Very comfortable and clean. After the first night Steve moved me to a larger more spacious room as the original room was quite small for a double.

We were very happy about the room and the bathroom. The bed was particularly comfortable and there were tea and coffee making facilities and fresh biscuits provided every day. Also a bottle of water was left in the room. Breakfast was very good, we had eggs florentine and another day cooked breakfast. We could not fault it. Good amount and nicely presented. Also including in that we had cereal, fruit juice and fruit available. We highly recommend it and we will come back again.

Standouts for us were Steve, the owner, one of the most interesting people we've ever met. We never met Matt, his partner, but he made a fantastic breakfast every day of our stay. Plenty of parking was a great bonus. It was great to have a bath in the room. The owners were very relaxed; they even said we could bring a takeaway back, as long as we consumed it in the dining room. We'd never been allowed to do that before. We met lots of returning guests, always a good sign.
