Location, staff service, breakfast quality and choices, amazing view. Nicky serving breakfast was an absolute star.
The room no.8 was extremely small and not enough space to manoeuvre for two adults, I hit my back on a shelf sticking out as packing my suitcase. The bed was very short and mattress springs were poking underneath feeling sharp under fabric. The separate bathroom across the corridor with another bedroom next door made it extremely inconvenient. It was advertised not ensuite, but didn’t expect it to be public sharing landing. The bedding or room smelt of dog. We kept smelling it now and again in bed. We both had a poor sleep.

A great, traditional B&B. Our room was a double, located on the second floor overlooking the harbour. Three night stay.
Room had tea / coffee making facilities, a good shower, comfy bed & little fridge inside. Two chairs situated by the window meaning we spent hours watching the comings & flings of the harbour - it’s quite mesmerising! We used it as a base to explore not only Brixham, but local beaches (loved Broadsands), Totnes & Dartmouth (via boat).
A bonus was having breakfast included - a lovely lady taking orders & Barry in the kitchen cooking. Both friendly & helpful with any questions of the local area.

The only thing I’d say is that rooms aren’t refreshed daily & theres no reception / onsite staff except at breakfast - but we didn’t find this an issue.

Location was good breakfast good our room smelt really bad we slept with the window open even in the rain
The smell in the room getting out the door was akward trying to manager 2 doors
