We specialize in a vacation or a corporate home on the California coast. The pool is for you only. Short or Long term guests welcomed, and sleeps 4. We are well positioned in San Diego, near the beach, and near the bay. We feature a wrap around pool deck that's perfect for sun bathing. Inside you will enjoy a bright airy environment with floor to ceiling windows. The Poolside guest house features a New A/C unit installed June 2023. accommodations include 1 bedroom with a queen size bed, and 1 full bathroom. There is also a comfortable pull down Murphy Bed in the living room to accommodate up to four guests. The pool heated only with a solar blanket and solar panels. The solar blanket provides heating when the sun is out especially from April-November. Enjoy your stay in this Classic California home with more than 700 square feet of space. The large living room / kitchen area features an efficiency kitchen, and dining area. We also feature a large patio by the pool that is equipped with a BBQ. Enjoy the outdoor patio year round with a meal poolside. Last year we just finished constructing a new wrap around deck poolside! You can also rely on a washer and dryer that comes with the rental. Our newly renovated fence offers great privacy. Come stay with us in San Diego's beach community of Point Loma, Ocean Beach.

We stayed here for several nights over Christmas and it was incredible. First of all, the place was great and the host was very gracious! He even brought us fresh-baked cookies on Christmas morning. Secondly, the location can’t be beat. Within a 1-2 mile radius are Ocean Beach, Sunset Cliffs, Mission Beach, Point Loma, etc. So many great shops and restaurants are *right* there for you. If you want to explore more, everything else is a short 15-20 minute drive away: Coronado, Balboa Park, Encinitas. Best trip!!!

We enjoyed the pool house stay. Our host were very helpful! They went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. Location is perfect to get around many fun areas and restaurants in San Diego.

This was a splendid property. It is in a great location, not far from anything you'll likely want to do in the area. The neighborhood is quiet. The property is fantastic and true to description. I can't say enough great things -- the pool, amenities, etc. It was perfect for our short trip to San Diego; kids loved the pool. And the owner, Pete, is very helpful, kind, thoughtful, and happy to answer questions you might have. We'd definitely stay again.

We had an absolute excellent experience at this property! The owners went above and beyond to make our stay convenient and were so warm and welcoming. Having the pool all to ourselves was wonderful for our kids and the property location is ideal. We will definitely book again next time we come to the area!

The apartment was snug and met our family's (4) needs very well. It was well appointed and the backyard was very relaxing. We spent most of our time exploring the beach and city, and it was nice to return to a quiet place at the end of the day. Our kids loved the beach toys and the Murphy bed!

Our stay was awesome! Pete is an excellent host. Staying there was like staying with family. Our group included two teenage boys. They loved the pool. The temp was always great. The location was perfect as it seemed everything was about 15 minutes away. We enjoyed sight seeing, attending the 2023 Men's World Lacrosse Championship and each day coming back to relax was amazing. Can't say enough good things. We loved it. Thanks Pete!

A group of 4 of us had an amazing time at this home. Pete and his wife are awesome hosts - there for anything you might need but not poking in your space/business. We’d come back in the afternoon from being out and the pool would be uncovered and ready for us to enjoy. If I return to San Diego I will certainly stay here again. Thanks so much for your hospitality!

Pete was an excellent host! Would definitely stay here again. Plenty of room for two adults and two kids. Pool was very nice. Plenty of extra towels and blankets. Location was great, within 20 minutes from La Jolla, the zoo, and the airport. Recommend Rosarios for pizza and Pomas for sub sandwiches.

The couple was extremely helpful, in offering any assistance, for example once I arrive taking me to buy groceries. Sharing information on sightseeing and actually dropping me off at the beach. The weather was too cold to swim my only regret. But I will return when warmer.

The space was perfect for us, a short walk to my sisters and just enough space for use all. The Murphy bed for the kids, though one chose to sleep on the couch, and a separate room for the parents. A responsive gregarious host making room of unused space (separate) in their house. We will definitely be putting this on our short list of place to stay.

My son and I had the best time staying at Point Loma! The owner Pete is great and the property was perfect! It is located really close to the beach and we were able to easily catch rides to all of the attractions we visited. Highly recommend staying here!

Too much too list but everything was literally just right. Met and went beyond our expectations. The place is and feels exactly like the pictures and description. The pool, the private studio apt. The location. And Pete is wonderful. Helped us feel very much at home. A very nice, thoughtful, knowledgeable person who we left feeling like we'd made a good friend. Plan on coming back as soon as possible.

Our hosts were welcoming, charming, cheerful people. I took to them immediately. Pete showed me the ins and outs of the pool, told about a neat market and deli nearby. And generally made us feel at home. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Our family of four with 7 and 4 year-old kids had the best time here. Unbeatable price for the most perfect location! Pool was warm and clean, yard was 100% private and an oasis, and the kitchen was very well equipped for all needs. Amazing local hole-in-the-wall restaurants just down the street. Close access to Coronado, SeaWorld, the Zoo, La Jolla, and of course Ocean Beach. Would absolutely stay again.
