room, and the rooftop deck and hot tub literally make the property so special. The home was fully stocked with all amenities. The beds were super comfortable - te location is incredible. We enjoyed many day trips, and restaurants just a short drive away We wouldn’t change a thing - run do not walk to stay here and the best vacation will await you!

Amazing Property!
This is an amazing property to stay at! We came here for our annual girls trip and celebrate our dear friend’s 50th birthday. Property was spacious, in a great neighborhood and not to mention amazing view. The proximity of the property was within minutes of downtown so we are at some amazing restaurants at night.
Not to mention Sean is such a great host! So friendly and responsive when we had any questions. This property is a MUST to stay at when you’re in San Diego.

Great house for family with various ages. Lots of space to spread out including outdoor seating area. Bottom floor room with own entrance may not be connected to the central air and felt warmer than rest of house. Kitchen is well equipped with pots, pans, and utensils. Would stay here again if heading to San Diego with a big group.

This was the perfect home for my family. We enjoyed our stay very much, especially with the lovely sunset view right from the hot tub!
