It is centrally located to a number of year-around sports & hobby activities including fantastic winter snow skiing approximately 5 miles from NorthStar, ten-minutes to Squaw and Sugar Bowl. If you are into mountain biking riding, we have a number of single track and multi-track locations to keep you challenged. Road riders will love the ride their bikes to Donner Lake which includes some steep climbing. Hiking is available throughout the area. Donner Lake is minutes away and Lake Tahoe is 13 miles away. Boat rentals available at both locations. We are walking distance from downtown Truckee where you can dine and shop at your leisure. Our home has 3-bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, We have a beautiful grand Living room, modern furnished kitchen including Nespresso Coffee Maker (bring your own VertuoLine-style Capsules) + Keurig Single Cup Coffee Maker (bring your own K-Cup pods) + Full pot coffee maker (Bring Your Own Coffee Grounds); furnished with full sets of pots / pans / dishes/ glassware, We have a gas BBQ on the main deck to ensure the 'Foody' in you will be happy. Main bedroom has a King Bed and in-suite bathroom has a shower & tub. The room is furnished with plasma TV, & Wi-Fi Access for your streaming applications. For those who want to work remotely an office area is set up for you in the grand room. Please note: WE HAVE NO CABLE SERVICE but the home is set with Wi-Fi so you can stream your own app's using your own sign-on. Two guest rooms are downstairs, which each has a queen-size bed. These 2 guest rooms share the downstair bathroom. Our rates include a mandatory 13.5% tax required by the Town of Truckee (11.5% Transient Occupancy Tax and 2% TTBID Tax on both rental and cleaning rates.) Sorry I too am disappointed with these taxes too! We are a Registered Transient Occupancy Registered Home. Certificate Number 012558. The maximum occupants is 6 people for the rate shown which includes children and infants. NO pets allowed. There is a max of 4 parking spaces (2 inside the garage and 2 in the driveway.) There is zero street parking. PLEASE.... no parties. A LARGE penalty will be assessed if you have a party of a group over 10-people visiting in the house and yard areas. We are seeking renters who understand our home is for 6-people max for the living condition.

Allergy Alert: We do not allow dogs, but my 8-year-old English Lab has been to the house so for those with severe allergies this might not be your place. Our home is well cleaned and no sign of our pup, but I want to be sensitive to those who might have allergies as we cannot guarantee she has not left a few blond hairs.
