About this house rental
Nestled in Pentwater, this charming house for $250 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. Step into the Lemon Drop Cottage and start to relax. Our 3 BR, 2 Bath home features a large living room and open concept dining room/kitchen with an island bar. Although this home is part of the historical society, it still retains the charm of being built in 1871. But don't be fooled - the lemon drop also has many modern upgrades. A brand new kitchen, nice new comfy mattresses and of course....Wifi! Master bedroom features a queen sized bed and has en suite bath. Guest bedroom has full sized bed and one twin bed Bedroom upstairs features 2 twin beds. Off of the dining room is a slider leading to the large enclosed porch, which is great for those cool summer nights when you'd like to sit and still enjoy the outdoors a bit longer. Off of the porch is another outdoor area - a deck/patio area so if you'd like to sit in direct sunlight during the day or into the evening you can relax and do so! The patio area is also equipped with a grill so you have plenty of space to sit, relax, and prepare dinner for the evening while you enjoy a refreshment. Our cottage has all the comforts of home so you can enjoy your stay in Pentwater and just relax.

We are three lifelong friends of over 45 years and love our girls trips. This was our second time staying at The Lemon Drop within 3 years and it has become a favorite. The home is beautiful, clean, comfortable, and walking distance to everything! We’ve decided to make this an annual trip! Can’t wait to come back next year! Thank you!

Visited Pentwater for a couple of nights with another couple. This was our first visit to Pentwater and it definitely won’t be our last! We were pleasantly surprised how nice Sara’s house was and how conveniently located it was to everything (stores, restaurants, beach). It was perfect for 2 couples, and everything we needed was available in the home. Thank you Sara!

We all liked the house. We loved the screened in porch. Very relaxing. Since the master bath is so small, It would be nice if there was a mirror above the small dresser in the bedroom. It would let 2 people get ready easier. What would even be better would be a second vanity on that wall. Since it backs against the shower, Water & drain would be accessible. But still, best place we’ve stayed in Pentwater so far.

A group of friends and I kicked off the start of our summer break staying at this delightful cottage! Super cute screened porch to relax on and short walk to the Antler for dinner.
My family joined me the next day and they loved it, too!
We spent the evening on the porch again, listening to music and playing cards.
Comfy beds, space to spread out, and two bathrooms!
We had the perfect weekend in Pentwater. Thank you!

The house was very clean and has everything you need to enjoy the stay. The town is beautiful. Everything is walking distance, restaurants, stores, marina etc. Definitely, a great place!

This is a super clean and lovely home just steps from downtown Pentwater. Amazing screened porch and back deck. Great for relaxing. The beach is within walking and biking distance. The TV streams well and internet connection never failed. Has washer and dryer- big bonus:) Happy to discover plenty of games for family to play. Perfect!

The cottage was close to town (nice short walk) in a quiet cute neighborhood. It had a nice porch that was very enjoyable to sit on and chat with friends. It was very nice to have a fully equipped kitchen with spices even! We enjoyed a couple of nice evenings playing games at the table, relaxing on the sectional, and snacking at the bar.

The cottage is just as listed- very clean- updated. I appreciated the supplies in the kitchen- I had brought trash bags etc- but they were also already there. Obviously, there might not always be this or that- but I really appreciated what was there. The kitchen was LOVELY.
The beds were nice- my 12 year old loved the upstairs room. There were plenty of extra pillows and blankets. We enjoyed the couch- quite comfortable for the 5 of us. We also spent a lot of time on the screened in porch- just lovely. My college age daughter and husband both had some work to do that week- and the Wifi was perfect- and although the cottage is small- there was PLENTY of room for them each to have a workspace.
I had one panic about AC- as I'm hot natured and knew I'd be getting ready for a wedding. I messaged the owner and got a very quick and accurate response- which I appreciated. (My poor husband then had to fit a fan in the car). But, with the downstairs window unit and 2 fans (cottage has one) the cottage was lovely the whole week- even with 80's outside. There are ceiling fans too.
The location is AMAZING. We were steps away from the main street in Pentwater as well as an easy walk to Mears beach. We wish we'd had more time to explore!
We would not hesitate to stay at the Lemon Drop again! :)

Walkable to restaurants, shops, beach and other entertainment. Property is well maintained and stocked with linen, towels and for preparing and serving meals. Brought my family with grandkids, have stayed previously and plan to stay next year. The screened porch is the best feature.

This place was perfect for my family. Very close to Silver Lake sand dunes and walking distance to town. We had a great time playing yahtzee, so many games to choose from. We enjoyed watching football on the screened porch and I cooked a great meal in the kitchen. This place has everything you need for your stay. Will definitely come back in the future.

We had a great stay and would highly recommend this place! The screened in porch and fenced in backyard was perfect for our family. The kitchen had everything we needed and the house is so accommodating! Close enough to walk into town and not on a busy road. Can't wait to come back!

We had a great time at the Lemon Drop! It was very clean and decorated so cute! It is close to town and we were able to walk to all the shops and the beach. Sara was great at communicating and made sure that we had everything we needed throughout our stay. We definitely want to return in the future and would highly recommend this location to others.

The Cottage was just as represented. We loved the fantastic location, we were able to easily walk to all that Pentwater has to offer. The deck, screened porch, and backyard were fantastic and where we spent the most of our time.
The kitchen was impressively equipped and had everything we needed to cook breakfast in the morning and enjoy charcuterie in the evening.
I especially enjoyed drinking my morning coffee on the screened porch in the extra comfy rocking chair.
Outside of the cottage it seems like covid has taken a toll on some of the area businesses, but there is still plenty to offer!
Bri’s Pies made us an excellent dinner and we loved strolling through the town shops.
Overall I highly recommend The Lemondrop for your next Pentwater getaway, you won’t be disappointed.
